And what are you? The president of America and the tallest man in the world I presume.

Do you people ever have anything intelligent to say than insulting people? Are you even capable of an intelligent conversation? I pretty much doubt it.

Those who worked tirelessly to drive a wedge between this gentleman and his boss when his boss was incapacitated back then are out taking another shot to see if they succeed. I hope they fail again like they did the last time.

I dont know what is the to benefit the country try from wishing the president and his vice have a go at each other.

Somebody tell me, HOW IS THAT OZEKHOME'S BUSINESS?? sad

Has he suddenly fallen in love with Tinubu and Osinbajo he wants to see them remain relevant as opposed to what he alleges buhari plans to to do to them huh

Imagine him saying the race for 2023 has begun when the same man urged Atiku in to Supreme Court. This means he doesnt even believe in the course he's pursuing but is just out to fleece Atiku.

For that statement alone, if I was Atiku I'd fire him.

After reading all that was reading, this is the best the mind of a supposed leader of tomorrow can come up with. All in a bid to gather likes.

What a pity. Topic about revenue generation and all he could do is draaaaag TRIBE into it

How did these kids find their way into this forum for christ sake? When are you lit gonna allow intelligent engagement prevail around here? sad

Nigeria's GDP and Direct Foreign Investment all zero only in a government of a certificateless dullard.
Throwing insults at every turn makes you come across as handicapped upstairs. Grow up and leave that trashy attitude to the kids around here desperately scavenging for likes and shares.

Mr Gates, Nigeria's situation is a rather unique one. There are a million things one could do to get that revenue but the requisite system has yet to be put in place. We would need sufficient palliatives to cushion the effect of government's drive for improvement of the IGR lest we be pushing our people into greater poverty.

In addition, I gathered a policy is being worked on to adequately plug the leaks in the system. Thousands of firms out there ripping the government off by evading payment of taxes. The revenue profile will surely receive a good facelift the moment the policy comes on stream.

Lastly Mr Gates, you could use some of those investment of yours. A couple of companies in the country wouldn't hurt us at all sir.

Hi Seun,

Nairaland has become a tool for tribal war-mongering by a number of your mods from certain parts of the country.

You need to replace your mods and employ a Content/Ethics Director to monitor your mod's activities.

Also the fake/unverified news from so-called "bloggers" who coalesce with mods for cheap-traffic has to stop.

Apart from entertainment, only verified news from reputable sources should be promoted to the front page.

Regards.
The one I find the most irritating is why Seun has constantly looked the other way when mods push obviously divisive threads lifted from the tweeter pages of ffk and Reno to the fp.

I believe this is allowed because Seun et al believe such threads generate traffic, and the more the traffic on the site, the bigger the profits.

This forum is contributing it's unfair share to ruining this country.

In addition Seun, has RULE 9 been suspended? Has the need for traffic overtaken your sense of duty and patriotism as a Nigerian?

Rosskiki:
Use your fucking brain. This is is about far more than Saudi Arabia. This is potentially WW3 loading up. Nigeria MUST take a stance in this. The US is already talking of military retaliation. A war against Iran will not end there. It will draw in Israel, Russia, the UK, China, and others. Do you want to live in a world in which those nuclear powers are lobbing bombs at each other? You sit in Nigeria and think all that matters are your petty developmental problems. All the things you moan about today will seem like LUXURY if WW3 breaks out. So use your fucking head.
Rosskiki, these people are super dumb kids honestly. They imagine the international community works based on emotions just as those blurry paintings in their little minds.

There is absolutely nothing one could say here to educate them. The subject matter is beyond their scope of understanding.

You should be ashamed of yourself. You told yourself a barefaced lie and believed same. What manner of twisted mind does that?

I could bet my last breath you got no idea what is meant by ineptitude or intellect, reason why you act the way you do yet imagine you could lay any claims to intelligence.

You narrow minded kids should have a section created for you where you could converge and with your likes and mess around unimpeded. You have bastardized this forum with your ignorance and hate so much so not a single chance is left for any productive engagement. All you guys do is rant and rave and curse in a bid to attract likes and shares from your kind. I dare say should the forum revert what it used to be seven or so years ago, you lot would be nothing but observers as you'd have absolutely nothing worth anything to contribute to discussions.

Any sane mind would understand Nigeria would likely benefit from that tragedy, regardless, been an OPEC member state, it is only wise that one condemns such an attack IN SOLIDARITY. But being an ignoramus, just like the horde of your likes around here, I dont expect you to understand that.

It's a pity one has no choice but to share this space with you lot.

You see why I keep telling my brothers from the East to stop allowing idiots like Reno play on their emotions? Reno claimed Buhari was foot dragging because the majority of those affected are Igbos just so as to inflame the minds of Igbos against a presidency they've already demonstrated their dislike for (which is their right by the way).

Reno, I know you're on this forum 247, let me say this to you sir- you are a hazard to those you profess to care about.

As in!!

How could a man of his stature be easily swayed by such innocuous online criticisms?

Imagine madam Oby hailing his choice of action. Were she the one in his shoes, would she have done the same? Didnt she accept an invitation to go to SA when everyone else was up in arms against the government and people of that counteybover what they were doing to Nigerians? Was her motivation anything else but the need to make a quick buck?

Why didnt she decline the invitation in protest to what our brothers and sisters were going through?

I was one of those asking people to leave her alone over that incident, insisting she has the right to he choices, when she was descended upon. Now I know better.
Politics › Re: Nigerians Reacts As Budgit Boss, Seun Onigbinde Resigns His Appointment by omenka(m): 2:54pm On Sep 16, 2019
We claim we want youths in government. A young man gets appointed into a sensitive position. We cursed and insulted him until he resigned even before stepping into his office.

We claim we need technocrats and not pot bellied politicians in positions of authority. A technocrat gets appointed. We cursed and insulted him until he resigned.

We insisted appointments are lopsided in favour of a particular section of the country. A man gets appointed from the other side. We kicked and protested until he resigned.

We say we want to get the best from government. The government makes an appointment that could see to the realization of that lofty desire. We kicked and protested until the appointee resigned!!!

Nigerians, WHAT EXACTLY DO WE WANT!!!huh
Politics › Re: Seun Onigbinde Resignation: Oby Ezekwesil, Banky W, Others React by omenka(m): 2:45pm On Sep 16, 2019
Compare Ezeks tweet with that of Banky. This woman though. I'm beginning to see some sense in the things people around here say about her.

We want the best from government but at the same time hate to see the best IN government.

How does one reconcile that? Wouldn't she gladly accept same if given? If sacrifices were good, why didnt she sacrifice a chance to travel to SA for a summit in protest against what they've done to our brothers and sisters in that country?
