themilanway:You would make a very resourceful town-crier. ![]() |
Lalasticlala, aren't you done with today's service yet ![]() |
joseph1832:Bro what more can I say. I remember those pictures they flooded the forum with back then, pics that were proven to be false. Now the truth is gushing out, like sewage out of a broken septic tank and the stench have all of them clutching their noses. Time will tell. |
Coming from SUN, I doubt PDP supporters would have any tangible defense. I doubt Jonathan would go to jail, but I'm too sure he'd forfeit some properties and bank accounts through some back end deals with the authorities. But Dasuki's fate is sealed- he's going to jail- ditto Dokpesi. |
OMG!!! Where were all these guys taking these dollars to?? Gosh!! PDP supporters can all see these, from Dasuki to Oduah, a mass assault on our dollar reserves, most of which must have been laundered abroad, making the currency scarce locally thereby putting so much pressure on the naira with the attendant consequences we see today. Yet they try to blame the depreciation of the value of the naira on the current government. Smh. Very commendable investigative work by the paper. Never heard of them but I think they know their onions. How in God's name didn't SR or PT get the scoop before these guys?? ![]() |
I bet not too many people would be interested in such events. It is just a Carroll for Christ's sake. ![]() Nevertheless, I know it would be transformed into a PDP campaign event where all manner of religious innuendos would be used to campaign against Dakuku since he belongs to a "Muslim Party" and Muslims don't celebrate Christmas. Cc: Mama Peace. |
How did his nephew who has never worked in his life accumulate over N850 million in his bank accountSomebody must have wet their pant on seeing that acc number. ![]() I see Baba pursuing these criminals with all his might and wisdom given that we might not be earning as much as 50% of our revenue to finance 2016 budget from oil sales- the price may drop below 20dpb given the latest US policy. I really feel for the president, coming in at a very difficult time like this. Had previous governments done what they were supposed to do when we had so much perhaps there would have been sufficient cushion one would have hardly felt the impact of the crashing oil price. They made so much noise, held conferences, proposed policies for diversification of the economy, all of which ended on paper since oil prices kept rising. They were so lazy, sloppy and addicted to petrodollars and squandered the windfall with reckless abandon- now we are here. Same criminals and their gang of brainwashed supporters want us to rebuild what they took 16 years to destroy in just 7months! Baba, make sure every single penny in their possession is recovered using whatever means necessary. We cannot afford to fail on this budget and Nigerians would not accept excuses! |
seunmsg:It breaks my heart reading some posts on this forum honestly. How could a normal human being possibly reason the way some of these guys do?? Haba?? Dem curse dem?? |
The name of the company alleged to have supervised the disbursement sounds like they are into energy/petroleum. Pray tell, how can the propriety of their involvement possibly be explained?? To make matters worse, it is a private company. What a mess. |
kettykings:When I read this post, I felt like throwing up. Gosh!! How did we come about people like this in this country?? Is Nigeria cursed or something?? Even though I doubt the authenticity of this news due to the source, I ask, is LI supposed to be above the law and exempt from her duties as a citizen of this country and a business woman in Lagos because "she's Igbo"?? People who visit her are drawn from many tribes, Yorubas inclusive. They help to give her the traffic which makes businesses [want to] advertise on her blog thereby helping her make money. But suddenly, when the government comes after her for tax evasion, it becomes a "Yoruba vendetta". How could an issue of tax evasion be reduced to a tribal thing?? God forbid!! Tufia!! |
I'm ashamed for this dude. Bro stop trying too hard. Your fame would return when it will. Smh. |
Op did you also tell him we said he looks like Obama but thinks like Obanikoro?? Did you tell him he's referred to as Obamanokoro?? If you didn't then you did your fellow forumites great injustice. By the way, there is nothing to "caption" in the pic. "Captions" are necessary when there is something "unusual" about a pic but in this case, it is what it is- just a selfie. |
OFFICIAL336:Oh, I'm sorry to have responded to you and mentioned you in my penultimate post. Thought I was talking to someone who thinks rationally. Please do ignore this post and the others. I will make sure your message gets to "my FG". Thanks. |
olabukola:You see, to add to what I wrote earlier, the constant threats by the militants over moves by the government to hold their leaders to account (which should be commended by all and sundry as have been by those people that were shortchanged in the land deal for which EFCC invited Tompolo) is the reason why I subscribe to Ben Bruce's ideas in one article he published recently. He stated that the panacea to the restiveness in the ND is a discovery of oil in commercial quantities in some other part of the country. That would act to counterbalance any disruption in production in the ND. He was right on the money with the article. Very interesting and enlightening piece he wrote. Would look for it and upload the link here. Cc: OFFICIAL336. |
OFFICIAL336:Read my post again, I asked a question: would their parents, siblings and relatives be insulated from the effects of all these you've mentioned Why chop off the nose to spite the face?? Isn't that total foolishness![]() |
And someone with a brain would believe this trash actually came from the government of Iran. Na wa oo. Perhaps, what a poster said about "blacks" earlier is true. |
Tell them Op!! Lalasticlala, what do you think?? |
EternalTruths:During the height of their campaign in Obj's era when he battled NDPVF, MEND et al, why didn't the price crash but kept rising steadily?? That is because whatever supplies they were adding wasn't significant enough to make a dent on the price of oil internationally. And who said they only got their weapons through batter (oil for arms)?? We know they also buy arms from monies realized from kidnapping and taking ransoms, and from their covert sponsors who might be government officials. Even the activities of the Taliban and Al Qaeda put together didn't push down oil prices yet someone thinks the activities of ND militants will. Oga you are too damn ignorant jor. Have a nice day. |
Mr Obamanikoro, just play your role by ensuring a speedy passage of the 2016 budget, and stop constituting yourself into a miscreant on social media. |
EternalTruths:Imagine the trash someone comes up with to validate a trash. Gosh!! So the militants now compare to ISIS in terms of reach and strength?? What's their area of influence compared to ISIS?? Which vessels are they going to transport them with ![]() di they have tankers the size in ISIS's control (if your theory of them selling oil to nations is anything to go by.) The campaign of the militants (perhaps I should call them terrorists since you've decided to compare them to isis) has always been to disrupt production as they did in Obj's and Yaradua's era.... Why am I even explaining shiit to someone like you. Look, suit yourself. Believe what you may. It's your life. |
Now, someone tell me how this is different than the cautionary notes sounded by the APC in the run up to the general elections?? Yet PDP supporters wouldn't see it. Smh. |
dearpreye:That struck out portion I disagree. That's profiling and somewhat racist. Given, we need to put up some restrictive measures on our birth rate if we desire to re-enact the economic miracles of the likes of Malaysia and China. The resources we have at our disposal currently can hardly cater for the entire population, over stretching them to their limits be they financial or infrastructural. It is our hope that as the masses become more and more educated and enlightened, birth control measures would be adopted on personal/individual basis without constitutional amendment/enforcement. That is why an aggressive investment in education is imperative to every country that seeks sociopolitical/religious/economic emancipation. We will surely get there sooner than we think. |
igwe44:2. Don't abuse, bully, deliberately insult/provoke, fight, or wish harm to Nairaland members OR THEIR TRIBES. Cc: Mynd44. Whether the "Igwe44s" of this country like it or not, Nairaland rules must be enforced and respected. Thank you. |
Such a painful experience. It takes very little persuasion for folks like this to take up arms and join the terrorists. I'm sure there are others like him going through a similar experience. He should sue them for emotional, physical and reputational damages should they refuse to duly apologize and compensate him. |
porka:Did Kolade say the SURE-p was fraught with fraud or not?? You say I lie and you are the one whose post is riddled with barefaced lies . I don't respond to things like you. Oga, Suit yourself. It is your life not mine. |
Tolexander:The word is "bereft", you illiterate. Very typical of Epkas. Lies, lies, and more lies. |
Fingers crossed. That's all I can say for now. The volatility of the oil industry is such that I can't put my bet on such a projection. |
The one simple question this entire rant by the union couldn't answer is why are they being sacked?? Besides, the action was initiated under Jonathan's admin and they only look forward to a reversal under Baba. Whatever it is, I hope Baba eventually listens and have they grievances resolved in such a manner as not to cause so much uproar. |
Why has Vanguard been so fixated on these stories?? FG should keep an eye on those guys. |
aminho:I dey tell you. Those guys sniff news like German Shepherds would sniff cocaine. ![]() Has anyone heard about funeral arrangements for Alams, or they don't intend to bury the man ![]() |
