Foreverdope: Canadian show host and podcaster, Carlos Juico has said that there’s a theory which suggests that the Korean smash hit series, Squid Game is connected to Nigeria
Speaking during Jumpers Jump Podcast with co-host, Gavin Ruta, he said he received a DM from someone who revealed to him that there are symbols from Squid Game which are also present in Nigeria
According to Carlos, the fact that the shape symbols (square, circle and triangle) which was predominantly seen in the series, is also on the Naira notes is one coincidence that should not be overlooked
The show host also pointed out that the players in the game wore green jumpsuits, which is very similar to the green uniforms worn by prisoners in some Correctional facilities across Nigeria
Explaining further, he said that the series might have been subtly trying to expose the societal imbalance between the rich and poor in Nigeria
Weak theories and total clout....,those symbols represent the real squid game which used to be popularly known and played by locals of Korea. And the uniform....,Cmon!!! find another way to amass traffic
od501: I'm not from Anambra, but I have stayed there long enough to know what happens where. I'm very sure you have not gone there yourself, so why say things you have no idea
sammyscholar: Oga, did you see the picture and inscriptions well? They are a couple who are just celebrating their 5th wedding anniversary, using the prison dressing and inscription as a concept.
They are not serving any jail term. Always observe before you contribute. What has just occurred on this thread shows that majority of nairalanders are not clinical in observation and commentary, and the reason I stopped taking people's submission on this platform seriously.
Nairaland is no longer what it used to be! We now have a few deep minds on the platform!
Guy calm your ass down, if you Check the beginning of my comment you'll see I started with "very funny" . Not everyone is stupid, I read the post, and I saw the pictures, I understood the context of the picture. So go back to that my comment and read the literature meaning and not the literal meaning ( like a dum ass).

Omicron007: Hello beautiful people. Let me make this short and precise as usual
I don't even know how to put this. But let me say that I have been getting emotionally attached to married women/single mothers and I am worried about it. I am in my early twenties.
Fast forward to my current case. There is this lady that works in the same department with me in a firm. She is married but her husband is outside town. He works and has been away for almost three months. The lady is very young though she has five kids. She has a banging physique despite birthing five kids.
She prepares my own food specially and brings it to the office. She calls me frequently after work and she covers or stands for me a lot. There are instances where I have missed briefings, but she held sway for me and made me escape query letters.
We are very close and she confides in me a lot. Whenever I tell her I am going to see my female friends on a weekend, she is not happy. Instead, she says that I am not getting close to her enough because she is married.
I have promised to take her out and she has been reminding me constantly. I have been faking different excuses for procastination purposes.
To be honest, if she was single, I could have done the needful by now. But I am constrained by several factors. I don't want to have issues with her and I want to be in her good books.
I need advice please.
Recieve sense and get emotionally detached, this is the only remedy to your problem

travelwaka: Ghana is one of our closest neighbours. We share so many things in common. It is also an English speaking country. Though the capital is pretty small but organised. I love the serenity in this country. People seems to be generally nice.
fergie0o1: Cambodian leader Hun Sen ordered the country's military to destroy any US weaponry or dump it in warehouses on Friday, after Washington imposed an arms embargo over human rights concerns and Phnom Penh's close ties with China.
The US on Wednesday imposed an arms embargo on Cambodia, citing concerns about human rights and corruption in the southeast Asian nation as well as China's activities there.
But Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen downplayed the quality of US weapons and equipment on Friday.
In November, Washington sanctioned two Cambodian officials for corruption allegations linked to a US-funded naval base.
Cambodia's longtime leader is one of China's closest partners in Asia, and his Government has been dismantling facilities at the Ream base that were built partly with American money and hosted to US exercises.
Beijing has been increasingly exerting territorial claims in the South China Sea and East China Sea, raising tensions with numerous Asian nations, but Cambodia has increasingly appeared to be an ally.
Sammydanny: Popular Nigerian cleric, Pastor Kingsley Okonkwo has candidly told unmarried people about the complexities of marriage.
In a video he posted on his Instagram page, the pastor explained that marriage was not made to make people happy but was designed to make people better. He said marriage is a place you go to give, not a place to go to receive.
Pastor Kingsley explained that people must take care of things making them feel unhappy and unfulfilled before getting married and not hope that getting married will solve all their problems.
Foreverdope: A Nigerian lady has shared a heartbreak story in a subtle and not so detailed video which is making rounds online
She decided to travel to the state where her boyfriend resides in order to surprise him.
In the video she shared on TikTok, the lady showed herself at the airport set to board a flight to go meet him
According to her, she was nervous because it was the first time she would be trying to pay him a surprise visit
Her concerns became valid, because it ended in premium tears upon getting to his place
Although she did not reveal if he broke up with her or if she caught him with another girl, but the concluding part of the video shows her crying after leaving his place
