This is a good initiative you have, Sir.
I won't say I'm an expert or a professional in this field; however, I do have quite a wealth of knowledge about poultry farming.
First thing to note is that, #1M cannot raise 1000 broilers or layers effectively. I think 700 would be a reasonable start with that capital budget; this is excluding the purchase of land and construction of the pen.
To make this work, I think it would be best to start one before the other. And in my professional advice, I would say you start with the layers first. this is so that by the time the layers start dropping eggs after about 6 months, depending on which you decide to do by the way (Point of lay or day old), the way it works, the revenue from the layers can make up feeding for the broilers.

If you want me to continue based on what you have seen so far, acknowledge my post sir. I will then sit down and give a details estimation and possible direction to follow.

When going into a business, market seems to be the major concern.

Lemme give u a hint; figure out the rest..

Depending on ur location, u might want to work smart. identify an already established market.. A university or any tertiary institution; a large secondary school; a large company; local government secretariats etc. these places have already established markets. for instance, in Obafemi Awolowo University, they av an established market of over 35,000 people. see?

now, when u av seen the market; my advice on the business u should go into is: FMCG-Fast Moving Consumer Goods. the edible goods. 50k should be able to get u enough goods to sell. but first identify the market..
it might not end up being edible goods. might be printing paper or stuffs. Just get a school or company that's large enough and identify what is needed there.

The online assessment is cool ... about 80 to 100 personality questions. And
30 reasoning question you can't go back to pick ur answer ... each questions is about 2 minutes or so to choose the right answer. Will strongly advice you use a laptop.

I was called yesterday and was also sent an email inviting me for an interview on Monday for the role of accounts officer. My fear now is that i don't have any background in this position, I was working in a bank before but not in the finance department (more of HR and Admin). Please how do I prepare for this interview?? I don't know where to start from o....

my theory about things is: Know what you know very well! it sounds complex, right? What I mean is, whatever you know how to do, know those things very well. which now brings me to your question. As regards the interview, you can do a bit of research on the job description of an accounts officer. search online for the roles and duties of an accounts officer. then study on how to answer questions based on the job description. better yet, if in the mail, u were given a list of job descriptions, study those descriptions and see possible questions that might arise from them. study how u can tackle those questions using real life situations..

but what I'm more particular about issss.. Whatever u know how to do, know it very well.. why? you might end up disturbing urself on how to prepare for an accounts officer interview and end up not preparing on how to answer questions on the things u actually know how to do.
things like tell us about urself.. basic things..

anyways.. that's how for I can go.
