dangoteinlaw: I want to use this opportunity to cry this out, that actor Zubby should be made to disappear, the guy is killing nollywood, as a 90 kid I can't believe I still prefer 90s movies to the nonsense we have today. Good movies stop at emeka Ike's era how will Zubby be made to disappear when Nigerians on the street are so in love with him? anytime I say Zubby can't act, lots of people around me try to chop my head off. they'll tell me he's an action legend. I wonder what those people see as good acting. Anyway, I don't think Gentle Jack is expensive like he claims. The roles are just not coming...period. Gentle can act and has been in the industry for a long time but he didn't catch so much fame and fortune from acting. He was stereotyped to playing insignificant bodyguard roles. |

Yarnvibes: Popular Actor, Kunle Afolayan seems to be a hard nut to crack unlike most other movie directors in Nigeria who have at one time or another fallen for the antics of starlets eager to sleep with anybody in exchange for movie roles.
The actor in an interview with Ademola Olonilua boasted that no Nollywood actress would dare to dangle her body at him in return for a chance to appear in his movies.

YoungLionken: 2face nor sure abeg. If him contest for any electoral position for this country, I go vote against am! He was busy making mouth about protest against govt, only for him to bow out few days to the day, stating flimsy excuses. And I was like, how come he didn't know what he was about to do? That's why I still respect baba Fela, Nelson Mandela, MKO Abiola, Odumegwu Ojukwu, to mention a few... The aforementioned are still significant till tomorrow morning because of what they fought for. Tuface wanted to be a hero, forgetting that such comes as a result of great sacrifice and consistency. Na how to impregnate women him take be hero, now Wizkid have joined (Wizkid is worse tho, for neglecting his son)... For you to even know that 2face is really a 2faced mofo, he shook the governor with his two hands and the other guy with one hand. 2baba has always been a political musician. He licks politicians' asses like a greedy toddler. After all these years, he's not into any charity works. He is just after political connection. Anyway, he's the most overrated singer ever to come out of Africa. He's lucky he's been performing in the midst of more awful artists |

Crime › Re: Nigerian Boy, Timothy Oyebola Shot Dead In The US by Olodo24: 7:23pm On Sep 22, 2018 |
Gossipninja: A 16-year-old boy playing basketball at a Brooklyn park was fatally shot in the head Friday, authorities said. Timothy Oyebola lived in Jamaica, Queens and attended Brooklyn Ascend HS.
He was likely not the intended target, police said. He was in the Chester Playground in Brownsville at 4 p.m. when he was gunned down. “As they were playing, shots were fired into the park. The shots were fired quite a distance away — over 100 feet,” said NYPD Deputy Chief Michael Kemper.
The high-achieving academic teen and his sister came to the US from Lagos in 2013. “My son was a calm, quiet, obedient child, ” grieving dad David Oyebola told The Post. “He’s intelligent. He loved sports and basketball. Very ambitious. He’s a boy who had a brighter future. He was constantly going for what he wanted to do in life. He wanted to become a doctor or an engineer.”

that home button made me love the iPhones so much. And yes, their names are off. As for their prices, I accepted it long time ago that Apple phones aren't for the poor and needy.
Again the removal of home button and their given names don't make sense. We need something highly attractive. Samsung need to drop the Galaxy thing and rename their future phones. The Galaxy phones all have basically same design sef.
funny how I feel that Infinix, Meizu, Gionee, Elephone and even tecno has better designs than the Samsung Galaxy devices. At least, the designs of the phones from those manufacturers differ |
Phones › Re: See Why Nigerians Won't Buy Chinko Phones (infinix, Itel And Tecno) Again! by Olodo24: 10:51pm On Sep 11, 2018 |
askifa1: So, imagine you go to a big mobile shop just two months ago bought a device, which you begin to feel fly about only for your new flagship to be mistaken for another brand, because that brand had made a release that clones your device and then it becomes a case of your flagship either being sold at a cheaper rate or under another brand’s name or with a little upgrade by this new brand, which still sells it lesser than you originally got your device.
Well, this is not new. This year the global mobile market has grown to experience more on the evolution of mobile cloning either in terms of hardware or software components in terms of new flagships.
Interestingly, this year when Apple’s $1000 mobile monster, the iPhone X was released, the reception of the device broke the tech space everyone spoke about the device and its notch screen technology, which was its major selling point.
However, as the year went on and mobile brands began to unveil their new high-end flagships it became clearer than most brands hitched their designs and patents on the iPhone and this brought about a new mobile trend.
A disruptive technological design for mobile devices. Every mobile manufacturer goes in a wilder bid to gain and engage its target audience with the Notch screen technology, which first got wide respect on the iPhone X.
Recently, Chinese brand Oppo released its F9 flagship and in all honesty, I must say that like the literary patient dog Oppo waited, cloned the notch device and made it way better than Apple had designed its device.
The best of mobile cloning has not been reached as American mobile brand Motorola also joined the cloning race with the release of its P 30, which appears more like a fusion of ideas from two top mobile brands. P30 came as a fusion of Huawei’s P20 and Apple’s iPhone X.
For these brands, buyers might not begin to throw tantrums as they have done with respect to TECNO Mobile, itel and Infinix Mobility Limited, because most of the time the number of releases by this brand is not in a rolling spill as the three Chinese brand’s mentioned.
In my own opinion, the number of flagships by these three brands is quite outrageous and it leaves the average tech reviewer with the economic question and comparison of the place for preference over, the in your face tactics, which has been employed by these three brands over the years.
Well, more Nigerians are beginning to think like me, they have begun to express their repressed emotion at these mobile brand manufacturers and their seemly hard threshold on the Nigerian mobile market.
For me I think, the recycling of ideas in terms of design and update by these brands is not a new thing to do as most mobile brands do it on a global scale, but I totally think it is a slap on the intelligence of the everyday Nigerian who works hard to earn money only to serve a device similar to his or her previous device re-cased and renamed.
Here are some reactions by Nigerians on the trend in the country, which leaves the economy as some sort of mobile dunghill from the tons of mobile shipments that flood the market by these three brands.
https://www.askifa.ng/wp-content/uploads/2018/09/WhatsApp-Image-2018-09-10-at-9.32.25-AM.jpeg
Infinix has been up on the Stylus pen for its Note series, but I do not understand why the brand did not do a quick follow-up on its Note 5 flagship until Samsung’s Note 9 hit the market selling its Stylus pen as one of the major features of the brand’s new flagship.
Well, I would wait for getting a hold on the Infinix Note 5 to see what the device feels like and if it could be as close or is extremely close to the output of the Note 9, which does a lot and more on the device.
SOURCE >>> https://www.askifa.ng/nigerians-seem-to-be-tired-of-tecno-mobile-itel-and-infinix-mobility-limited/ honestly, ayam not understanding o. The only thing I dislike is the way Android releases new version steadily and making previously released phones look outdated. one version a year won't be bad. I don't like upgrading |
