Mmmmmm,it's easier said than done. When someone says I have been booked for C.S and you just answer"the most important thing is for you and baby to be fine" people of God,when it's you, you think of millions.
So I have been feeling this ball-like thing bulging out of my Vagina and a sweet mama here said I should read about batholine cyst. Getting to the clinic today,the gynecologist said it's cystitis and the bulging is from my bladder. He said nothing can be done now because of the pregnancy but some go back on their own while some don't. In conclusion,if mine doesn't go by next week which will be my 37th week,I will be booked for C.S to avoid pressure on it while pushing. So many things have been playing on my head since then. This is my third delivery and I have never gone through C.S or any major operation in my life. More so,we didn't plan for the expenses in case my HMO(HCI health international) doesn't cover.
Sorry for the rants pls. Am just confused.

It is well ma, just believe that God will take total control.

Johnson is an old product. But it has Nigerian and foreign made and a lot of fakes. Johnson is very good if you are lucky to know and get d original foreign made. I got Angel to be on a safe side. I bought d Angel set 5k+ but as at last week, someone told me it's now abt 7k.
Cusson is also good and old too but I didn't buy it bcs Angel has more stuffs in the set than Cusson. With Angel set, I'm covered for all baby bath essentials.. It has a body lotion, oil, disinfectant, powder, soap gel, cologne, menthol, Vaseline, small diaper mat, cotton bud and even 10 pieces wipes.
But bcs of all I've heard and read abt all these products, I plan to use coconut oil or Jimpo ori for baby's first few weeks.

all dt u mentn are still safe, ice cream is safe n minced pie is also safe.... D minced pie is sade cs all d ingrediate in it are already cooked b4 dey r baked but 4 d ice cream, if d eggs dey use are petrified ones, its safe n 4 d almond fruit, almond fruit is,100percent safe if u wash it very well b4 eating so.... U r still on gud side of safety, kilishi too is safe to an extent if u gt it frm a gud place thou lol... But wat me i am craving like indomie d msg is bad news, pizza, d cheese in it not safe 4 pregnant women, mac donalds too, d one i am craving is d one wit cheeze, milkshake is just lik cold liquidized ice cream, not sure d kinda egg dey use 4 it, n soft drinks contain caffeine... So, u c... Lemme jusy dey my dey lol.

I only used the almond to illustrate how cravings can be, I've been eating it before now sef and I do well to consult Google before eating it.. I read online that kilishi is not good to eat as the meat I s not properly cooked.. But pizzas are fine sha if you want to eat them for coke or any other drink, I take them once in a while except pineapple flavoured drinks. There are people that even drinks coke through out their pregnancy, but for me ooo, a little doesn't hurt

you can still have them though at normal rates oo like maybe once if the craving makes you restless. I downed all that kilishi and I don't think I'll crave it any longer instead of dying in silence. Infact I've taken Ice cream and minced pie though they said it's not good cos of the rawness of the meat and egg but I blessed, ate and moved.

Last week, I was craving that fruit we all call fruit (almond). I asked most of my students if they had fruit trees around their houses and I was able to get two people who promised to bring for me the next day. I spent all evening till the next morning thinking about the quantity of fruits I would eat that morning but I was disappointed, one was sick and the other one promised tomorrow, that was how they quenched the fire of fruit in my body but I almost fell sick that Friday, like really sick

Tohhan, expectantmom, gracygem100, pepper soup is fine so long u prepare it yourself and don’t use all those spices especially uda used to prepare pepper soup after childbirth, you can use ginger and scent leaf all in moderation

Omakraid, buy all those packEd kilishi instead, my dh got the packed ones from shoprite at least you can trust those to an extent that they were prepared hygienically rather than those exposed by the road and with shady seasoning and spices

For pineapple it contains bromelain that causes uterine contractions, in 1st tri when I was over constipated I took a little and couldn’t sleep at night cos I had terrible cramps and spasms I was really scared so I stopped taking it. But in 2nd tri I have had it 2ce, without any effect I don’t take up to a slice anyways and i take it with other fruits more like to dilute the effect then I make sure to drink enough water afterward. In fact I still took it in my parfait yesterday but not more 7 tiny cube sizes.

Pineapple and watermelon use to be my favorite before pregnancy but I have given myself brain since. Body differs and some may take it without any effect on them

I just miscarried. It started with dark blood later it became red with painful cramps. Just this morning doc confirmed it's an early miscarriage. I have been given drugs and injection which will last for another 2 days. PLS mother who has gone through this how long did it take you to conceive again.

Sorry about this ma'am, God will surely visit you soonest. When the blood stops, do well to run a pelvic scan to be sure there's nothing left in your uterus. You can start baby dancing immediately after, I conceived with the second ovulation and you can concieve with the first. Don't brood so that time won't pass, your BFP is on the way

i noticed dt in most hospital in Nigeria dey dont tell patient not to take some drugs together because it can trigger some side effects, some side effects can be brutal too... But this people wont tell u... C ehn... U aint suppose to take ferrobine with calcium, calcium dont go with many drugs it. N 4 malaria drugs, u r suppose to stop ur routine drugs 4 dt 3days wen taking d malaria drugs... U rusume ur routine drugs after u r done wit ur malaria drugs to avoid any side effects it may cause.

Q2. Ve u start taking d malaria drugs? If yes... Pls stop taking ur prenatals for now until u finish taking ur malaria drugs... Dis is wat i was advice to do my doc in my previous pregnancy.

1. The ferrotone is once a day and the calcium is twice a day. So i end up taking both together at night
2. The malaria drug is 3 in 1 to be used once and I used it already but later that same day I used the ferrotone and calcium.
But the last time I used both was Monday night but I'm still feeling bad

Hi mamas my period is 6 days late I did a test and it was positive. Went for scan yesterday but scan could not see anything. Is it that it was too early to check?

Congratulations sis. You scanned too early. If your previous test was urine, you can go to the hospital for blood test so as to confirm. Then, you can have a transvaginal scan done at 6 weeks but I'll advise you take things easy, don't stress and wait till 8 weeks then go back for scan. Heartbeat can be detected that early

So it's the malaria melecine that is troubling my body? All melecine stopped for now. I'll try and be taking yoghurt for calcium

Good morning mums and mum's-to-be, I was at the hospital on Saturday to register for antenatal and I was given ferrotone, Calcium tabs and Amalar (antimalaria). That night I started the ferrotone and calcium while I used the Amalar on Sunday still continuing the other ones. On Monday morning, I started vomiting, I vomited thrice that day, same on Tuesday morning so I discontinued the drug after reading that vomiting is one of its side effects and since I've never vomited in the past 16 weeks.
Infact I'm still nauseated and many times weak. Am I okay at all? I don't want to go back to the hospital yet

I don't have a review particularly but some people have talked about its efficiency on the newborn and I've also come across some on IG.

Brown discharge could be old blood from previous menses. Please calm down at this point, take plenty of water, rest well and reduce stress. You can also talk to your gynae if you have one so that the discharge can be monitored and if need be for you to be placed on progesterone suppositories, you'll be told. You'll be fine ma

What can be done to make the breast milk comes faster?

Hot pap, hot amala, yam peppersoup and constant intake of warm water. You can also get lactation cookies alongside but I don't know anyone that sells. Sabi mamas will help out

Are you sure it's not worms that's making you eat too much cos it's like you are feeding many people within yourself... My question is what happens to you or your body if you don't give in to the demand of eating as soon as you are hungry?

Glory be to Almighty God. My wife just gave birth this morning.
She saw her mucus plug yesterday evening, water broke in the midnight while we are both chatting on fb, and around 9am she gave birth.
I'm soooo happy.
I'm on my way to see my wife and my LO.
Scan EDD: 13th Nov.
Birth Date: 23rd Nov.
