So, indirectly, the agent is telling the applicant that if you apply in 2023, you can expect your visa to be approved by 2030 😊. but the agent format may be right at-least Canada visa ban last 5 years so by 7th year the ban go don expire 😂😂😂

I currently have about 2.5M in the account and I got this message from them this morning asking me to defend my bank statement within 7 days. What do I do please

I won't advice you to top up account, since you are a business woman, they don't expect your fund to stay idle.

My question to you before advice is that....

Do you use agent or you filled and submitted all your documents yourself?

How much do you claimed you earned monthly and does it correspond with the acct submitted?

Do you submitted a savings or business account?

My naira account was also in the same pdf I sent them. I spend in naira so of course that's not the only statement I attached. Pls Stop trying to defend country that is clearly finding anything tangible to issue refusal. They obviously don't people from our side again.

And I didn't share my Timeline to be receiving correction based on what I did or didn't do wrong. I shared it for those still awaiting a decision. I have been following immigration news for years and I know when a particular route is close to or nearly impossible. If you like climb mountains to submit a perfect application, they will still deny as they wish. And dem no send Nigerians or whatever economic problems or useless leaders we have.

What you guys don’t know is ircc look beyond your account balance. They also use other factors to determine your eligibility. You can reapply and package your application well. If you need a professional travel service, I do offer one at a low cost. It’s up to you.

I don't know if this is peculiar to Canada, but if you're traveling as a newbie, make sure you go to the airport with an invitation letter from your host because they won't allow you to check in if you can't provide the letter.

Yesterday, they refused to let my brother check in until he was able to show them a letter.

I guess your brother is going for visiting, so invitation letter is necessary but if going for tourism then hotel reservation is mandatory

Canada no longer accepts paper applications. They accept any type of bank statement online, whether it's electronic or printed. If it's a printed paper given by the bank, then it has to be rescanned. Did the agent print the electronic bank statement and then rescan it? If this is what the agent did, the printing and rescanning process could have caused the statement to lose its quality and become blurry. If that's the case, then the agent is not a professional.

Go back to the bank and print the exact same statement that you submitted, and get a letter from the bank confirming that the statement is authentic then add ur own letter that the statement is orginal that it was send to ur email by the bank which u reprint and attached to your application. Merge all documents together because the space for additional documents cannot upload many files. If you mess this up, it could result in a ban. So, be smart with it.

Agent is aware of what he did.
He understand uploading the electronic copy is the way forward but went ahead to print it out and probably make some editing.
I don't trust that agent at all.

He should not try to send any new statement without knowing 100% what the agent previously submitted. Only by a miracle will he escape the ban, which is why I do not like the idea of using agents. From my observation, it is due to fund for bank statements that people patronize agents. But in this case, you have your bank statement, so why do you need an agent? Probably the agent didn't use the original bank statement and thought the amount was small, so he used a typewriter to boost it.but if the agent is honest and acutally upload the orginal statment then the guy have a good case and ircc will reconsider the case as error and hopeful issue him a visa.

Your agent has already manipulated your bank statement.
He will never admit that he submitted oluwole statement for you.

To convince the VO now will be very difficult because if you later send the genuine statement and it does not tally with the previously submitted one then I'm scared what your application outcome might be 😞😞😞

Dont come to Canada without money and depend on miracle. When you talk, they will say you don't want their progress. With all my qualifications, network and smartness, e no easy for me sef, i had to come back to Nigeria. I might go back again, just maybe. I am even advising one guy now that his wife left because they couldn't pay the $8k balance school fees and another man deceived her with fake account balance. They arrived Canada as student and dependent only August 2023 as student and dependant, now both are asylum claimants, potentially failed claimants. I have advised him to tell immigration to send them back to Naija cos now [b]he has sold all his properties, relocated to Canada and within 10 months, lost his wife and kids, broke and depresse[/b]d.

That person need to be monitored

I once had this kind of fraud case in my account with TD Canada trust bank in Canada in 2015.

Amount then was 50cad, I went to the bank immediately but the bank couldn't do anything, they told me the money was debited from unknown source.
I was advised by them to change my ATM card and also change my mobile app password.

I just moved on...
