This is how to identify a good leader.......... Open-minded transparent, grateful and happy to be identified with his people unlike here, where our leaders thought themselves to be demigods, too big to be transparent or grateful or be identified with his people. For example, Buhari spent almost three quarters of a year in a foreign hospital and up till today, no any Nigerian is aware of the the type of ailment he suffered from, nobody knows the exact hospital and no one can guess right how much was spent, except perhaps his few close family members. Another example, Aba kyari was diagnosed for covid19 not long ago, till now, nothing has been heard about whether he's recovering or not, nothing whatsoever about him till now. What kind of leaders are that? Anyways, quicker recovery to you, Boris Johnson. Explorers, well done bro! |
Hopefully, this is how the number will keep declining until none again. |
madridguy:Huvid-20 is real as well |
sherylbakky:Not only you my dear, I'm damn tired. This don do, abeg, covid19 come dey go. You've overstay already |
20 states already! This thing sha want to spread to every state of the country, na wa o, I'm just beginning to be afraid, especially now that the core Northern states are involved. My fear is how will those almajiris observe social distancing, how can they be washing hands regularly and do they even know what's called sanitizer? Who will help tell them, who will they obey? This is seriously serious! Lord, have mercy |
Sensie:Are you doubting the existence of this virus? It is real, bro, it is real. Watch, listen and read international news, it is real! |
19 states already! Lord, come and take control. Let's conquer this pandemic, please. We beg you. You promised in your word that if we call on you and forsake our sin that you will heal our land, please, come and heal our land oh Lord. |
I don't actually know what else to say except that the Lord should take control and help us. We're powerless and clueless, God, just help us in this country. This virus must not enter the core North o, or else, na serious gobe! |
cococandy:Actually, men are emotional and they know it but wants to always appear strong and sound more logical to give impression that they're in charge. Not their fault though, it's their nature, remember the first man, Adam was exactly like that and transferred it to them. Good? I don't know, but it has always been helping and working for them. |
Mustack:Thanks for confirming my point. Affliction shall not arise the second time for you. Peace. |
cococandy:Have you ever heard women threatening that they want to commit suicide because their husbands cheated on them? But I've seen and heard so many men who did. I've even seen more than one man who actually killed himself because his wife cheated on him. So, who's more emotional then? Abeg, we're all human jare, with blood and water flowing through us all. No Superman anywhere. Peace. |
One thing I'm sure of after this pandemic is that, so many things will not remain the same. So many changes will take place ranging from individual families to every counrtry and globally too. |
freecocoahubby:For a while now, I've been seeing how you usually talk down on women. Your perception of women is so so demeaning, maybe it has to do with the circle of women you roll with or the experience you once have with any of them. I don't know. I'm just not comfortable with such generalisation. Please, try and change the circle of females you surround yourself with and discover that not all women fit your generalised perception of them. Honestly, there are good women, though, they may not be as many as expected but try to be specific while describing them, remember, not all men are angels too. Thanks. |
We shall definitely conquer this covid19 very very soon. As the number of those confirmed today reduced, so shall it be declining till there's no more. If you believe, say amen. |
Makavelli25:I haven't even seen any post where the admin has openly appreciated explorers, and that's not a good way to encourage someone like him who's instrumental to having huge members here. Anyways, God bless you @explorers. |
@op, so, if your spouse now say ok o, him dey horney, he wan do, wetin go be the response o? Let me guess......... Haaaaa! Honey, have you forgotten that today is Good Friday? Don't let us sin against God by having seks on the day Jesus was crucified o. Do you want to crucify Jesus the second time ni? Noooooo, me no fit do the do today o, e go be like say I dey disrespect my own Jesus o. Anybody can help me o, wetin go be the response o jare. Yeye op and his yeye friend. |
Nukilia:Honestly, explorers deserves to be paid/appreciated by the admin of this great forum. He's one of the people that always post reasonable, genuine, historical, educative and current news and information on this forum. He's one of the reasons some people still visit this forum for first hand information on what's happening and had happened globally, even with pictorial evidences. Well done my brother. You're appreciated. |
May their beautiful souls rest in perfect peace. God, please heal the world. This is becoming too much. Have mercy on us your creations. Explorers, you're appreciated! |
There's definitely something deep, very deep you don't know about that family. So, just face front and mind your business except if the said father is complaining to you. |
Men are too emotionally weak to forgive their cheating wives. |
okomile:It is already extended by seven days my dear, just brace up. |
There are 36 states with FCT in Nigeria, and the virus has already penetrated 16 states. Oh God! Take control. What exactly is happening? |
Haaaa! 22 ke! God have mercy o! I think the NCDC have now been directed to be releasing the numbers more than what they've been releasing before. And with the arrival of their Chinese Medical team, I'm afraid but I pray that whatever evil that is hidden in this their adamant invitation shall not materialize. |
scoundrel:You're right! |
scoundrel:Yes, we need solution to stop all this embarrassing shlt on this forum but from the information I've been privy to here, (don't know how far it's true), it seems moderator work here is volunteer work and if they (the moderators) should be blocking these beggars, I think that would be a full time job, because some monikers here have turned e-begging to full time job as you can see a moniker posting like 50 posts per day begging. So, won't moderators have time for themselves and other things again. It's just dicey but I agree that it's a problem we have to solve to return the sanity and normalcy we used to enjoy on this forum. |
https://www.nairaland.com/5776578/coronavirus-ill-giving-ten-persons https://www.nairaland.com/5775598/closed-mouth-may-soon-turn Go through these threads and see the entitlement mentality of our youths. Very shameful. |
@op, God bless you for this thread! This is exactly what I've been saying/typing on this forum and they've been tagging me wicked. It's entitlement mentality, one beggar on one of their begging threads here even posted that she has right to beg since she's a single mother of two, she even went as far as alleging that the giver hated her and that's why he's been giving to others and not giving to her, as if the giver is the one that impregnated her. Honestly, on NL, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and others, go and see how our youths have been embarrassing themselves and the country, begging up and down, posting account details up and down, it's honestly becoming irritating and annoying. Anytime I come across the beggings , I always SMH for them. Godliness with contentment is great gain. We all should learn to be contented with what we have. Nobody owes anyone anything. Stop selling your birthright because of a plate of porridge. A word is enough for the wise. |
This is seriously serious! May God have mercy on us globally. Weldone, explorer! |
God heal the world! My prayers are with them! Explorer, thumb up! |
RoyalBlak007:Don't fall for her blackmail, please! |
