Travel to Abuja, submit at the VFS, stay and wait in Abuja for collection mail, that should takes less than 5days.

Then after you receive your passport, book your ticket right away.

You can check IRCC website for info regarding 'Visitor record'. Its a type of VV extension application. It has its rules and eligibility.

Generally, they will have to apply and indicate why they need to stay another 6 months and prove that they have the funds to support their stay in Canada (this will mean proof of finances, employment, or that of the spouse/partner). What about the children? Why are they out of school for 12months?

They can't be supported by Canada as they are temporary visitors so how do they intend to manage this?

That 20kCAD would be better spent on a course that allows your family's legal presence in Canada as the idea of paying for LMIA sponsored jobs smells like a scam and might mean they end up losing that money.

I was wondering how someone will even relocate a whole family of 5 for once on a visit visa, is that not madness?

I met a family of 5 today in London.
Next month will be their 6months in Canada.
They have tried all their possible best to change to work permit to no avail.

An immigration expert is requesting for 20k cad from them for LMIA job.

He's planning to extend his visitor visa stay for another 6months inside Canada 'pls is this possible?'

Because I'm just confused, I don't know the kind of advice to give.....

Yes thats very possible too but taking that kind of chances look risky to me since he/she already differ and a new loa is already issued.

I have transit through Dublin before, thou we did not get off from the plane.
A friend of mine transit through Dublin earlier this year with 3hrs layover and no issue at all.

I just submitted my application on August 10th. There was a space for it . I signed in through the GC key and there was a section to upload digital photo. They even gave the specification of the photos by the question mark next to it

Lagos to Istanbul airport ( 1st stop, layover 1hour, 40minutes) then move from Istanbul to Dublin (2nd stop, layover 3hours 30minutes, self transfer, collect and recheck baggage) then move from Dublin to her destination with WestJet. @kayceeskay. Before you submit your passport, inform IRCC about your new admission letter via webform and emails, make sure they acknowledge it, tracker visa details will definitely change once they receive your new admission, then submit passport for your visa.
That's the best way to go, don't take chances.
Airline staff in Nigeria or transiting country might not allow you to board with a student visa expiring in less than 30days.
