Can you point to a place where Benue people were seen posting hateful comments directed at Igbos? Nothing concerns the average Benue man with Igbos.

The only time they made comments that were somewhat directed at the East was when Kanu snd his goons started claiming BENUE IS PART OF BIAFRA.

Otherwise, the only "offence" Benue committed against Ndigbo was voting for Buhari as opposed to the preferred candidate of Ndigbo, Jonathan. Since then, it has been one fanfare after another from them once killers strike in the state. You people should be telling yourselves the truth sometimes.

Even though I feel strongly that the protest is politically motivated and unnecessary at this time, I will urge the security operatives to be professional and calm in handling the situation. Peaceful protesters should not be harmed or molested in any way.

However, they must also be sharp enough not to allow breakdown of law and order. The kind of destruction that was unleashed on Lagos during the last protest must never be allowed to happen this time around. Maximum force should be applied if necessary to stop any possible destruction.

For me, I felt the deployment wasn't even necessary. They should have kept themselves at bay while the DefendLagosProtesters are also allowed their right to PEACEFUL protest at the plaza.

That would have been enough.

Igbos here on Nairaland and Facebook mocked them for queuing behind Nigeria during the Civil War against Biafra. The internet never forgets, Yorubas did not ever mock Benue people instead it was Igbos who did when the Fulani massacred Agatu people.

Expectedly, he denounced Kanu and said only idiots follow him. On the Anambra issue, he said he's from Anambra. When I inquired why they feel they're superior to other Igbos, he retorted that "even our junior brothers from other states know say we senior them for everything. Go ask dem go tell you."

If I'm lying, may whatever good I seek in life never get to me.

I have no idea the reason behind this but it is the TRUTH. Anambra Igbos look down on other Igbos.

I have come to realise lately that for everything Easterners curse other people for, their own people do way worse. The only difference is, very few people not from the East live in the East, so information of negative implication from that end is hard to come by, as those who would have shared such info online, Easterners themselves, wouldn't do so, just to protect the stench of their own fart.

On the other hand, you have hundreds of thousands, if not millions, of Easterners living in the West and other parts of the country. So soon as there's a sneeze in the West or elsewhere, EVERYONE in Nigeria hears the sound of it. Why- because the visitors, the Easterners, share such news at the speed of light, just to embarrass their host.
