Politics › Re: Ezeife: Igbos Will Support IPOB In 2023 If Denied Presidency by omenka(m):
So it has come to this! Coersion. Dont Nigerians reserve the right to choose their leaders anymore? Why do you have to blackmail them into electing one of your own as president?

This is pathetic coming from someone like Ezeife.

I would like to ask this question.

Amongst all zones in this country there is no single zone that has toiled as hard for PDP as the South East and the South South. Politics is about sweat and reward.

Wike for instance pulled all the stops he could to ensure the party's survival after 2015. He imagined he deserves anything he asks of the party, and that is why we see him creating so much chaos in the party today after being denied those rewards he demanded.

When Ikemba, the single most respected son of Ndigbo throughout history, stood for the presidency, they demonstrated not even he could sway them from sticking with PDP as they still voted enmass for PDP!! What greater demonstration of loyalty could there be in politics?

The South South has been given the ticket which indeed they deserved.

WHAT EXACTLY IS STOPPING THE POLITICIANS IN SOUTH EAST FROM PUSHING FOR PDP TO GIVE THEM THE TICKET COME 2023 AS THE DESERVE IT MORE THAN ANYONE ELSE?

This is one thing I still crack my head to understand but fail to at every attempt. What exactly is stopping someone like Ezeife from demanding the ticket from PDP after all the HARD WORK the zone has put into the survival and growth of the party? From '99 to this day, they've busted their hump and showed exemplary loyalty to the party. Why cant the ticket be given them?
Christianity Etc › Re: Osinbajo's Enemies Are Mainly From South West - UK Pastor Reveals God's Mind by omenka(m): 6:11pm On Sep 22, 2019
You see. Pdp is always fond of chasing shadows only to cry foul in the end.

Elections are in the offing in Bayelsa and Kogi, pdp isnt bothered about them even though their house appear to be in total disarray in both states.

In Rivers, Wike is wreaking havoc on the party's national structure, but hell, that isnt their problem. They are preoccupied with Osinbajo!!!

While other parties are busy doing some hard work to ensure their victory, pdp is goofing around, and when the people's verdict comes out in the polls they'd go crying to un, icc, fifa and what not, that they've been rigged out.

I just dey laugh.

Your zoo is currently illegally occupying my homeland (that is my concern and business). If only your life was productive you wouldn't be everywhere butting into the affairs of other ethnic groups. The last time I checked I was talking to a fellow Igbo and not to you. It is very fulfilling to mind your business, you should try it sometimes.
What have you EVER DONE to make your *homeland* better?

Oh, I forgot, you said a zoo is occupying your homeland, which means you are bound to a cage in the zoo therefore cant do NOTHING.

Pele. It shall be well with you.

Dude, this is untrue. Lying to ourselves doesnt solve anything. A time might come when a network overtakes mtn, but as we speak, mtn tops all networks on terms of assets, innovation and spread.

That is the home truth.

Buhari, lime. Jonathan, apple.

I wholeheartedly accept that!

You are lying to yourself and believing the lies.

Were it not for paid hacks like Reno who operates a dozen monikers on the forum (since he's been out of job for five years and has absolutely nothing better to do with his time) and use them to perpetually force Jonathan's memory into our consciousness, I doubt any APC supporter would even remember he exists.

That is the truth.

Regardless of what happens, Jonathan was a failure and there is no attempt at rewriting his history that would change that.

If jonathan stages a comeback tomorrow, Reno read this, no matter your whitewashing, HE WILL STILL LOSE.

You can keep telling those lies to those who believe the things you say hook line and sinker. Gosh. Anyone reading this imposter's tweets these days would believe Nigeria was even a superpower under the said administration.

My major disgust is with Seun and his mods that have made the forum a launching pad for pdp propaganda lately. Wait and see this also thrown into the fp.

What about the threat of forming a parallel government? HYPOCRITE
Like I said, pdp supporters are grossly ignorant and too emotional.

The threat of a parallel government came with CAVEAT which as IF THE ELECTION IS RIGGED AS IT WAS IN 2011. That is an entirely different ball game.

In this case, a contestant who even congratulated the winner made a volte face after a cabinet was set up, ostensibly because he wasnt called to the dining table, and called for an overthrow of the government!

How are both scenarios similar?

You sound pretty frustrated though, and I'm sure not responsible for whatever it is that is frustrating you, perhaps a deadbeat partner or something.

For the record, I dont engage females around here, because once you whip them a little, they run off to accuse one of being a women molester.

Go fix yourself and stop shedding tears on my wall.

Goodbye.

GEJ and his gang of thieves were an absolute disaster. There was freedom of speech yes, but there was more freedom to STEAL especially at the top. They were gonn run Nigeria finances down the gutter had they not been kicked out and I have NO REGRETS being a part of that process. Sowore was right!!!!!!!

Gej's disastrous performance in office pushed Nigerians to Buhari whose propaganda machine convinced the majority that he was now a reformed Democrat. We were wrong and we admit it now. To err is human.

You cant fault sowore's stance against GEJ. The same way he went against GEJ is the same way he went against abacha, babangida, and now buhari. He's persistently been on the side of the truth and constantly fought the political class for the masses. I am yet to see anyone with any concrete proof of corruption against the guy. Not even Gej's houseboy, con-artist Pastor Reno was able to provide any proof of corruption against sowore
The problem with pdp supporters is that they're too emotional when it comes to politics. I just don't get it.

Shouldnt SR have published articles about an obviously morally bankrupt leadership simply because the head of that government was someone they supported?

Has there EVER been a government against whom SR haven't made publications? Has this same newspaper not been 3xtremely critical about Buhari's admin? What exactly is the hullabaloo about?

This was how they went about lying about some phantom freedom of 3xpression under Jonathan until I busted their bubble of lies with an article here three years ago.

If there was no freedom of expression, would people like ffk and Deji still be roaming around as free men today?

No one gave a hoot about SR criticisms until he called for an ouster of a democratically elected government through mass revolt. He didnt call for protest. He called for an OVERTHROW of a sitting government!

No government in the world would tolerate such, not even the US.

Funny kids.

They planned and ochestrated attempts to ruffle him or make him stupidly confront his Principal like Atiku did but they failed woefully, as he ignored them graciously and dedicated all his time attending to his duties...

As a Principled Man When he was the Acting President he took difficult but honest decission, He sacked cabal's attack dog Lawal Daura of the DSS for laying seige on the then PDP Senate President even when Saraki constantly mocked him as a mere comissioner he still did the right thing, and made the most senior director even when he is from Bayelsa , he made him The acting DG DSS

It was under him as the Acting President that Onnoghen was confirmed, it was also under him that DSS obeyed court order and released Nnamdi Kanu even after all insult he hauls at him

This is the height of fake news. The entire story is made up of tissues of lies. Mischievous opposition media platforms are trying to create further confusion by reporting falsehood. Tinubu and the presidency canals are not on the same page and cannot be jointly moving against the Vice president.

Those against the Vice President are those against power shift to the south. They are just some misguided presidential hawks without any political clout. The best they can do is to reduce the powers of the VP but they can’t push him out or have power retained in the north beyond 2023. It is even good that they are playing all their cards early enough. Now we know what they are up to and can device strategies to respond appropriately.
It is terrible to say the least!!

I read those lines with mouth wide open on disbelief! How could someone spread white lies with such gusto?

Jeez!

My activity back then was encouraged by the fact some level of decorum and intelligent engagement existed on the forum. Even after the election them, we wrote articles upon articles with arguments and counter arguments.

I remember we even had debates then. Either I'm responding to a thread by Barca or some dude back then (cant quite remember his name, but a smart PDP dude). Very interesting era.

Today, the story is different. Hate everywhere, kids insulting adults, etc. One eventually gets tired you know. Notwithstanding, Baba honestly hasnt lived up to expectations. That I cant deny, but hey, PDP isnt an option to me.

Hope your pikin dey grow up well, plus your madam. Bought him a toy snake yet?

Politics › Re: Wike’s Revenge, Atiku’s Next Move by omenka(m):
What is Secondus saying or doing about Wilke's overbearing attitude? Cant these people simply put their differences aside and work as a team? If the opposition dies completely, we'd be in hot soup as a nation.

Others chipped in their bit, of course. Ayo Fayose supplied noise and entertainment which was, quite frankly, all he could afford; the governors of the South East offered dubious solidarity, for which they are famous; while in the South-South, the Bayelsa, Delta and Akwa Ibom governors were too busy quenching internal fires to care about PDP’s future.
Interesting. cheesy

It’s not Wike’s fury that will kill the PDP. It’s the bad habits that it acquired for nearly 20 years when it was the ruling party and its inability to adapt. The party is used to free money and made a point to gorge itself on it remorselessly while in power.

It was either grabbing money from the centre or from the bottomless pockets of a few of its influential governors. Or from a few private businessmen for whose pleasure government captured the state. Those who wrote the cheques controlled the party, spreading their corrupting influence until the party collapsed under the weight of its own arrogance and impunity.

The party is in its fifth year out of power and most of its money taps are running dry. Two of its major sources of supply – Abuja and rogue businessmen – have dwindled, leaving only the third: one or two desultory governors in the South South. But the custodians of the party (and Atiku remains one of them) will do everything to extend the life of the party. Whatever its predicament, PDP would be the platform on which Atiku would run for presidency again, betting that the APC will implode after Buhari. Atiku is not done yet.
