You will need a VISA/Mastercard/American Express($) to make purchases. I presume the ones issued by Nigerian banks will work. Anyone tried opening an apple id with a nigerian visa/master card?

Are you using the supplied 10W plug or a laptop? The fastest way is to use the 10W plug as your laptop's USB may not supply enough power to charge it.

You know what guys? Let's stop all the criticism. Let each one go back to the bible and set a standard from there. I had to take this same decision a few years back. I crosscheck everything done in churches today in the bible and if it is not there, i move on. I have learnt not to criticize them though. I just do my thing according to what the bible says.

For instance?
1. speaking in tongues in churches,  paul said he would rather they speak what people can understand and do the tongues at home(in private).

2. Women not covering their hair when praying. ,  paul talk about this too. Women should have their hair covered when praying even if their hair long reach ground.

3. Tithe,  I didn't see anywhere from Acts to 3rd John where tithes was mentioned,  i may be wrong,  but i "think" it's an old testament thing.

4. Any church/pastor focussing on money/health etc and not on holiness/living right with God/,  is not helping matters because what we need right now is  revival of character not money.

So many ,  but let's look at the bible and start from there instead of my Papa/Daddy etc says this. Don't get me wrong though, all i am saying is do some checks.

I have often asked myself too why the need for 4 jets. Then i asked myself, most of us have 2 cars, maybe 3. One for the man, and another for the wife and maybe a third for the kids.

Let's not be quick to castigate them. They may really need it. And they may not. Whatever we say here will not change anything anyway. They will probably never get to read this.

In life, i am learning not to cast the first stone cos we are all "guilty". That's a big lesson Jesus taught us.

If you have an M Class, E class, etc,  then you are also guilty. Why not buy a small and good enough car and use the rest to help the poor. Better still, why not take local transportation which is cheaper than owning a car rather than acquire a small and good enough car. We are all called to take the gospel to the world starting from your neighborhood.

Having said that, MOGs can justify going out of nigeria to preach the gospel since Jesus left his own town when he was rejected.

But, , honestly, i dunno, they may be justified to having private jets just like we all aspire to have our private cars/homes. Afterall, the guys in the rural areas who have "private" bicycles will wonder why you need a "private car". Just like you are wondering why they need "private" jets.

reports I am getting suggests iPad 2 scarcity and consequently cost will be worse in June. Foxconn cannot meet up. You guys should leave Ade_mark alone, he will get an iPad 2 soon, maybe when iPad 3 is released. I dunno why you have insult folks trying to make a living. If you don't like their prices, just skip them and move on.

Texazzpete, lekside44, and Apple were spot on. Where are all the other guys? Time is the true test of every product.
It turned out the iPad sent net books packing and cut deeply in PC sales.
Where is the slate from MS? Every company now wants to make an iPad killer.
Apple has turned the table over MS and Google in profits and revenue.
And now we have the ipad2. It's dual core and faster than the fastest supercomputer of the 80's.
Give it time and it will completely replace a PC. I hardly use my Mac/PC these days. I have everything on my iPad except when I need to do some advanced geeky stuffs.

How do you sell the UK App store gift cards? I prefer the US but if not, i will go for the UK's.

It depends on what you want. If you want am OS that can run most commonly used programs (photoshop, MS Office, etc) then Windows is about the only option.

Of course there's also OSX but its notoriously unsecure and Macs are usually too expensive anyway. You could probably get a more powerful PC for half the price of a Mac.

Better variants of the "commonly used" programs run on OSX but you just can't find them in Otigba(pirated) like their windows counterparts. But you can buy them online.

OSX has Unix in it's hood and considered the most advanced OS. I don't even run an antivirus on my Mac, and it doesn't crash as often as Windows.

I guess Macs are better priced now. You can get a good one for a thousand bucks. Most of these PCs are plastics anyway. And you can run Windows on a Mac too.

Back to the poster's ??. Linux is better, that's why critical systems opt for it. Windows will just get you into more trouble.
