What a load of rubbish, come over to Europe! you go see them plenty, I have met a few on the plane to Naija who were going for the traditional wedding

I dont see anything wrong with it, only shallow minded people sees it as a problem, I once read an article from one of the williams sisters complained that black men feel intimidated around her thats why she dated her white boyfriend,

Another person said that his black girlfriend couldnt stand the fact that female fans crowds him and hug, that everytime they get home its always arguements

If she divorce him, she will part away with a lot of things that will be valuable than $80 million,
1) I dont believe the story

2) If she files for divorce she wont get that much -- Tiger Wood's Prenup -"Reportedly, the couple had an agreement that stipulated they must remain married for 10 years in order for Elin to collect a settlement of $20 million, and that is the part of the settlement being negotiated. "

This is to every one who is so skeptical about the chances of the Super eagles at the world cup in South Africa - if you think our team is bad, if you think amodu is not good, then you need to go north to a certain team of REAL chickens - tricolore style. I have several reasons why our team is, on current form, better than Raymond Domenech's les bleus:
Les Blues have leaders and Characters in the squad and real fighters,

Lord have mercy!!!! Amodu would make Diego Maradona look like Sir Alex Ferguson

You are full of rubbish and not a particularly sharp individual as well.

If you think it is these conjectures I would accept as an argument and be debating at that level, then you must be mistaken.

The level I debate at requires some intellectual depth and aptitude for using facts. See my NL signature.

So the reason England is winning is because the professionals of England work things out for themselves on the pitch? Capello is just a slowpoke sitting on the bench? They are not players you need to explain things to even once, talkless of over and over again. So surely you can not tell me you see any contribution from Capello in that team?

That is the parallels of your argument, init?
Hell no, you have lost me,

What am trying to say is that Amodu does not know what he is doing and the players are working things out by them selves,

its like Chelsea under Avram Grant the players were determined to secure the future the club by themselves at a point they ignore instructions from Mr Grant because dropped some major clangers,

Under Scolari he ran out of ideas and the players as well so the had to fire him,

Capello gave the team strict instruction and they had to stick with it unless he indicates otherwise, Steve Maclaren didnt know what to do and were exposed by the other managers (Hiddink and Bilic)

Cameroun had a poor difference thats why they didnt qualify how can you have any kind of difference with three draws?Your GD from 3 drawn games is ZERO. Cameroun didn't qualify because they scored a goal less than Italy.
Yo a 2 - 2 result would be ranked higher than 0-0 or 1-1

Italy had a 1-1 result against Peru and Cmeroun had a 0-0 result and that was the difference between the 2 team

So you are saying, you will prefer Amodu uses homebased players. And if he does, and they show commitment on the pitch but lose because they lack guile, you would be happier than if he uses foreign-based players that win matches?

What do you mean by foreign-based players are working things out on the pitch by themselves
What am trying to say is that, the reason why the current eagles team have qualified is because the players were professional and worked things out without the looney sitting in the dugout,

if the players were home base players were you need to explain things over and over again - Amodu ability to manage at the highest level would be exposed, for example the final of the under 17 world cup, do you know how many times the manager got up and shouted at Stanley Okoro to play with his team mates despite that he turned into a one man show, now can you have Amodu in that situation?
Sports › Re: Can Amodu Make Nigeria Proud by omar22(m): 11:57am On Dec 08, 2009
Nigeria could win the Nations cup but not under the Looney called Amodu,

The reason why Egypt has won the last 2 or the last 3 tournament has stayed in north Africa is because they rely on players playing their own local league,  whereas the rest of Africa has to wait on a superstar to arrive before they start breathing,   Some players look down on the other, I play in the premiership you play in the Swedish league, at some point some players dont pass the ball to another player e.g. Odewinge. we have players turning up at the camp 5 days before a game where Kanu and Co. coming in 2 days later without no one questioning them. no matter how good you are, if you attitude stinks then you are nothing! the Egyptian have a togetherness and a bonding, they are not the best players but they have a great team. Nigeria, Ghana, Ivory Coast etc have great players but the same problem attitude but not as Nigerians, look at the Senegal team of 6 years ago but ego got in front of reality and now its all gone.

For example Fabio Capello puts out his list of players to report to Carrington on Sunday evening by Monday mid day they have all reported unless you have a geniune excuse and I mean geniune,   but Naija players Martins left Newcastle 5 days before a Naija friendly after the club begged Martins to omit himself because its only a friendly and he is needed at Newcastle due to lack of cover, but Martins didnt even show up at the eagles camp,  This is my arguement it all starts at the top,  do you think someone like Kanu could look at Hiddink or Scolari in the eye and say Utaka has to start ahead of Uche or do you think a player would leave Heathrow Monday morning and show up at the eagles camp on Wednesday evening without any explanation,

am sorry until we have someone who commands respect (which is not Amodu) then we would be on the first plane leaving South Africa next July
Sports › Re: Can Amodu Make Nigeria Proud by omar22(m): 11:07am On Dec 08, 2009
Even if we hired Fergie to coach Nigeria for both the Nations Cup & World cup. . . we still wouldn't win. Isn't he also going to use the same players Amodu's presently using? ? ?

We're our own worst enemies. . . the general mentality is absolutly wrong in Nigeria & around the team

Must Nigeria always win everything or everytime. . . God isn't a Nigerian nor is he a football fanatic

It's a game & not a war. . .learn to enjoy the game y'all

Nigeria WILL NOT win the world cup irrespective of who's in charge & mayb not even the Nations Cup
TOKS, Nigeria has a great chance for the Nations Cup

Oga,is that the best you can come up with?
3 matches out of 3 in a World cup is  quite a different scenrio from 6 games in a CL.Besides, Cameroun also had three games drawn in the same group.why didn't they qualify as well?
You can NEVER qualify by drawing 6 CL games unless the unlikely happening that all games in that group are drawn, occurs.Never mind what that edoyad says. You know that as well.
The question was:
An example of a team with 6 draws and qualified would help your argument seriously

So if Amodu decides to use a home-based players and lose 5-1 to Egypt, then he is a fool.

If Amodu is winning with teams that are yet to gell, he is an e-diot that has no tactical nuance, it was all luck.

If Amodu almost wins Tunisia but unfortunately draws (not lose), he is useless and should be sacked.

But if a coach with the superior white skin does the same or WORSE then we get:

"He used mainly local players or homebase players"

"the team that went had not yet gelled together"

"the team will get better eventually and only lost narrowly"
What are talking about? am only responding to a previous quote,

Amodu uses home players ; That I would like to see, its ok to rely on the foreign based players to work thinks out for themselves on the field, while sits down with glee on his face, with homebase players who enjoy kick and rush in the Nigerian league, he would have to polish and put a team together and am sorry, even Bulldog get limit

In 1990 ACN, he lost 5-1 t0 Algeria
He used mainly local players or homebase players compared to the team that went to Maroc 88 that had all the stars the team that went to Algiers had not yet gelled together and Algeria had a field day but as the tournament proceeded the team got better and only lost narrowly to Algeria,

Sports › Re: Argentina, Nigeria, Korea Republic, Greece: Do We Stand A Chance? by omar22(m): 12:13pm On Dec 07, 2009
I've got the utmost disdain for this Nigerian team, the team is so full of poo, look at the last nations cup, in 2008, our players couldn't even move on the pitch,, we won just one game, and that was against benin republic, and it was hard fought, we couldn't beat mali, cote d'ivoire beat us and my word, Ghana humiliated us, the goal Junior Agogo scored was a pure tap-in and our defenders were so heavy, now imagine coming up against Messi. Even with a man down, Ghana was much the better team .
Then came the world cup qualifiers, we were in the easiest group of the african series and we struggled so much.
Rite here in Abuja, we couldn't beat a largely home-based tunisian side, mozambique was a hard nut both home and away,, we only recorded a double over kenya after we got a fake penalty in abuja and THE YAK scored an offside goal in harare which he tried so hard to miss hitting the upright the first time.
No one could explain how got around qualification, maybe it was God.
Leaving it to permutations, and analysis, this Nigerian team can't go pass the first round, i doubt if we'll be able to score a world cup goal!
But lets leave room for the mysterious,
Spot on!!! The game against Tunisia Amodu sat down motionless thinking his next intake of ££££ from those who would play the next game, Amodu should be fired this minute or else we would be a laughing stock at the world (most especially from Ghanaians who recently found their voice)
