Good evening everyone, trust you're all fine. My wife delivered a baby boy on Dec 3rd as against Dec 16th picked by scan.
It wasn't easy though but we thank God. She called me on Dec 2nd at exactly 1.15 p.m while at work that her water broke, not knowing what to do, I told her to go to the hospital immediately, she couldn't because the water kept dripping, had to call my mum to go and see her, she was taken to the hospital and I joined them around 5pm, they've went for scan b4 I got there and the baby was still breech just as it was at 37 weeks, the doctor at the general hospital was just going here and there until it was around 11pm when they told me my wife can only deliver through C.S,i told them to carry out the operation and they shocked me by telling me their theatre was not available for that night, I nearly ran mad,the doctor said he can only refer us to FMC at Abeokuta or look for a nearby private hospital for emergency C.S, that was when I called my private doctor who later called his friend's hospital around the general hospital area at ifo who asked me to bring my wife in, when we got there the doctor assured me there was nothing emergency about our case. To God be the glory my wife delivered our baby boy around 8a.m in the morning the following day through C.S.

Congratulations dear. I was about asking same question. I planned travelling next week for Christmas before i got my BFP but being that i'm less than 5weeks gone, i don't know how safe it is.

My advice? In whatever you say, do not complain of not having morning sickness if not. I rest my case for now.

Ok. This was me three (3) weeks ago. I went, I've returned. I'm already 18days passed ovulation and to the glory of God i got a BFP. God is good.

Hi good evening mummies in the house, please I have an issue and I would want to ask if anyone has had a similar experience...
I went for ultrasound today, I'm currently 33weeks pregnant based on my calculations using date of last menstruation.

But the result of the scan reads 37weeks...I'm quite confused as I never had any similar experience in my previous pregnancies...I'm thinking of going to see the health personnel who conducted the scan tomorrow to make clarifications. What could be the cause of such a wide margin?

My mamas, today wasnt a good one for me. I'm 37 weeks and have long been scheduled for elective CS next week Tuesday (38 weeks) due to previous complications.
However, last night I developed feverish symptoms and went to hospital only to recieve a positive COVID test. Now, the hospital is treating me like an alien, sent me home to isolate and won't attend to me till I get a negative covid result OR refer me to another hospital that is able to handle covid.
My question to anyone who has experienced it;
1. How long after a positive result will I see negative one?
2. I cannot afford to go into labour, should I have the hospital refer me? They mentioned Paelon and when I researched, i found that Paelon hospital requires me to drop 5 million naira to even attend to me. I don't have that, so what can I do now?
6. I am presently on Azythromycin, Coatem, Zinc, Vitamin C and Vitamin D (in high doses) for 1 week. Won't all these drugs affect baby? Will these drugs help the positive change to negative by next week Tuesday?

Abeg help me Mamas, I'm totally lost.
