Hmmm. Some people don price market wey dem no go fit buy oo.

I don't see how the culprits wouldn't be fished out- it is nearly impossible.

My deepest condolences to his family as I hope they get closure from the speedy apprehension and prosecution of those behind the unfortunate incident.

You do not have to like it, it's alien to you, some don't like the Europeans' monarchy as well, despite itO having zero to do with the general day to day running of the country & implementation of policies....

However, some of us find it curious that anyone with a little change to rub together can buy himself a certain "colour of cap" & then proceed to lord it over other people, no order, no structure in place!!!

There is a reason why there is only one head on a human body... only one heart in human engine room..

Even in the animal kingdom, despite being ferocious wild cats, a pride of lion will always have just one LEADER, i.e The Alpha Male that will serve as a rallying force...

Even in Democracy, we can't have more than one President, Prime minister or Chancellor...... having more than one captain steering a ship leads to nothing but chaos. cool
Someone attacks with a needle and you come out blasting with a magnum.

BTW,
Whenever i see all these NL guys pics, i get discouraged replying quotes and pm.
A man's appearance shouldn't be the yardstick for chatting with them or replying their messages- what they have to say should be most important. Not saying you aren't entitled to your priorities though.

Meanwhile, you might wanna adjust your shirt a lil. Something to the left is trying to poke its titt head out.

One thing I know is that corruption and impunity is not as it used to be.

Everyone wants a miracle but very few are willing to pay the price.

The pain of the past is what has been passed on but reconstruction is on-going. Of course, we would expect to have a lot of saboteurs in this government.

One thing to note is that mopping up the mess would take some time before the good days come.

well , if you're talking about promotions every outfit works within a certain budget ceiling and you don't promote people just for fun . Money must change hand .
But when it comes to corruption you've said it all , and they all stink.
You need to read what was said about how the promotions was handled. It has nothing to do with budget ceiling. Besides, if you aren't going to promote them, why conduct promotion exams in the first place??

Why are these states classified as north? I mean i am from benue state and we are not north we don not want to north. I do not know much about the pre-colonial divisions. Can someone explain to me how.
We should call people like Paul Unongo and ask him. cheesy

You are right though, Benue, Kogi, and Plateau states especially. I usually prefer the "Middle Belt" connotation than the North Central.

I remember when I was serving in Warri, dudes there used to think Benue is predominantly Hausa/Muslims. Little did they know the population of Muslims in Benue is less than 3% cheesy

Modify:

Just read the entire article and I'm really speechless as to the revelations therein. Frankly, when one reads about the malfeasanse of some of these public officers, one can't help but wonder if they're possessed with a thousand demons! Like hell, why are they so heartless?? Why would you wanna deny a civil servant promotion due them?? How does promoting someone adversely affect your own life as the boss of an establishment?? I just don't get it.

With the weight of the evidence against the man and the ease with which witnesses can be secured (given the number of complainants from the establishment itself), it shouldn't be tall order nailing this particular crook and his criminal "sidekick".

Such unbridled access to slush funds are the reason these public officers throw such big parties/thanksgiving when given appointments. They know "it is their turn to chop" and do so with reckless abandon.

With this damning report, the EFCC should immediately swing into action and ensure they nail the criminal.

What a disgrace he is to the Awos.

Instead of GEJ to attend to the Chibok girls issue, he went for PDP rally where he was photographed dancing with some women with big ukwu.

He still waited for Malala's advise before he invited the Chibok girls parent for meeting. Then turned his blame to US for not selling arms while Dasuki office was used to steal over 2.1 Billion dollars.

Today is exactly a year we the good people of this nation voted out the clueless and wicked man.

Not hating, but..

1. Why does the car look so dirty, like some last grade "direct Cotonou".

2. Why is vanity so pervasive in our churches today. Why so much emphasis on title, like: "Bishop Dr ... Blablabla"?? If he's simply called "Bishop xyz", would he lose his dignity??

Dem go carry church money buy themselves cars and private jets, carry themselves go organise bikini birthday party for Dubai, den turn back dey job us say na wealthy church member(s) do am.

I have always try to ignore you
Well today I went through your profile and your location @ omenka ?
You don't stay in Rivers state and you are not even from here .
Brother focus on your state and hope they are paying salary or rather thinking of building monorail
So many bad road and undeveloped areas need roads and drainage which cost billions
Why wast money on air when the ground is not good
Lastly before I go to back to my office
Omenka what's your state of origin be proud for once and tell us
Hope your governor has many monorails??
"You've always tried to ignore me"?? Like, wtf. I don't even notice you at all, seeing the moniker for the first time.

Who gives a fart whether or not you ignore anyone?? Matter of fact, I'd prefer if none of you even quote me or mention my moniker because you hardly make any sense when you speak.

Keep ignoring me bro, it's best for you.

By the way, your diction sucks big time- got me wondering what manner of "office" you were "walking back to".

In as much as I do not support the abandonment of any project , there is still need for accountability and if Amaechi refuses to account for his 8 yrs of recklessness while galivanting with your anti-corruption czar then it is proper for Wike to abandon that project let it serve as a stark reminder to Amaechi.
Wike should please abandon it without looking back bro. He has my full support.
Politics › Re: I Won’t Touch Amaechi’s Rivers Monorail- Wike by omenka(m): 6:15pm On Mar 28, 2016
Just imagine how petty a man who calls himself a people's leader can get. He wouldn't touch it simply because it was initiated by Amaechi, and folks who've never been to Rivers and have no idea the importance of the project to the people of Rivers state would sit in their cocoons typing their endorsements away. At the end of the day, some fools would come tell me how I'm inconsiderate with my comments. cheesy

You don't have to fight everyone to make a point. Actually, when you keep trying to prove you don't care about what people say, it's because what they say is getting to you.

Just appraise your life and determine if you're actually right, let your conscience be your judge and let your lifestyle be your yardstick.

Finally, once in a while do tell yourself the truth; even if it's contrary to what you're paid to do.
Bro, like I said, I don't give a fvck about you.

Thanks. smiley

Your style is actually dirty, I don't do politics nor support politicians,
Are you a politician? Do you hold any public office? Do you benefit from the current crisis? In other countries political office holders can not do as they want, the populace will revolt and keep them on track, with your attitude nothing will definitely get better if we all are like you, unless they feed your family but if not, it's so foolish of anyone to support them when we need to despise them
I really don't give a fvck about you bro. And I certainly don't need your endorsement to form an opinion.

By the way, thank God for your own style which is "very neat". And also for those who run around the forum insulting anyone who dares to hold a contrary opinion from them. Your styles are VERY neat.

You can now shove your style in your pocket and get out of my face.

Thanks.

You know, people who think only from one direction is the most difficult to deal with.

The only valid agreement that will really see the end of this kind of chaos is for those herdsmen to vacate that village, else, they will still fight someday. And if care is not taken, they will begin to lay claims of lands in that Agatu which will lead to more bloodshed.
You know, people should learn to find out details about an event before commenting on them.
