Some nigerians are simply too depressed from electoral loss and has totally lost all traces of mental stability. They just wake up, make spurious claims, propagate same on social media and then the inconsolable donkeys from the Middle East consume and digest he lies hook line and sinker. When a lawsuit comes knocking, all they do is scream "they want to take away our freedom of speech/expression" as though freedom of speech also entails freedom to tarnish someone else's reputation of reckless abandon without question. And for those ignoramuses ranting about how the past admin NEVER threatened anyone with arrest or lawsuit over remarks directed at it, here's a little something to jog your memory: The presidency has warned the governor of Rivers state, Rotimi Amaechi to stop insulting president Goodluck Jonathan or be ready to face the consequences of his utterance, including legal actions.
In a strongly worded statement, Dr Abati cautioned Amaechi to stop black mailing the first lady as the only thing she demand from him is' good governance, justice, equity, fairness, real development and progress in Rivers State' and not money as Amaechi claimed.
m.thenigerianvoice.com/news/160718/presidency-warns-amaechi-to-stop-insulting-jonathan-threate.html Regardless, that they might not have threatened to sanction anyone probably should mean they were too dumb as a people to distinguish between an insult and a complement. |

This is really disappointing coming from a people assumed to be the most educated in Nigeria. Ekiti state has indeed hit rock bottom. |

Some people are obviously pained the Army under Buratai is winning the war in the North East. And this member registered 16 days ago only to spam the forum with pro-Boko Haram and Zakzaky threads. Very sure he's an Israeli imposter. Also too damn sure Ali Modu Shekau pencilled this trash down himself. |

Ecoterrorist: stop playing saint when you are the main culprit.
Dont make me go ballistic on u with this your saint attitude Since afternoon you've been sniffing after my rump with countless mentions, slyly insulting me, and all I've done is ignore you. Should I respond appropriately now, all you'd do is call Seun to ban me or you'd "expose the hypocrisy of nairaland". Don't you have any shame?? Is this how you'd keep running after a man who's shown you he gives less that one tenth of a fvck about ou?? |

Edit: Waiting for dunkem21 who "busted" Omenka back then for "pretending to be Igbo" to prove Omenka did pretend to be Igbo is like waiting for snow to fall in Abuja March. Bro how far naw? Chukazu: in politics, there's no permanent "friends" but permanent "interest"
Nigerian politics is devoid of ideology, what matters is where the power and money is.
in AMERICA, someone like COLLIN POWER decided to back OBAMA's presidency despite been a Republican. he never left his party to decamp to The Democrat party. but a Nigerian politician would immediately jump ship just for any amount. Who is Collin "Power"? |

ihatesycophant: What is double-speak in this? Do they protest in the hidden? This is not family matter that you will do under the roof. The protest of this magnitude should be done under the full glare of the masses and not in G.R.A's deserted street. Call anyone you know in Ilorin, if they hear or see any protest done on Thursday. I was privileged to see them on that street because I took some people to Lanjorin street on my way to Sabo -Oke, when I got to office, I was the one telling people about their gathering. The leader of the group was even reading from sheet of paper in his hand when the reporter asked him question. I'll reiterate again, many Kwarans are happy about his prosecution but no single soul dare protest in Kwara, the emirate guys will mob them. You said and I quote "No Single Soul Protested in Ilorin", then you still said you "were privileged to come across the protesters". Is there something I'm not getting?? |

Activa: Nigeria is lost to blind tribalism.
I thought an intelligent way to debunk the report is to analyze it point by point.
For example, was the contract awarded for N86billion?
Was a soil test done for the new runway?
Does the new runway flood?
Was the old runway done properly?
Is there a shuttle bus for passengers?
Is there a perimetre fence at the aiport?
Is there an Instrument Landing system?
Is the solar lighting on the runway working well?
Was there ever a case of a loiterer at the airport?
Can the runway accommodate big planes like Boeing 747 and 777?
Are the international airlines mentioned using the airport?
Rather than address the specific issues, you went for shameless dirty tribalism.
Is it that you lack logical reasoning? Is an airport with poor lighting, flooded runway, no ILS, no shuttle bus, no fence safe for human use?
Why are you not asking sensible questions about the shoddy execution of the contract? Abi na you be the yeye contractor?
Na wa for Nigerian youth. Many of them condone corruption more than the real thieves. You can count on the Israeli Yoots to protest on the forum, that is typical. Just waiting to see pics of them brandishing banners on the streets in protest against th "harassment of their sister". |

ihatesycophant: SaharaReporters will continue selling dummy to some people. No single person protested in Ilorin.
Only few people not number up to 30 congregated along deserted flower garden around 12noon... I drove passed them and I even told those I was carrying that before will know it they will say they're protesting. Do they do protest in the hiding? If they are bold enough, they should go to Post Office or Station and stage their protest if they would not be mobbed.
Whoever know Ilorin very well... Na wa oo!! Which kain double speaking be dis?? Rotflmao... |

BenBruce4Presdt: Omenka, this your "let the process of healing begin" on your signature..
Pls could you remind me since when you changed that..
And also, I will be grateful if can prepare my mind with some info of when I could start expecting this healing, cos for about 1yr now my business has taken a painful battering.. My signature was reviewed to what it is today just after the election. We all saw how polarised Nigerians became before the election, so when folks created threads mocking the PDP supporters over their loss, I rather extended a hand of friendship hoping we could build this thing together. I wasn't necessarily asking anyone not to be critical of the government but what I was demanding was an end to the bad blood and the ethnoreligious hate, I even created a thread to that effect. Obviously, events have shown these PDP supporters would NEVER get over their loss and have chosen to remain stuck in the past no matter what! Then I resolved, if they prefer to play hard ball I'd be more than obliged to have it their way. Matter of fact, I think it is time I re-edited the siggy to reflect my current mood. For the Change APC promised, I don't know if you voted APC or believed in their mission, but those of us who did are patient enough to understand this is just a passing storm and it affects us all. We weren't expecting the "healing" to happen overnight- after all, as you said, it is healing and not a "miracle". Boko Haram has been dealt with as promised, corruption is being tackled as promised. The economic crises has much more extrinsic factors pushing it, factors beyond the immediate control of the State. A little more time is required. Check this out- if Nigerians could endure 16years, how much more FOUR?? Patience dear, patience... |
