Family › Baby Flushed Down Toilet; Mother Claims Baby Fell Into The Toilet After Birth! by oloriooko(op): 2:53pm On May 30, 2013
The mother of the newborn baby boy flushed down a toilet in China watched in secret as rescuers plucked him alive from a sewer pipe.

The 22-year-old woman is believed to have raised the initial alarm but only confessed to police after they searched her rented room and found toys and blood-stained toilet paper, the Chinese state news agency reported.

Police initially said they were treating the case of as possible attempted homicide, but it was not immediately clear whether the mother would face any criminal charges.

A police officer said she had hidden her pregnancy and claimed the baby fell into the lavatory after she unexpectedly gave birth. ‘The woman was on the scene during the entire rescue process ... and admitted she was the mother when we asked her.’

He said police were still investigating whether she had any ‘malicious intentions’ before deciding on charges.

The single woman, a tenant in the building, told police she could not afford an abortion and secretly delivered the child Saturday afternoon in the toilet.

She said the newborn slipped into the sewer line and that she alerted her landlord of the trapped baby after she could not pull the child out, Zhejiang News said.

The landlord of the building said there were no signs that the birth took place in the restroom and she had not been aware of any recent pregnancies among her tenants.

But the mother told police she cleaned up the toilet after the delivery and that she had managed to hide her pregnancy by wearing loose clothes and tightly wrapping her abdomen.

Nurse Zhang Songhe told the Daily Mail that the mother of the baby was with him in hospital. ‘I don’t know the reason she abandoned the baby.

‘We’re going to take care of the baby. We are not sure when the baby can be discharged.’ She added: 'When the baby arrived here, he was in critical condition.

'We suspect he has a fracture in the top right section of his skull. But now everything has been stabilized.'

It's very simple: set the certificate on fire; if it remains intact after five minutes, then it's super authentic but if consumed by the fire, it's fake grin grin grin.

Actually, have never come across NYSC functional web site, guess you have to go to any office near you. Cheers

Health › One Of The World's Fattest Men Has Died At The Age Of 39 by oloriooko(op): 10:14am On May 24, 2013
ONE of the world's fattest men has died at the age of 39 – weighing a staggering 64 stone (407 kg).

Ricky Naputi piled on the pounds thanks to a gut-busting diet of 10,000 calories a day.

He grew so fat he was left bedridden in his home on the Pacific island of Guam for FIVE YEARS – being cared for around the clock by his wife Cheryl.

Ricky was offered life-saving surgery and a TV crew from US network TLC who followed him for three years as he battled to lose enough weight to travel to a hospital in the US.

But he ran out of time and died in November 2012 – before the footage of his plight could be aired.

Ricky's story was finally told this week in a moving documentary that charted his weight battle and his touching relationship with Cheryl.

Politics › Re: British-born Michael Adeboloja Labelled A Nigerian: Why? by oloriooko(m): 8:09am On May 24, 2013
You are not a Nigerian cos you were born by Nigerian but born by Nigerian parent and raised in Nigeria, that's what make you a Nigerian.

This wicked Muslim bigot is NOT a Nigerian cos though born by Nigerian parent was never raised here so he cannot tell me he's a Nigerian. I bet you, the guy does not even know where Nigeria is on the map talk more of locating his village or family house.

If the guy is bad, he's a Nigerian but if he's good, he's a Briton; nonsense huh
The guy is their own and their problem, they should live with it chikena
Car Talk › Re: Car Theft On Increase In Abuja, Be Careful! by oloriooko(op): 7:54am On May 24, 2013
lomomike: I have a case I'm presently standing in as a witness. I was taking a famliy member in her highlander from phase 2 site 1, Lagos street, kubwa to her office in February this year when I tried to stop and make some purchase. Some hausa boys who were already high on some cheap stuffs came surrounded the car and started to force the door handle inorder to gain access to the car and make away with it but a patrol team came as I raised alarm and chase them. One of the idiot was caught while 3 escaped. Kubwa and other satellite towns in abuja and its environs is now a den of car snatchers that perpetuate their ungodly acts in broad day light while armed. Pls fellow NL'ers DON'T leave any bag or valuable item in ur car when u are leaving the car when u visit a place that have securitymen pls be friendly and familiar with them n thus park ur car close to their vicinity, ALWAYS turn your steering till it locks, DON'T keep original document of ur car in the car instead makee copies of the document nd leave in the car, invest in a car tracking device (it baffles me why would a person invest 1million in a car yet ignore a valuable safety device of 100k approx.), invest in extra security locks such as steerting+ pedal locks, aftermarket immobilizers and car alarm systems, park ♈ōϋя̅ vehicles in lighted areas, when driving pls DON'T stop to pick up strangers and observe drivers in front, by ♈ōϋя̅ side and behind u f®я signs of danger, pls if possible avoid night/in desolate areas driving and if u must drive, carry an adult that u know very well, insure ur vehicle, most importantly Pray fervently that none of u or ♈ōϋя̅ family, friends, colleagues or luved ones fall victims. Thanks
Thanks a mill for the loads of advise, quite enlightening and informative.
Now that many BH guys are on the run out of Borno state, some of them are already in Abuja, so please be extra cautious.

Politics › Re: MEND Calls-Off Planned Attack On Muslims, Mosques by oloriooko(m): 2:20pm On May 23, 2013
Maxymilliano: The Movement for the Emancipation of the Niger Delta (MEND) Wednesday called off its plans to attack mosques and assassinate Islamic clerics to avenge the attack on Christians and churches by Boko Haram militants.

The group, in a statement yesterday by its spokesman, Gbomo Jomo, said despite several provocative statements credited to some Muslim leaders, it had decided to call off the planned attack.

"Our planned attacks on mosques and other related agencies of religious intolerance have been called off due to the intervention of well-meaning Nigerians, religious bodies and the Nigerian government’s recent show of sincerity with the order to release from detention women, children, relatives and suspected Boko Haram members giving room for genuine dialogue.

"We have also heeded the appeal from Mr Henry Okah and Mr. Kingsley Kuku, Special Adviser to the President on Niger Delta Affairs. To these effects, the Movement for the Emancipation of the Niger Delta (M.E.N.D) hereby announces the suspension of “Operation Barbarossa” which was to have commenced from Friday, May 31, 2013, with immediate effect. We use this opportunity to call for the release of Henry Okah and others in detention over the October 01, 2010, twin car bomb blast," the statement said.
