One day, I went to *Genesis* park through *Exodus* road. On the way, I saw *Leviticus* recording the *Numbers* of people at *Deuteronomy*, while *Joshua* was waiting at the Beautiful gate for *Judges* to see *Ruth* calling loudly *"Samuel*, *Samuel*. At a stage, the *first and second Kings* of *Chronicles 1 & 2,* were coming to visit *Ezra*, *Nehemiah* and *Esther* for the misfortune of *Job* their brother. They started singing *Psalms* and teaching children *Proverbs* concerning *Ecclesiastes* and *Songs of Solomon*. This coincided with the period that *Isaiah* was engaged in *Jeremiah's* *Lamentations* together with *Ezekiel and Daniel* their friends. By that time, *Amos* and *Obadiah* were not around. Three days later, *Hosea*, *Joel* and *Jonah* travelled in the same ship with *Micah* and *Nahum* to Jerusalem. *Habakkuk* then visited *Zephaniah* who introduced him to *Haggai* a friend of *Zechariah* whose cousin is *Malachi*. Immediately after the tradition, *Mathew, Mark, Luke and John* got involved in *Acts* of the *Romans* who were behaving like the *1st Corinthians* group because the *2nd Corinthians* group were always at loggerheads with the *Galatians*. At that time too, they realized that the *Ephesians* and *Philippians* were close to the *Colossians*, and a suggestion for the *first Thessalonians* visit was made, and that on their *second Thessalonians* visit, they should first of all see the *first and second of the Timothy* brothers who had gone to the house of *Titus* to teach *Philemon* his younger brother how to read and write in *Hebrew*. On hearing this, *James* asked *Peter* twice to explain to him how the *three Johns* have disclosed this to *Jude* the *Revelations* of this journey thereafter. Enjoy your day! |

( Continue from Part 1) ... Furthermore, the initial objectives and programmes of action which were meant to have been implemented since the ascension to power of the Buhari Administration in January 1984 have been betrayed and discarded. The present state of uncertainty and stagnation cannot be permitted to degenerate into suppression and retrogression. We feel duty bound to use the resources and means at our disposal to restore hope in the minds of Nigerians and renew aspirations for a better future. We are no prophets of doom for our beloved country, Nigeria. We, therefore, count on everyone’s cooperation and assistance. I appeal to you, fellow countrymen, particularly my colleagues in arms to refrain from any act that will lead to unnecessary violence and bloodshed among us. Rest assured that our action is in the interest of the nation and the armed forces. In order to enable a new order to be introduced, the following bodies are dissolved forthwith pending further announcements: (a) The Supreme Military Council (b) The Federal Executive Council (c) The National Council of States. All seaports and airports are closed, all borders remain closed. Finally, a dusk to dawn curfew is hereby imposed in Lagos and all state capitals until further notice. All military commanders will ensure effective maintenance of law and order. Further announcements will be made in due course. God bless Nigeria. Brigadier Joshua Nimyel Dongoyaro

Sorry bro for your predicaments. Kindly let me contribute the little ideas I have about this... Acne or pimples is what had experienced in my teenage days. Besides, its bound to occur, but now it has gone. Solutions: 1. Ensure that you reduce the intake of fatty foods or cholesterol. 2. Never use your bathing sponge to wash your face when bathing, cos with this your are openings the skin pores to open for the spread of acne or pimples. Instead of sponge, use soap to rub your face. 3. And also don't use d hand used In pressing pimples to get in contact with other parts of your face, cos this gives room for the pimples to spread. 4. Lastly, visit a pharmacy and ask for good blood purifier ( in my case, I used SuperB Blood Purifier, I don't know if it still exist) Am sure that if you followed these simple steps, you will not experience acne or pimples again. Awaits your testimony. |

They are picky about materialistic things but not people. It is truly said that happiest people are born in September. Below are some traits about them: 1. Politely diplomatic- “Oh this dress will look lovely on you..say that you will not buy it plsss… I want it” Awww…how nicely they make you believe that! They are known for their straight and convincing approach in life. 2. Open minded and reasonable- No, everything is not fair in love and war! September borns can be really cool in difficult situations. Where people struggle between their inherited believes and today’s practicality, these people do what’s right and un-manipulative. Even if they don’t get to eat, they can survive on cups of Chai for the whole day at a stretch… Woah! 9. September borns are the happiest when they are in a relationship Not just love, but any kind of relationships makes them go alive… they cannot survive alone if lost in an Island. – For the first time, a 25 year old lady has been appointed care-taker chair-person in Nigeria – She’s been made the caretaker chair-person of Arugungu local government in Kebbi state – The people of Arugungu have rejected her appointments on various reasons It is a new feat in Nigeria; Rariya reports that a 25 year old lady has been appointed as a care-taker chair-person of Arugungu local government of Kebbi state. The young lady was appointed after the tenure of the past caretaker management had come to an end. The people of Argungu local government have voiced their rejection to the appointment of this young lady as the caretaker chairperson of the L.G., citing her age and lack of experience as reason. Yoruba Nollywood actress, Tonia Ferrari Okoro, has revealed how she had to strip for some actors who thought she had butt implants, just to prove that her bum is natural. The up and coming actress who’s born by a Cameroonian mother and a Delta state father told Vanguard recently, saying: “That will be when some actors accused me of wearing fake hips and bum. At first I thought it was a joke but they were dead serious about it. They went on and on about it that I had to prove it to them that I am all natural. So, I pulled down my jeans and showed them my naked bum. They were transfixed and could not talk for moments. I know I have a fresh and beautiful bum. It was so crazy I couldn’t believe I did what I did. Even the guys were confused. Don’t think I am wayward or something, I believe so much in decency but their accusation made me lose my head. I even told them to touch it but they stared at in disbelief The actress, who has done a couple of films that got top ratings in the industry is blessed with both great boobs and bum, but according to her, it is her bum that has caused her the major embarrassment of her life. www.vanguardngr.com

Jide Omokore, an ally to ex-Minister of Petroleum Resources Diezani Alison-Madueke, has reportedly returned N200m to the Fderal Government. This was disclosed by a source at the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) to The Punch. The source said: “During investigations, we traced about eight accounts to Omokore in Skye Bank. Most of the accounts are company accounts. Some were domiciled in Marina, Adeola Hopewell and some other branches on the (Lagos) Island. “We were able to identify about N200m. He raised some bank drafts in the name of the Federal Government and the money has been deposited into the Federal Government's account while investigations continue.” Omokore was arrested by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) in June, over allegations that he connived with former Nigerian oil minister, Diezani Alison-Madueke to steal billions of dollars in shady oil transactions. At least 29 people have been injured in an explosion in a crowded district of New York City on Saturday night, September 17, BBC reports. However, the cause of the blast remains unclear as at the time of filing this report. Traffic congestion due to the explosion Mayor Bill de Blasio described it as “intentional” but said that there were no known links to terror. It was gathered that the force of the blast blew out windows and could be heard several blocks away, as another device, reportedly a pressure cooker rigged with wires, was later found in the same district. The White House said President Barack Obama had been briefed about the explosion. The explosion comes just as President Muhammadu Buhari arrived New York ahead of his participation at 71st Session of the UN General Assembly. Story developing… Naij.com

I, Brigadier Joshua Nimyel Dogonyaro, of the Nigerian Army, hereby make the following declaration on behalf of my colleagues and members of the Nigerian Armed Forces. Fellow country men, the intervention of the military at the end of 1983 was welcomed by the nation with unprecedented enthusiasm. Nigerians were unified in accepting the intervention and looked forward hopefully to progressive changes for the better. Almost two years later, it has become clear that the fulfillment of expectations is not forthcoming. Because this generation of Nigerians and indeed future generations have no other country but Nigeria, we could not stay passive and watch a small group of individuals misuse power to the detriment of our national aspirations and interest. No nation can ever achieve meaningful strides in its development where there is an absence of cohesion in the hierarchy of government; where it has become clear that positive action by the policy makers is hindered because as a body it lacks a unity of purpose. It is evident that the nation would be endangered with the risk of continuous misdirection. We are presently confronted with that danger. In such a situation, if action can be taken to arrest further damage, it should and must be taken. This is precisely what we have done. The Nigerian public has been made to believe that the slow pace of action of the Federal Government headed by Major-General Muhammadu Buhari was due to the enormity of the problems left by the last civilian administration. Although it is true that a lot of problems were left behind by the last civilian government, the real reason, however, for the very slow pace of action is due to lack of unanimity of purpose among the ruling body; subsequently, the business of governance has gradually been subjected to ill-motivated power play considerations. The ruling body, the Supreme Military Council, has, therefore, progressively been made redundant by the actions of a select few members charged with the day-to-day implementation of the SMC’s policies and decision. The concept of collective leadership has been substituted by stubborn and illadvised unilateral actions, thereby destroying the principles upon which the government came to power. Any effort made to advise the leadership, met with stubborn resistance and was viewed as a challenge to authority or disloyalty. Thus, the scene was being set for systematic elimination of what, was termed oppositions. All the energies of the rulership were directed at this imaginary opposition rather than to effective leadership. The result of this misdirected effort is now very evident in the country as a whole. The government has started to drift. The economy does not seem to be getting any better as we witness daily increased inflation. The nation’s meager resources are once again being wasted on unproductive ventures. Government has distanced itself from the people and the yearnings and aspirations of the people as constantly reflected in the media have been ignored. This is because a few people have arrogated to themselves the right to make the decisions for the larger part of the ruling body. All these events have shown that the present composition of our country’s leadership cannot, therefore, justify its continued occupation of that position. |
