our boys cannot go far in this competition cos they are very wasteful but am very impressed with ajagun's improvement and dexterity in the mid-field. he will go far if he keeps working hard. i also like the left full back madu, he's a future super eagles guy. obu's selection has not been the best for a competition of this magnitude. |

my assessment of the first eleven: Enyeama - still has it but showing signs of depreciation 4.5/10 Ambrose - not always my favourite, was the weak link in the defence but can still improve 3/10 Echiejele - very impressive outing, improving very fast and growing in confidence goin forward 7/10 Oboabona - impressive, improving with every match and confident with attackers, future very promising 7/10 Omeruo - young but confident and composed, has lot to do more but very vital to 9jas team 7/10 Musa - naive, immature but has promising future, very hard-working and loyal 5.5/10 Ogude - upcoming and has room to improve but needs more play time 5/10 Mba - flip-flop player, disappears most time in the game but can be dangerous whenever he wakes up 5/10 Mikel - 9jas outstanding player in the tournament, composed, mature, great passer of the ball, mid-field marshal 9/10 Ideye - fair game, lots of misses, little effect on opponents defence, has a lot to do 4.5/10 Akpala - very low performance, hardly had a shot at goal 3/10 |
oboabona is coming of age and echiejele is improving greatly |
i can see our team improving every time i watch them. so much bad-mouthing but the boys have improved a lot though we still have a lot to do |
Echiejele has really impressed me in this competition, his attacks and defense have been worth hailing. meanwhile, Ambrose has not shown any sign of a good right full back but he came with a couple of crosses today compared to previous matches. ideye, though not so ripe but is a promising attacker and has a lot of room to improve. this matches should help Keshi determine and see the loop holes in his team, put sentiments aside and call up relevant players to fill in the gaps. note that this is our first competitive matches outside africa and this is the real test for our rebuilding team |
hunting rifles? were they planning to kill and export all our busy meat in 9ja with that load of ammunitions? these guys are deluded and should be punished |
the 9ja U21 were out of steam after scoring the 2nd goal. seem they are slow starters and the back 4 are not coordinated at all. they will go far if the back 4 up their game. |
thumb up for these gallant youths who have taken destiny into their hands to salvage their communities from terrorism. may God continue to guide and protect them. |
All you blaming the eagles should not quickly forget that these guys travelled all through only to arrive brazil few hours before this match. |
is anyone seeing that the pitch is in a very bad state. you can see as ball bounce almost everywhere on the pitch. the pitch is not allowing free flowing football, very sad |
so how do we know it belongs to him? |
who is she? ![]() |
what is a matrimonial bed? ![]() A bed is a bed. the bed has nothing to do with the act cos adultery is adultery wherever whenever ![]() |
this headline is misleading, as if Nigeria was isolated for punishment. |
payless: Look at dirt everywhere on the floor.thats the reason for the ban of "nylon" bags starting next year, at least it will reduce such ugly scenes in 9ja |
crazy but very cool but....... |
my singular question to the governor: "did you tell the people during your campaign for second term that after they had voted for you, okada riders would be banished from Benin?" adams should have told them so and lets see if he would have stepped into that government house for the second term which he's enjoying now. 'they will beg you for power and turn to use it against you' ![]() |
On my way to work this morning, i saw an accident between two taxis at the military cemetery along the airport road. this spot is one of the illegal bus-stops where commuters prefer to the designated bus-stop which is just a few meters away. i saw a lady sitting up on the floor, probably an occupant of one of the taxis involved in the accident. i wonder why the FRSC and VIO personnels are unconcerned about people crossing that busy highway at their peril! they should force people to use the bus-stops and pedestrian bridges along this busy road. how long will Nigerians keep flinging their lives carelessly on this road. God bless Nigeria |
kaa kool fun won |
Tony Spike: Well, I can speak of South Africa because I was there for quite some time. Over 90% of the electricity delivered to consumers there is done via underground cabling distribution. I was at a part of Zambia recently and it seem that area made use of underground cabling too. So, I think that's a plus for those countries.the only unfortunate thing if the system is going to be put into the right standard, its going to be very expensive and its the consumers that will eventually suffer it |
just imagine this house on wheels |
Afam4eva: I've been wanting to ask this question too. I'm always sad whenever the weather starts changing because i know if it starts raining, they'll most likely take the light.just imagine! whenever it rains in my area, you are sure of outage at least for 24 hours, so terrible |

Tony Spike: Tell your government to stop using overhead distribution lines. Developed countries mostly make use of underground distribution lines, hence, there is little or no power outages during rainfall. 'does this means that some African countries with stable power supply during rainfalls deploy underground cabling in all installations? but most places in Abuja use underground cables yet there outages during rainfall ![]() |
Is this the way power failures during rains occur in other countries in Africa? Even in the so called capital territory Abuja, everytime it rains there must be power outage, why? |
we still have some work to do especially the attack and left full back. keshi has done a good work but the team is still under re-construction |
ignis: This man still have his right. He is not an animal for crying out loud. Why must he be humiliated this way? What he did was wrong if the story is anything to go buy. The fact still remains that he doesn't deserve this animal treatment. The girl and his so called neighbors should be brought to book for taking laws into their dirty hands.is the guy your father? if the girl and his so called neighbors should be brought to book for taking laws into their dirty hands then the criminal should be de-balled and hanged |
President Goodluck Jonathan has given a fresh mandate to the military to end the insurgent Boko Haram sect within the next three months to enable the federal government execute projects meant for the Northeast geo-political zone which are allegedly stalled by the violence in the region.i laughed so hard that i could not stop, this our presido sef is a clown. so whats he trying to say? |
