Wear her a sock and singlet inside before wearing her the onesie. Avoid covering her with a blanket or flannel and you can do away with the mittens unless you have guests, then you can wear her to avoid direct contact with her hands.
Don't over coat her with the ori as it does make one sweat...

For you, try and dress down a bit and pls check your BP just to be sure you are good to go.
Plenty water does some magic too.

As at 26/5/2022 my baby was given rota 1, opv 1, pcv 1 and penta 1. We paid 200 naira for the 4 injections. They charge 200 flat rate any time we go for vaccination at the primary health center.

Keeping her under the fan isn't healthy at all shey you know? Cos it can expose her to cold directly.
How exactly do you dress her? Do you wear her something inside before the onesies or just onesies alone?
What do you apply on her body as her lotion? If whatever you are applying has too much oil in it, it can clog her pores and make her sweat.

Both the sitting room and room has cross ventilation but we only opened one side of both windows in the room.... When I noticed the way she sweats, I dress her in onesies alone without singlets under but her socks and mittens are always on..
I apply jimpo ori on her body... I also don't know when I will stop sweating excessively, it started in pregnancy and tomorrow will be 8 weeks postpartum.. If not for my mum, I would have been dressing her with the way the weather is on me

I don't know what to do with fan and my baby oo, she sweats a lot. Cover her small and she's sweating all over her body. Last night she was sweating all over despite the fan being on even though I reduced it... when she's on cap, she keeps displaying discomfort until it is removed.. we use two clothes before morning as I do change her when the one she wore to bed is wet (I dress her in onesies alone without covering her) .. I don't know what to do again, she's not up to 2 months but the sweating is too much

I took my baby for 6weeks immunisation. They have him two shots ,(penta and PCV). Opv was not available and they asked me to come back next week for it. But the nurse told me that the 4th one which rota 1 is not free anywhere and that I should pay 10k for it to be given.

So please is this the same with any of us here?

Yes ROTA is not free and in some hospitals, it costs more than 10k..
Rota is for the prevention of diarrhoea and Co and sometimes the side effects can be same diarrhoea

Vaginal birth after 2 previous CS is almost absolutely contraindicated. This is so because, as someone rightly said, there is a very high chance of uterine rupture that may be catastrophic to either or both mother and the baby.

Depending on the type of CS, subsequent vaginal birth may even be contraindicated after only 1 previous CS. This is so mostly with a classical CS (though this isn't a regular choice for the obstetrician nowadays).

For women who have had one previous CS in which a transverse lower segment incision (most common) was done, there is no automatic qualification to attempt VBAC. There are series of criteria that you and your baby will have to fulfill during the course of antenatal care, and even up to the labour room.

Outcomes are poorer when a woman is attempting a VBAC is subjected to a repeat CS during the course of labour and delivery.

The next day I went to slot, computer village to buy another Phone,Redmi of course 10c
The person that stole my phone just discovered it's useless to him,I locked it straight and the only thing the thief can see is my phone number

Can't your office transfer you sef? There should be room for that unless there isn't a Branch office in Hubby's location.

He said he is tired of distance marriage, oga wants to be seeing his child when he comes back from work.. The wife had no choice but to stay back, she told me her direct boss still called her last month to know if she's coming back her hubby still said no even though the baby is 6 months old.... She's very strong and healthy, the only thing is just for her to add weight.. I pray she adds more rapidly than expected.

Meanwhile I was planning to resign from my work place by the end of July when I'll commence my maternity leave following the advice of some mamas here to take off from 36weeks. Now the funny thing that happened yesterday 29/6/2022 was that I received a promotion letter o with almost double of my current salary with effect from this July that's starting tomorrow. (Promotion I've been expecting since 2019 before I got married sef and it refused to come).
Right now, ayam confused o. Don't know if to accept the new position and enjoy increased pay or to re-unite with my husband from the maternity leave and enjoy my young family. The matter tire me. I have till 1st July to accept or decline the new position.

Congratulations mama, may you continue to go higher in all your endeavours...
I don't know what to advise on your job cos I'm typing from "my husband's house" but I believe you and hubby will make the best decision cos family is everything

In addition to the previous advice given, ensure you burp her after every feeding to reduce the gas in her tommy..
For the sleep, have you tried lying by her side and petting her while she sleeps?

I did not massage my baby own. I only gave him only paracetamol morning, afternoon, evening and midnight around 1am. I tried not to put pressure on the legs by making him stand until he started kicking bed and me. Then I know that the leg is fine. Don't worry she will be fine

No you didn’t. Absolutely refrain from massaging it or applying ice block. The cool water that runs over the lap during bath is ok. Massaging can lead to lump and subsequent abscess formation. That penta vaccine is painful but you don’t want to go through abscess drainage with your LO. It’s heart shattering, I kid you not!

Your already doing great. Be untop of the paracetamol administration. Don’t wait for the fever to pick up before you administer. Just do so every 6hrly at the most, carry, cuddle and soothe DD through it. Try not to shake the leg as much. That Penta is brutal honestly. Poor babies.

Pls is there anywhere they do Circumcision without pain in Lagos? That wan too is not for faint hearted.

I don't have a boy yet but I know circumcision is not beans... Mothers are not the weaker vessel as claimed but the stronger ones... I also don't stay in Lagos but a good general hospital around you should do or probably the hospital where you put to birth

Immunisation is not for the faint-hearted oo... After our 6 weeks immunisation yesterday, our body has not been the same and my DDs temperature rise in the midnight and till now its still very high... I've given her paracetamol and I'm ensuring she's not dehydrated, what else can I do to keep the pain low Someone advised we massage the legs yesterday so it won't swell but I told my mum we ain't massaging anything, i hope i didn't do wrong?
