In a way, I think the picture exposure thingy would even help sanitize the system by discouraging would-be tribalalists from becoming one!!

Yeah, and replace them with their retrogresive policy of free for all looting as is the norm currently in Abuja and other PDP states!!

I bet Lagosians are too sophisticated to allow such!

Foolishness forms the core of your lineage, education, exposure, background and social milieu. Hence, the only word that comes handy.

Travel › Re: Floods In Airports Around The World by omenka(m): 7:29pm On Aug 21, 2014
Tolexander: so posting pictures got from the internet has made you a world tourist?
Free the guy. Don't waste your energy. Little rainfall and an airport, which they claim is a masterpiece gets flooded. Instead of questioning the quality of the job done by the contractors and the people who supervised or gave the job out, they go on a defensive mode, posting pictures of the consequence of perhaps a tsunami, undersea earthquake, or any one of those weather patterns that if present in Africa wouldn't just flood a place but completely obliterate the landscape and all that stand on it!!

We are indeed our greatest problem in this country.

Politics › Re: Immigration Recruitment Scandal: Goodluck Jonathan May Lose 2015 Election by omenka(m): 1:14pm On Aug 21, 2014
Polchiz: Falsehood is the greatest crime against humanity, especially if such lies are meant for public consumption.

The immigration recruitment exercise in which many innocent graduates lost their lives, money and other valuable materials is still fresh in my mind.

For a very long time FG jobs can ONLY be gotten through nepotism, bribery and man-know-man. When the immigration recruitment began, we thought the FG under the watch of GEJ has embraced transparency. Unfortunately, it further portrayed the cluelessness, lies, nepotism and corruption that this administration is known for.

Consequently, my questions for Mr. President and his supporters are:
1. Where is the money of our graduates?

2. What is the outcome of the committee meeting GEJ set up to look into this crucial matter?

3. Have the families of the diseased been compensated with appointments as promised?

4. What happened to the clueless minister who organized this inadvertent recruitment?

Goodluck Jonathan should not mistake Nigerian youths (graduates) for fools.

2015 is around the corner and his I-don't-care attitude towards an important matter like this can jeopardize his 2015 ambition.
Fully endorsed!!!

These are the kind of questions the youths of this country should be asking!!

We have a chance to right the wrongs of this admin and others past!

Vote out PDP!!

aguiyi: astutely as in how abeg?

how long does it take to register a company in other climes. i have done so from Nigeria here without even knowing the address of their office.

Aganga once promised that they will start registering companies within 48 hours, that is yet to see the light of day
I understand her position. She meant that the pictures you posted only shows that you were there and in no way bolster your argument that it is a failed parastatal.

I've had an experience with them as well. Applied for registration of a company and my application received not even the slightest attention even after six months until I got an insider that helped push the stuff through!!!

It is very sad indeed. But in my opinion, nothing comes close to the National Orientation Agency when it comes to failed govt Agencies!!! That agency should simply be scrapped!!

How can someone be stealing as much as Billions and Trillions of Naira, for what?

I don’t want to talk much these days on Nairaland... I have resorted to my offline campaign.

Bottom line: Nigeria and Nigerians need deliverance. angry

Hobnobbing with the sleaziest scum in the polticosphere is the president's specialty. He dines and wines with them hoping since they've always been around the corridors of power and would remain there even after he's left, they'd cover his sordid records from public scrutiny for him!!

I've never been surer of a president winding up in prison as I am of this president. His crimes are just too damn weighty!!

Politics › Re: Nigerian's Trade Surplus Now At 20.3% by omenka(m): 7:19am On Aug 21, 2014
Trade "surplus"?? Op are you alright??

A country is sad to have trade surplus when it exports more than it imports!! The last time we had trade surplus in this country was in the 60s!!

I suggest you fix your title to say trade deficit.

That aside, all our lofty economic indices since Jonathan became the president seem to begin and end on the pages of papers!! On ground, things seem to heading the opposite direction!!

#Fact!

Politics › Re: Jonathan Administration: An Ally Of Corruption by omenka(m): 8:02pm On Aug 20, 2014
Sincere9gerian: Lol.. Tinubu e-dogs could not even come up with concrete cases of corruption they could pin on GEJ. This is in spite of all their hypocritical outcry of "monumental corruption".

Well, I have already dismissed the case against the Maina led Pension Task Force.

FFK is still undergoing prosecution by the EFCC. His case has not been withdrawn. Interestingly, FFK was an APC chieftain only few weeks ago. It should be noted that the corrupt practices for which FFK is being prosecuted did not take place under the GEJ led govt. FFK is neither an official nor an aide of GEJ.

Chief Bode George was prosecuted, convicted and he served and completed his term in prison. Besides, the Supreme Court later discharged and acquited Bode George. So what is the fuss about? Should ex-convicts be barred from any form of associations? Is Bode George a minister or an aide of the GEJ led govt?

The case of Stella Oduah has been debated exhaustively on NL. It is mischievous to describe the case of Stella Oduah as corruption. Anyway, she was eventually dropped just to satisfy the rampaging vultures and ethnic bigots.

So what else?

Meanwhile, we shouldn't forget that the speaker of the Lagos House of Assembly has also been undergoing prosecution for corrupt practices in the last few years. APC leaders and APC online dogs have not seen reasons why he should step down and face his case in court.

Some of us support the GEJ led govt not because he is a saint but simply because he is the LESSER EVIL.

APC and Tinubu e-dogs keep fooling around
