Everyone is talking about being marginalised these days. I think we are fast approaching that point where either all of the various nationalities go their separate ways or we practice true federalism just like the US. Only time will tell. |
MadCow1:Kai, na lie jor! |
NaijaTalkTown:Honestly me sef dey laff. ![]() |
egift:Imagine the deadbeat daydreaming I'd quote him to respond to the trash he posted. Some people around here definitely got lots of screws loose upstairs. I wonder how the cow even got time to study his lecture notes when he spends virtually 90% of his time daily posting trash on the forum. Shame a shame he must be to his family. |
The truth is most people who bother about where an appointee comes from is more interesting in "chopping" than working. Their prayer is the person appointed from their region is someone they know so they can go and beg for contract.-- AZeD1 (2015) |

drss:My children and children's children won't look to secure employment- they will be employers. It is high time some of you changed your orientation. And who says the realization of the biafra dream would translate into automatic employment?? Do you people even listen to yourselves when you talk at all?? |
Sweetlemon:Throwing in the towel now would mean succumbing to the baleful tantrums of these fickle minded goombahs. Contrary to what they might assume, my faith in the president and his policies is fortified by their constant needless critical bombardment of his every action regardless of their propriety. They've called me all manner of names pre and post election from a slave to a fool simply because I refuse to trudge along the same road to perdition with them. I grew a very thick skin to all their bullshiit long ago and would recommend you stay the course and grow one yourself. Some of these guys have lost their souls beyond every hope of redemption and would do anything to ensure they rob their misery off anyone they come in contact with, whether in real life or in the virtual world. |
During the outbreak of violenceThey would rather ignore this and dwell on the other. Such anancephalous hypocritical scoundrels. |
He was in a military tribunal- and so what You guys should keep finding faults while real Nigerians keep making progress. |

Wish him a spectacular outing. |
My dear Sweetlemon, it is a big shame honestly. The elevation of mundane sentiments to such heights as to be the major determinants of who gets what became the norm under that useless ex president- it is the only legacy he left behind after his nearly six years of utter misrule. He has fractured the Nigerian psyche along such lines as ethnicity, religion and region so much so that even supposed educated fellows have now joined the bandwagon of celebration of mediocrity just as long as "their brother" is the mediocre. All I do is ignore those nuances whenever I can and try to persuade those who care to listen that these faultlines are being accentuated and even in some cases created by politicians who leverage on them to consolidate their power. I have never had a doubt in my mind Baba means well for this nation and no amount of blackmail by those who swore Baba would fail and would never see anything good in any action he takes would change that belief. They can wail for all I care- it is not like they have anything else to do with their lives. |

During the outbreak of violenceInteresting... |
Some things you read just make you wanna shed tears for this country. What in the gracious name of God does one need over five cars for?? Are these guys normal upstairs at all?? Haba!! I think all these political office holders should undergo very stringent psychological screening before being allowed even to pick up nomination forms. Most of them wind up acting like animals honestly. This is so appalling. ![]() |
midolian:I don't know about the monies he stole, but that about him selling off one of the Diepreye's confiscated properties to his younger brother is just the height of it. Let the axe come down if it will. Baba has my support any day, any time. I'm sick and tired of all these goats that can't just keep to eating grasses but want to have the yams as well. ![]() |
Rotflmao. ![]() ![]() The chicken would soon come home to roost! PDP- share the votes!! ![]() |
Lalasticlala can we give this more coverage so we can have more people learn about and possibly participate in the rally. Thanks. |
doctokwus:I said all well meaning Nigerians need to throw their weight behind Buhari in his bid to rid the system of the plague called corruption and some people called me a fool. Here are real Nigerians doing what is right and not some nutjob tribal punks. Good call NLC. |
We know what scannews, breakingtimes, hopefornigeria and guardiannewsusa stand for- nevertheless, let me oblige you guys with a little details regarding this perfidy. This is an excerpt from the article I wrote some time back- opportunity cost of corruption under GEJ: Danyang–Kunshan Grand Bridge: Nothing demonstrates Jonathan's grand deceit than his non-completion of the second Niger Bridge which happened to be one of his strongest campaign promises during 2011 elections. He even went as far as saying he'd go on exile if he doesn't complete that bridge before 2015!!When you compare these in terms of cost and magnitude, you see what a gargantuan scam the contract for the second Niger bridge is. It must be reviewed (not scrapped) to save cost. |
Paschal001:They must. Good morning Mr Lalasticlala. Hope you slept well... |
All well meaning Nigerians, for the love of their children and the sake of their future, need to throw their weight behind this admin. Baba is indeed passionate about charting a new course for the collective emancipation of this country, salvaging it from those dark forces that have held it down for ages. We had this consensus 90% of the problems we face in the country are symptomatic of the deep seated rot of corruption nurtured by successive administrations. These forces are trying hard, using all means legal and otherwise, to thwart the government's effort at cleansing the system of the rot which only benefits the elites. It pains me no end to see the youths who've no doubt borne the brunt of this incessant pillaging of our common patrimony defend these men so viciously- men whose abode as we speak should be nowhere but some dingy cell in a maximum security prison. May God guide and protect Buhari as he carries on with this arduous task of rewriting the future path of this nation. |
Bunch of layabouts. It really pains me just how much we pay these guys for doing virtually nothing. Since they've been beaten on this, I see them breathing heavily down the necks of the MDAs they oversight to make up for the depletion in their atrocious emoluments. Next should be our state houses of assembly and other public officials. |
I'd rather go to hell than support that party. There is absolutely nothing glorious about PDP, just a haven for the most corrupt, eccentric, vile and hateful set of Nigerians. I hope the party dies and never wakes up again. |
Syenite:Do you still need an answer to this? ![]() |

sunnyb0b0:Jonathan reeks of corruption so badly his stench can be perceived hundreds of miles away. I wonder what he was doing holding Baba's hands, famzing like the f***tard he is. I wouldn't touch him with a 100 metres pole. Stick to your topic boy. Do not derail. |
