Why attack people protesting peacefully to be free from this evil contraception called Nigeria. We can never be one with Nigeria, let the yorubers and fulanis enjoy their one Nigeria. We don't want to be part of it anymore, so why use force on us? They hate us, every day it's igbo this, igbo that and yet they don't want to grant referendum. Whether they like it or not, one way or the other, very soon, an incident that will trigger this actualization for good will occur. You can never outshine the sun.
I suppose Ekweremadu was violent when he was attacked.

I don't like Ekweremadu, never have, and doubt I ever will, but you guys that call yourselves ipob have a sickening level of hypocrisy and entitlement.

What is wrong with you people? Why is it so hard for you to swallow the same pills you manufacture and administer to others?

The hypocrisy is mindblowing. Ekweremadu wasnt even protesting, dude responded to an invitation to an event, they trailed him and attacked him. Their leader came out to praise them.

Today they are at recieving end of similar treatment and they are saying it is disgraceful.

How do ipob reason?

You and Pachukwudi44. Whoever you support is ALWAYS doomed to fail. You should check yourselves, maybe this is beyond what meets the eyes.

The reason why Osinbajo continues to succeed and is loved my a greater majority of Nigerians is because characters like you and pachucks oppose him. Trust me, the day you utter a word in support of the gentleman, that will be the day his descent to political doom begins.

Have you finished developing the urban areas in the state? Check now, he hasn't done anything substantial since he was appointed.

Our problem in this country is that we have a lot of people who detests making use of their God-given brains. How on earth can you conveniently channel your frustrations towards landlords that managed to acquire properties for themselves against all economic and financial odds in this hell of a country and in the same breath absolve the govt of any blame. For goodness sake don't u know it's the govt's responsibility to meet the housing needs of its people or make provision for accessible mortgage loans which will help citizens own houses. It is their irresponsibility that those landlords took advantage truly but it is comical demanding that the same irresponsible govt that couldn't help u put a roof over ur head now helps u checkmate the excesses of the person that did instead of addressing the reason it was so easy for tenants to be taken advantage of in the first instance; You probably thought their solitary responsibility is just to enact laws and more laws while feeding fat on our commonwealth while at it.

Moral lesson: START HOLDING YOUR GOVERNMENT RESPONSIBLE FOR THEIR ACTIONS AND INACTIONS

Since they've given the Chinese opportunity in all most sectors it will be wise to grant the Russians their age long dream.

AJSC is very vital for industrialization with lots of design and fabrication companies springing up. I must also not forget Natasha the real woman of steel. I guess her hand is on this.
Still very much doubtful about the viability of the factory given its age. The processes and technology built into the system might be outdated and updating them might prove as costly as building a new factory.

Let's see how it goes though. No nation in the world can excel industrially without a number of such steel manufacturing companies.
Politics › Re: Reps Pass Bill To Criminalise Estimated Billing by omenka(m):
For the first time, I'd agree that they're about to do something that would truly impact the lives of the average and poor Nigerians positively.

That Estimated billing is nothing but a legitimized robbery.

While at that, they should consider looking into doing something about landlords arbitrarily increasing their rents. You get an appartment today and the next year the landlord is asking that you pay extra 50000 or move out, even though no structural improvement was made on what existed at the time one rented the apartment.

Too many things that are critical to the livelihood of the people are wrong in this country, but we just prefer dwelling on frivolities.

Another idiotic thread early in the morning. I guess if you guys don't mention my name over a d over again. Guess if you guys dont do that, you can hardly get 4id of your early morning boner.

So THE ONLY "FACT" you guys can come up with about igbos being indigenous to Benue state is a newspaper publication of 2017, which by no means even supports that claim. Not a shread of historical evidence such as maps, artifacts, publication, etc.

Pathetic.

Keep this nonsense up beyond this place a d you would eventually get what's coming to you.

Shey one of you claimed I was overreacting and that none of you actually laid claims to the lands, and here you are trying to push some more when the matter had been laid to rest.

Doesnt it bother you ONLY YOU GUYS SEEM TO BE LAYING CLAIMS TO OTHER PEOPLE'S LANDS all the time??!!

Get this into your thick skull, IGBOS ARENT INDIGENOUSTO BENUE STATE, the same way FULANIS AREN'T INDIGENOUS TO ENUGU.

Forget math and all that. Simply do a radio carbon dating and you wouldnt have to do any guessing or mathematics.

Never going to work.

We will end up in a situation where a particular ethnic group perpetually dominates others within the state, in a similar fashion they do governorship. This would simply birth another round of political upheavals to add to all that we are already contending with.

These legislators know the truth but they keep skirting around it: Simply cut back on your salaries and allowances if you are sincerely looking for a way to cut back on your expenditure. This is alot more practical and pragmatic than what is being proposed here which would even require a constitutional ammendment!
