Barcanista!!!!

I thought you claimed the government does not care about the citizens hence the reason why they did not visit them?

Paper weight opposition.
It is such a shame what these guys have turned the politics board into. At every turn, you see hate induced personal threads with no substance whatsoever, simply because they lost out in the elections. Barely 24hrs after the incident, they had already created dozens of threads to spite the gentlemen accusing them of everything save impregnating their sisters. Now he has visited, I wonder what would be their next line of argument- let me guess- "Buhari hates Igbos and Christians otherwise he would have visited the people himself!"

Such a damn shame.

Wishing the victims speedy recovery and the families of the deceased the strength to pull through such horrific tragedy.

God bless Nigeria.

I urge all well meaning progressives not to comment on any of these threads henceforth. Those who imagine the best way forward is to churn out one lie after another against the president should be left to have their good time on their threads. Just ignore when you see them.

Thanks.
Politics › Re: Buhari Is Capable Of Leading Nigeria - Edwin Clark by omenka(m): 6:04pm On Jun 03, 2015
Rawani:
They are too consumed by hatred and bigotry to be objective enough to see that these 'leaders' are just selfish hacks that preach hatred and division for the sole aim of enriching themselves. Imagine how Clark is slurping on his vomit with relish, yet some people fail to realize that bad leadership and not marginalization is the primary cause of the poor state of the regions preaching division.
How they hold unto those warped opinions and selfish beliefs that are mostly the brainchild of these greedy and selfish "elders" is a course for serious concern indeed. They spurn reason and logic embracing ignorance as though they were holding unto dear life. With the passage of time, I'm hopeful these guys would see the light and accept the truth for what its worth. There's hardly more one could really do about it.

Politics › Re: Senate Passes Sexual Offences Bill, Endorses Life Jail For Rapists by omenka(m): 5:56pm On Jun 03, 2015
Ok. Not bad. I wish they had considered a bill to criminalise jungle justice and mob action, making both punishable by life behind bars. It is high time we started behaving like civilised human beings in this country and not some cavemen driven by primordial instincts.

Nice one guys.
Politics › Re: Buhari Is Capable Of Leading Nigeria - Edwin Clark by omenka(m): 5:49pm On Jun 03, 2015
Rawani:
This is interesting. I hope all the children of pain, anger and frustration will heed this call to support President Buhari instead of wasting productive time scanning the President's wife's body in the name of opposition. Meanwhile, someone is desperately looking for relevance in Buhari's government.

This is the same Edwin Clark, the ‘great leader’ and elder of the Ijaw nation and the political and spiritual father of former President Jonathan just 4 months ago in Akwa-Ibom State;

“It’s clear that apart from clinging to sectional, ethnic and religious sentiments, the APC presidential candidate has no idea of running a democratic state. Mohammadu Buhari is a personality drenched in controversy because of his sordid dark past; Nigeria is ahead of his puerile and barren ideology, which remains stagnant. The APC political marriage is about accomplishing selfish, personal desire rather than the wellbeing of Nigerians,”

http://www.naij.com/375502-edwin-clark-says-buhari-cant-rule-a-democratic-state.html

This is rich coming from Clark of all people.
I hope those that keep fanning the embers of hatred, intolerance and war are reading this. Nigeria is bigger than them.
Politics › Re: Buhari Criticism Complains: Are Critics Guilty Of Hate? by omenka(m): 2:37pm On Jun 03, 2015
PassingShot:
In fact, I will personally start a group of patriotic Nairalanders against bad governance of PMB here and call people of like minds such as your humble self, Omenka, Dearpreye and some others to sustain the criticism. Not this blind one.
The politics board has been turned into one uninhabitable jungle by the pdp supporters with the kind of threads they spam it with. Reason why I decided to steer clear lately. The imaturity is sickening.

Just as you, I don't freaking car a hoot if the key positions are given to expertriates from Tibet, all I wanna see is a properous country. Why is it so ddifficult for people to look t things from such. Holistic perspective??
What we have is one impostor less. Good they are hanging up early. I wish Buhari and his supporters the same things they wished Goodluck and Nigeria. Nothing is more preposterous than a pretentious SOB. Mo*gidi, no shaking, we shall see the end of this. angry angry angry angry
You see dearpreye, this, sadly, are the kind of folks that populate the support camp of PDP. Once you bear a different opinion from theirs, once you attempt a different narrative, you instantly become an imposter, an SOB, an outcast, JUST LIKE AMAECHI. The same way they call me a muslim simply because I tend to stand against lumping them all together as almajeris and terrorists.

Expect more of these in the hours ahead.

Cheers.

Life is love - enjoy it.

Stop trying to make yourself appear like the op. You guys are worlds apart. Much of what he said were true of him but you are a two faced hypocrite. Just earlier, on a thread about a head of state's visit to Rufai, you typed "when would the Iranian or Iraqi presidents visit Borno state governor" confirming your thinly veiled religious bigotry. People of your mindset are some of the biggest problems afflicting this country. You scuff at people's culture and religion and draw a lot of comfort and satisfaction from their misery. Makes me wonder what part of the element of humanity you got missing in your souls.

@dearpreye:
We must desist from the unpatriotic act of subtly wishing him to fail in order to confirm our apprehension. Even GEJ will be shocked at that! He won't support such an idea. PMB fails, we fail. He succeeds, we succeed.
God bless you for these lines. It really buggles the mind why anyone would wish their president fails. I just don't get it.

I guess your parochial mind did not consider the we as NigerianS, plural in an undefined manner as per winner of the March 28 elections, or did you huh

Hopefully you will retrieve your certificate from the goat before it is chewed up completely and your principal have to write another grin
Ok. I think your problem lies with the words "inclusive" and "exclusive". cheesy

Got a report to write. wink

Does it matter how he voted individually when he is writing in the PLURAL huh

Abi goat chop your certificate too ni? grin grin
I think you don't even have a cert, not to talk of a goat having access to it.

Just for your education, "we" is a subject inclusive and not "exclusive" term. So when one says "we" they mean themselves and others.

Hope you learnt something new today.... smiley

GEJ him self was unstable throughout his stay @ the event especially when he was on the podium with buhari, his brisk handshake during the ceremony say a lot, it is either GEJ is confused/fume or he is in a hurry to leave eagle square.
Noticed that too. He was just there smiling sheepishly. Buhari had to literally turn him around to face the cameras during the handshake. cheesy
Politics › Re: Let Someone Pls Explain This To FFK by omenka(m): 10:51am On May 30, 2015
Absolutely. He shouldn't get his hopes up over nothing.

Buhari would definitely forgive all the insults and mudslinging, passing them off as mere "politics", but stealing isn't "politics".

FFK take note.
