Rilwayne001:Nah, let them keep coming. I'd like to see them admitted into the party and subsequently used for anti-corruption target practices. At least, that way, the melodramatic Wailing Wailers would spare us their irritating noise about the probes being lopsided. David Mark too is welcome, even Alison Opolo-Eyes Madueke. |
Stale. Nothing rare about the picture. We saw a lot of these just before May 29. |
Best thing that ever happened to that country was getting rid of Jonathan. Isn't it amazing how fiercely the man fought to retain power using all manner of devious means from lies, propaganda, intimidation and blackmail, yet some redundant imps tried to force feed us stories about how quickly he desired to relinquish power? Indeed God had a hand in what happened in that election. God bless father Mbaka for telling the world the truth then. |
When Lalasticlala first broke this news here, the offender's name didn't show up, I was glad it didn't, and it was a sad day for ethic bigots. Now it has been revealed, watch what would become of this thread. Smh. |
luvinhubby:You no well. I think dude might be fulfilling one of the requirements for blood money. Don't be surprised to see him behind the wheels of a G-Wagon tomorrow. |
SeverusSnape:Much as it pains me, let me respond to this. Never in the history of this country did we earn as much from oil as we did under Jonathan when oil prices at some point hovered above the $150 mark. The windfall was gargantuan! If your Lord Commander and mentor wasn't the fool he was he would have built structures that would have served as buffers for rainy days given we all know how volatile the international oil market is, but no, he preferred spending all our earnings budgeting billions for feeding alone and hundreds of millions to tend to flowers and Aso Rock pets. And if you weren't the barrel head you are who understands absolutely nothing but to throw muds at everything with an imprint of Buhari, you would have understood such a simple economic concept. Now trudge along. I've got too much work to do and I believe you've got lectures to attend to. |
Abugab:Exactly my thought. I've never seen such greedy elites like those in Nigeria. They would have government spend just about everything conceivable on them- I can wager save for the embarrassment of the stench of their poop, they would have had people taking poop out their assess for them so they don't have to do the pushing! They have the money and private security firms abound, let them hire some officials if they need some. ![]() |
Lol. The people that appear to be whining the most about this anti corruption crusade of Mr President are people who've held very high positions in the country. They believe if this war rages long enough, it just might consume them eventually, so they wanna hide under the cloak of "fairness" to blackmail the president and make him take his foot off the gas pedal. They talk about appointments as though they are fast going hungry. The grim reality is that these men only survive on free meals from the government like refugees whereas ordinary Nigerians sweat it out on the streets daily earning an honest living without whining about who gets appointed or not. What a shame. On the sidelines let me add an interesting part: “For Nigeria to succeed in the war to eliminate the cancerous spread of this malaise, all those who contributed in one way or another to ruin the prospects of a great country like Nigeria and have brought us to this despicable position should be made to account for their actions.I thought these men agreed with the ex president corruption is overrated and that he fought it to a stand still "without making noise" like Baba, and built an Eldorado that is an envy of even south Africa- so can someone tell me- where are the bolded in the quotes above coming from ![]() |
bebene:Na wa oo. Are you sure you understand what is being said here at all They say the economy is shrinking and you are screaming you want to see the evidence of it shrinking on ordinary people since you are tired of seeing just figures. Smh.@Post: What would one expect when a country vehemently refused to diversify her economy over decades, depending solely on oil, the price of which is below $40 per barrel today? I don't see the "shocker" here. As international oil price goes, so goes the Nigerian economy- simple. |
naijaking1:It is a military inquiry and who best to handle it than themselves?? Also, remember we have accountants, forensic experts, lawyers, doctors etc in the military. Not all military men are combatants. |
Some people are definitely not gonna like this. ![]() |
The only time I ever had true respect for our legislators was during the days of Ken Nnamani. David Mark took over and turned it into one terrible circus show. Now they don't even seem to have any idea whatsoever why they are there in the first place. What a pity. Perhaps they should have demanded GCFR. |
Happiness87:It is bad enough being an illiterate, but when one is a dumb illiterate it becomes a double tragedy. People like this are the type we are forced to contend with on cyberspace. |
bcomputer101:Read my first post and you'd understand what he's doing. It is a shame the people of Ekiti can't see beyond his gimmicks. |
Isn't it obvious. I could remember saying it the other time that he practices the kind of politics Emperors of Old Italy practiced- distract citizens from noticing the rot in government by constantly putting up spectacular gladiator shows in the Coliseum (Fayose's Coliseum is the streets and the market) - and at some point someone created a thread asking the admirers of the governor to show us projects that have been completed or initiated by the governor and as suspected, not even a toadstool was shown us! Granted, the man is smart. He steals a billion from the people and in return buys soup ingredients worth at most 5 thousand naira from them, dance in the streets with them, take an okada ride with them, give them chickens for christmas, etc creating an impression he's one of them and then they totally lose sight of the ball, the reason why he was elected in the first place. He understands once the ordinary man on the street have your back, you can just about do whatever you want without fear of a backlash politically- they would rise to your defense at the snap of a finger and due to their sheer numbers, it would be in the interest of your opponents not to push too hard and have those "ordinary people" come after them. It is unfortunate same people that are insisting on ripping Buhari apart in just under two months after taking office see nothing wrong with Fayose who's got absolutely nothing to his credit in nearly a year. I don't know how long it would take before the people of Ekiti who used to pride themselves as very shrewd set of people wake up from their mental slumber, but the earlier they realize they've been subjects of a very deceptive form of politics, the better for them. |
FrankAba1:Yes I am. So?? |
hahn:Mehn, ditched that years ago- I think 15 years now. ![]() Saint Monkey T!! ![]() |
hahn:Baba, not just you, I'm getting "in the spirit" even as we speak, and guess what- it's the same brand Bros Jay was drinking in the picture Fastshipping posted. ![]() |
midolian:You don man finish aswear!! Rotflmao!! ![]() ![]() ![]() |
doncaster:Yes I am. So because I'm a middle beltan I shouldn't have an opinion about how the past admin should be evaluated ![]() |
hahn:Yeah, the wings were fully formed. Had Charles Darwin been still alive, the sighting would have made for a great research work on evolution and natural selection. |
Abati's brain was still booting when he made this statement. Dude's just emerging from months old hibernation and needs some time to gather his thoughts together. Need we reprimand him?? |
FastShipping:Talk about a picture and a thousand words. |
If Jonathan doesn't drink, then I saw an Ostrich flying across the Indian ocean last night. |
ideykwum:Thanks for your comments, and best of luck to you too. |
I've got some reservation over the source of this news, but if truly there's some substance to it, I'd say Saraki's sin is, to me, unpardonable. Defying party's directive is one thing but diluting the leadership of the Senate at the topmost level is another thing all together. As long as Ekweremadu, a PDP member, remains there, I don't see anyone forgiving Saraki. This is politics, and in this game, you don't fortify the defenses of your opponent- you try to diminish them. Simple. |
ideykwum:I'm sorry if that is the vibe I'm giving off. Of course I never used to comment of threads of this nature, but it gets to a point where some of these things just annoy you so much you almost lose your mind. Imagine people now equate being a staunch APC supporter to being a muslim and someone who hates Igbos!! How does one fold his hand and see himself painted in such manner?? No one has summoned the attention of Ishilove to threads on tribal bashing than myself (I believe she can attest to that) and it didn't manner whether it was Igbos taking it out on Yorubas or vice versa, but at some point I simply gave up on doing so because as you take down one of such threads, five more are created!!! Just take a look at this board and see it has now been transformed into nothing but a tribal, ethnic and secessionist board rather than what it was meant for- politics. You are right I might have been sounding a little off key lately, I'd admit my fault, but I certainly don't wish any ethnic group "in general" harm. For what its worth, these faultlines are being accentuated by politicians just to divide us, preserve our loyalty, and consolidate their influence over state affairs. I'd take a step back in the hope I don't become completely consumed by the hate that has taken over this board lately. |
Visocrate:That is an Oba, and indeed it was a terrible thing to say. But if the Oba deserves a bulala, what would the wife of the ex president who advocated "stoning" of APC supporters in the full glare of the public ![]() |
SeverusSnape:You see why ignoring you is what suits you best? Even when I wrote that the Oba stepped out of line and that I condemned his statement then and still hold the same opinion, you still see that as a "defense" in favour of the Oba. Well, that speaks volume of the manner of "education" most of you acquired. And the sooner you understand I've ignoring your mentions for months(even though you may be too dumb to see that), the better for you. |
I still insist most PDP supporters on this forum are unadulterated hypocrites. These were same people who tried to bark down ICC like mad rabid dogs when the court moved to investigate Shepopotamus over her "stone anyone who shouts Change" statement. The Oba fvcked up and if he must be dealt with, so be it. But yall are no better. |
