Tofa is entitled to his own opinion. His statement isn't justifying the annulment of the election, but only telling us that dwelling on the past will do us no good, we should instead face the present challenges and make the future better.

you made a point but does remembering the day stop the nation from focusing on the problems at hand? Remembering the day is not same as dwelling on the past. if he (tofa) had won and his election annulled, would he be saying this?

nep2ra: Does this mean Nigeria is out of the competition?

yea

Ebenezerk2: we lost gallantly

did you watch the match at all?
gallantly ko lacaserally ni

if the bulk of our team to represent us in the world cup is from this current team, then we are done for, we will definitely be the weeping team.
in 3 games, we conceded 5 goals and scored 1 goal, very poor performance

this is what happens to you when you mess up with the eagles

Why is Nigeria like this? Why do we always wait for the latter end to get serious? Now we have to start punching calculator to know if we would qualify

The boys voice though good but raw and promising, a few months of rigorous trainings will put him on the highway of the greats.
He is what is called raw talent; see the angel in the rock

Provie: Is Nigeria playing today? Is Mikel & Okocha in d pitch? How many goal keepers are manning our post? I need answers urgently plz!

yea they are playing, we have 18 goalies and GEJ is one of them.
o boy how did you escape from that mental hospital

babseg: Why were u condemning them

you need to know the difference btw criticism and condemnation, seem you are mixing the two up.
stop being sentimental, the team has a lot to do if they would make an impact in the world cup

babseg: i really like ur analysis. pls help me tell olorioko

did you read and understand my post at all?

babseg: pls appreciate these boys. forget abt the goal what were the brasilian boys played? we were in control most of the times

the tournament is to help the coaching crew note areas of weaknesses and correct them.
the attack is blunt and since you know that your opponents have won their last 3 games, you've got to take every chance that comes your way but the boys seem not to know what to do

seem 9ja is only going to this world cup to make up the numbers. i do not see anything special in this team, think Obuh has plateaued, he needs a better challenge aside these age-group teams

cannot pin-point one outstanding player in this 9ja team

where are these 9ja boys from sef, seem no good mid-field ball holder/distributor

please will a phcn staff on this forum explain to me why there is power failure whenever its about to rain or it rains in 9ja? is our power system installations so fragile that they cannot withstand thunder storms or lightening? it really baffles me

be like say Obuh got plenty work todo on this team or else na el-rufai bus dem go take pack goals come back home

A Port Harcourt High Court has stopped the PDP from taking further action against the Governor Chibuike Amaechi as the Chairman of the Nigeria Governors Forum pending hearing on the suit challenging the suspension by the Party.

Justice M. Ogbuji of the State High Court issued the order following the preliminary application brought by Governor Amaechi’s Team of Lawyers led by the a Senior Advocate of Nigeria A. Olujumi.

Justice Ogbuji ordered the PDP to maintain the status quo in the matter and appear before it on the 6th of June 2013.

The Court also directed Governor Amaechi to serve the PDP the necessary court processes and also make publications in National Dailies.

Meanwhile the lead Counsel for Governor Amaechi Akin Olujimi told newsmen that they are in Court to ask the Court to set aside the suspension of Governor Amaechi by the PDP.

“There was a purported suspension of His Excellency by the PDP, we want it quashed, so we came to Court, and of course you do not decide that it at the preliminary stage like this, you can only ask for order to stop them, so the preliminary order is to stop them from doing anything further based on that suspension” he said.

Some of Governor Amaechi’s lawyers said the suspension is done in bad faith.
