OrlandoOwoh:I'm actually judging from the 2011 presidential debate. He showed very good oratorial skills. |
Without bias, my pick would be Shekarau. |
Obinoscopy:These are VERY interesting too. You might wanna check them out. ww.nairaland.com/2014316/presidency- caught-showcasing-kwankwasos-projects www..com.ng/index.php/national-news/ item/1641-busted-presidency-caught- showcasing-kwankwaso-s-projects-as-jonathan- s-achievement-in-north-west Who lies more than the presidency ![]() |
Obiagelli:Leave them let them keep deceiving themselves. Who the hell is the op to tell us the government lied over the pics?? Abati was caught pants down when lying to the whole world, and here is a nairalander telling us what he alone seems to be aware of. #Shame. |
Premium Times I know, and they reported the presidency lying to the whole world on twitter, showcasing Kwankwaso's project as theirs. They were called out to explain the blatant lie and a suit is even in the offing regarding the incident. Now, who the hell is Gregg2 You don't come around here to talk unverifiable trash mr man. But just as expected, the saTANist are already feasting on this!! ![]() If you wanna see lies regarding projects, go to Reuben Abati's twitter handle, or hashtag "DidYouKnow". ![]() Yeye dey ooze. ![]() |
The unprofessionalism exhibited by some of our khaki boys is just nauseating. Always quick to bare their fangs when dealing with innocent civilians. This is totally unacceptable. |
I don't celebrate the death of a youth regardless of the sins of their parents. |
APC just Rocks! ![]() |
I've always said it that the endgame of the promoters of Boko Haram is to ensure as many opposition sympathetic votes as possible are disenfranchised. They use war in the North, and PVC denial in the South. All within opposition strongholds!! These guys are just fooling themselves. |
barcanista:Make dem catch you first! ![]() |
angels09:I think you are taking things personal here. You are most likely a car dealer! ![]() ![]() |
IyfeNamikaze:And you my friend fail to see basic economics when it comes to having products with substitutes!! Granted, when there is market glut, prices inevitably fall, but when you overprice a product that has MANY substitutes that are better and of very competitive prices, you are most likely to wind up operating at huge loses, which ultimately result in the death of your product!! MTN had some sort of monopoly then, so, whether you liked it or not, you still patronised them. They enjoyed that ride until the other brands came into the picture forcing their prices down. In this case, (innoson) even though you seem to have arrived the party very late, you are calling outrageous prices; chances are people would most likely stick to what they had been using. The only way innoson could get a real foothold in the domestic auto market is if they crash their prices below what is obtainable amongst their rivals. Do you understand?? |
DaBullIT:That is just the truth my brother. The drop isn't really because folks now patronise locally manufactured cars in preference to those imported as this report indirectly wants to make people believe. Rather, the drop is because people simply can't afford to buy those cars anymore, pockets are getting leaner and people are trimming their expenditures to provide for the most basic needs. Nigerians, as can be seen by most people that quoted me earlier, tend to be too emotional when dealing with issues and hardly analyse trends based on their merits. |
Looks very serene I must admit. Never thought a place like this existed. Would definitely check it out next year. We need more relaxation spots like this. Wish it could be reproduced across all states. Enough of the clubs and hotels and beer parlours. Nice one. |
One that really gets to me is the wrong usage of "better-off" and "typical". ![]() It irritates me no end when I see folks write, for instance, "Nigeria is better off than Ghana". They take it "better off" is a comparative term just like "better" whereas the term is only applicable to "situations" and not "places or things" and CAN NOT be followed by "than". Eg: The country would be better off without the terrorists. Nigeria is better off dealing with Russia than US. (Notice where "than" comes in). Uche is better off schooling in France. On "typical", MOST people (a friend of mine is very much guilty of this) take it "typical" means "local" (as per unexposed or uncivilised). For instance, a lady looking all tight and shiit might be arguing with someone and then go "look at this typical human being!!" And for her mind she don drop punch line!! ![]() Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think "typical" means "common" as per "norm". So when you think you are insulting someone by calling them "typical", you're just as. "typical" as they are. ![]() |
I feel so depressed whenever I see some of those pensioneers especially in the banks. Folks can hardly move themselves around yet they are made to go through the rigours of queuing in banks to receive what is duly theirs. Civil servants of nowadays see what the government is doing to these men and must have made silent vows to do anything in their power to ensure they don't get caught up in such nasty situation, and one of the surest way is to steal as much you can, afterall, people hardly get punished for stealing!! I pray they get paid asap. |
Vivalavida99: |
Lmao! ![]() |
ducii:Absolutely. Something like mortgage financing. ![]() You see, the whole stuff transcends just producing these cars. A lot has to be set in motion for such business to thrive. As it stands, it seems only the government and transporters are patronising them. My hope is that someone stops feeling complacent, roll up their sleeve, put their minds to task, put pen to paper and paper to policies that ensure these gains are not eroded before they come full bloom. |
ducii:And I also saw somewhere one of those cars (not too sure it was innoson tho, but was manufactured locally) that could pass for a Kia Picanto priced at 1.5million!! I was like "nigerians would rather go for a 2001 Camry and pocket the change than buy the car at that cost". These are just stark realities my brother. |
Calling the people to arms is simply telling us that the government has failed us. I'm scared when I see arms in custody of non state actors. They might arm themselves to protect themselves, fine, but what happens to those arms when the war is won?? You are most likely to wind up fighting several well armed tribal militias, each of which you have to separately negotiate disarmament with. This is bound to take a huge toll on government and indeed development. We don't want another Yemen birthing in Nigeria. I still believe the government forces can win this on their own if the government sincerely wants to see an end to it. The civilian population can assist with intelligence gathering. I don't support arming them. My submission. |
ducii:Well, I never thought producing cars in Nigeria is impossible, and it is indeed a laudable advancement. But you can't build a house on quicksand and expect it to stand. Basic infrastructures like electricity have to be in adequate supply otherwise these products might be priced out of reach of average Nigerians, which I believe should constitute the bulk of their customers, due to their high cost of production. The wealthy folks would still prefer their Toyotas, Hondas, Benzes, Bentleys, GMCs, BMWs, Ferraris etc, to any of the cars produced domestically. When you price products too high (which is inevitable sometimes if you don't wanna incure too much loses), you tend to get lesser patronage and that affects business adversely. This is just the plain truth I was getting at that all those overly emotional and erratic kids up there are throwing insults here and there. |
Goddex:Tell Jonathan to call his siblings and family members to order.
|
Ayed44:Confirm from whom if I may ask?? |
Snipers?? |
freezone4real:Learn to ignore people like the guy you quoted. @post: Just hope they are there for a good reason. |
I'd rather not believe this. |
ducii:I know. I've seen the pictures long time ago. What I'm saying is it is just sheer foolishness to start comparing Nigeria with those countries simply because we've produced some cars when we are yet to even put in place very basic stuffs of development like pipe borne water, electricity, eradicate hunger, and shelter for Nigerians. Making such is statement at this point is simply playing a sycophant. |
saintandsinnerz:Yes I have time. I'm on leave. You got a problem with that?? Did I borrow your time at some point and have refused to give it back ![]() |
Wow!! That's some meth right there!! |
But this pic has been around for quite some time naw. Now, not saying we are incapable of this, matter of fact we've don't greater stuffs than this, but how do you know they were made by a nigerian ![]() |
