Be patient mama, when he's 4 months, you can start sitting with him.. I put my DD in between my laps when we started or hold her and let her remain in sitting position for few minutes when we started and now we can stay longer.. When he's getting used to you doing that, you can then put him on the settee and pass his sides with clothes (make sure you are there o).. At first he'll tip over but gradually he'll sit on his own?

Please mamas what do we use to cut our LOs finger nails? I use baby file but the nail grows back longer after 2 days. I tried baby nail cutter from a grooming set and omoh i mistakenly cut her fingers, blood full everywhere.
I need suggestions please

Aww, little innocentie.. The nail cutter is the best. Just ensure it doesn't hold any skin when you put her nail in between then tip it off gently.. Or you can use your teeth when you just brushed (some women use their teeth but I can't).

Mamas advice is needed pls. I m resuming work soon. My baby will be 5months then.i don't want to rely on my breastmilk alone again. Am thinking of a backup food incase I can't express. Can I go ahead to introduce solids/puree/ baby food or I still need to use all these baby milk formula.
My second q, how do u clean 4month old baby mouth. I feel d mouth needs cleaning, they can't just be eating and eating.i feel it s smelling milk

Good morning mama... You can clean the tongue,some mums use cotton wool swiped in glycerin and you can also use cotton wool swiped in water to dab the tongue and wipe any area you feel needs to be wiped.
For me o, you can start purees at 5 months and semi solids as well Incase formula won't be sufficient for baby

Thank you mama she even hates wearing caps and she sweats when sucking breast even on her head. I even decided to stop oils on her head for now before I saw ur quote,am just using Ori on it.

Oh, that's fine, same thing I'm using on daughter's head... Ensure she's not running temperature with it and also check on with your doc, she'll be fine ma

Mamas good evening oo,please who has any idea what could cause a baby to have will I say wound or boil on her head. Its like when u plait hair that's tight and it brings out boils I don't even know how to describe it and am not making her hair. My DD had same and the pharmacy gave us Sporidex to be used for 7 days but before the 7 days it all dried off and my neighbour who is a nurse also told me to stop applying oil on her hair/head and use her shea butter but I didn't listen since I saw the boils drying up... Boom, the boils came back and I started feeling guilty on the not stopping the oil stuff and we are back to square 1. I've stopped oil for now While some people said it is teeth though I no gree..

I also read that heat causes boils so I reduced Caps seriously.. You can take her to see a doctor and if your doctor recommends it, Sporidex can be taken by paediatrics

Congrats again mama.. You have nothing to worry about as the blood is supposed to gradually reduce till it stops.. If you have panty liner that can serve the purpose, you can use it as well

I've had it once and my mucus plug came off two days after but I didn't fall into labour.. After I was told it'll be done on me, I googled it and discovered it might have to be done a second or even third time to trigger labour if the first and second doesn't work.. Try read up on it

They used this same format for my colleague, thank God we were there to warn him and it happened just as we explained it to him. They said baba want to thank him.. Funny enough he has never heard of that method of ritual killing before

When my mum was around, she said we shd reduce the formula to 3caps for 120ml instead of 4caps but dey do use 4caps in his creche so I told dem to reduce it and do water well for him too den d poo became normal BUT pls am I doing well wit the reduction because my mind b like am nt gvn him d required qty needed though he's nt getting slim or anytyn o

I'll suggest you give e him the required feed quantity as stated and probably increase the number of times you give him water so that you don't deprive him the nutrients thats meant for 120ml

When we go out and I start feeding him the type of look people give me ehn, like I am one unserious mother using a bottle , before i use to feel bad, but now I just give them the ugly look back

May God help you, its really not easy.. Try the nurse's suggestion. I guess if he's off bottles for a while, he'll grab nipple when it enters his mouth..

Lucky you oo, the one time it happened to me was not funny at all oo. My boobs were like rock .. Since that day, if my mum telos me to give my DD formula, I'll tell her my breast is full and I don't want that midnight experience.. I ate more than half of the NAN myself... Thank God you don't experience the pain oo

How did u mothers do it wen u r contipated n u gaz use d toilet asap, u r d only person at home with baby? Wat i actually did was dt i carried baby with me to d toilet on his bouncer but far away from me thou n was playing with him but mr man was complaining wanting me to carry me while i battle wit gettin d waste out of my body but dis thing wasnt showing any sign of comin out any sooner n baby was already getting frustrated , already mkin sound dt he ws abt to cry, i kept mkin faces to mk him laugh but mr man doesnt find it funny, i sing 4 him, e no work ... As e carry mouth yaaa about to burst crying, i just carry my bombom jejely comot toilet to attend to him ... D backpain n leg pains i had afterwards due to d contipation ehn hmmmn(constipation na bad tin wen u r in a hurry) , naso i carry uncle ooo, played wit him n fed him until e feel asleep after 5hrs straight b4 i resumed bk 2 d toilet n resume my bziness, tnk goodness d hrs help my body soften d waste , n it came out easily.. Backpain n leg pains disappear instantly ... Babies can b demanding sha smh... B acting lik little demons

Mama there are some things that cannot be avoided ooo... My people will say, you were congratulated because the baby cried, if the baby did not cry, there is no congratulations (we thank God our babies cried). I make sure I hurry when I use the loo and if its something I can skip till the dad is around, fine. If not I'll just be singing with her name while I do my do as she's crying.. When I've cleaned up I'll go and carry, I can't kee mysef..

Nawa ooo, so pumping is not easy like this, thank God say I no be pumping gang with this engorgement being talked about.. I experienced engorgement the day I first formula fed my baby and she slept without sucking, I almost passed.. The breast was like ice, thank God my mum was there and she brought palm kernel oil which she rubbed on it for let down to happen..
I've never read a honest review on expressing milk like this... One of the things mums go through for their kids.. It is well

Don't take herbs to turn baby ooo... stick to your doctors advise, it's better prepared for than emergency .
