The president is obviously overwhelmed and out of his depths on how to go about fixing this country!!

He should just throw in the towel!!
Shame.
Politics › Re: Boko Haram Seizes Adamawa LG Office by omenka(m): 5:54am On Aug 24, 2014
Ceasar1: Every step Boko Haram conquers brings them two steps closer to our door-steps. So we either stand tall against this evil game of Politics and destroy it Or we wait for ‘it’ to find us and destroy us all: I suggest we wake Up.
How do you propose we woke up when the commander in chief, whose principal responsibility it is to lead the charge, slumbers??!! ISIS began this way, now Chuck Hagel says the group poses and "apocalyptic threat" to the world!!

Jonathan swore an oath to protect our lives and properties, and the sovereignty of our country, but made a volte face a year later to declare he "doesn't give a damn"!! Isn't the president deliberately sabotaging our national security by not properly equipping our military to put an end to this scourge once and for all?? Where are all the trillions budgeted for defence over the past coupla years?? What was the money used for?? Where is it??

I have a hunch the president just might be tinkering with the idea of allowing the group to overrun the entire north and then carving a separate republic of Southern Nigeria, but what security guarantees would such a republic have when their next door neghbor is being governed by beasts with belligerent vitality??

No one is playing politics with this crises but people like Marylin Ogar, Asari, Kema Chikwe, Olisa Metuh, and other known moppets of the president, and the president himself!!!!!

We have an onging war in our hands and the president has time to revel in the company of half nakid women watching movies!!!

I weep for my country!!
Politics › Re: President Jonathan In Germany (Photo) by omenka(m): 9:37pm On Aug 23, 2014
When these men travel to other countries don't their conscience prick them?? I mean, don't they feel ashamed the backwardness that pervades the land over which they preside?? Is it not enough for them to want to make their own country look like those to which they travel to fix little health problems??

If the leaders of those countries had acted they way Nigerian leaders act and they "don't give a damn", would there exist the kind of state of the art facilities and serenity in those countries that make them always wanna run down there for all sort of flimsy reasons??

Shameless bunch of putos!

Politics › Re: Nobody Can Stop Jonathan In 2015 – Clark by omenka(m): 8:27pm On Aug 23, 2014
deeobserver209: Edwin Clerk is a man full of wisdom. Listen to him. smiley
A man of full wisdom that could yell at a TV presenter that "you ask me questions like you are a Hausa girl!! Did they send you to me??" You know, age induced dementia exists; Clerk shows early signs of it.

By the way, I remember Macbeth once said "no man born of a woman can kill me" (I stand to be corrected), yet he was killed!! He thought all men are born of women!!

Perhaps, what's gonna stop Jonathan wouldn't be a "person" but a thing or an event! Whatever it is, he's gonna be stopped anyway.

This man is one of Jonathan's greatest problems I must add!!

shizzleStar: saying its fallacy is unfair and not true, why do you think they are called 'food basket if the nation'? Not saying nasarwas does not produce but not as much as Benue, that's the fact. of course you know that nasarawa was carved outta Benue and their are lots of give there too
Bro believe me, I've lived there, I've eaten their foods, I've dated their ladies, and I've been to their biggest towns (Gboko, Otukpo and Katsina-ala) and I know EXACTLY what I'm talking about. Benue has the potential of being the "food basket just" as its motto says, but IT IS NOT!!
Business › Re: Nigerian Non-Oil Industry Discussion Thread by omenka(m): 7:18pm On Aug 23, 2014
shizzleStar: The major producers of food and cash crops are the middle particularly Benue, nasarawa and plateau
My brother, that Benue thingy is a huge falacy oo!!! Yes, they produce a lot, but not as much as outsiders think. Go to the State (or if u live there) and see the truckload of foodstuffs that enter that state from Nassarawa axis weekly!!!
Business › Re: Nigerian Non-Oil Industry Discussion Thread by omenka(m): 7:13pm On Aug 23, 2014
atlwireles: Taraba produces lots of ginger and southern kaduna produces lots beans too. Even Nassrawa is not left out ... There are certain varies of beans produced in adamawa borno axis. Since boko haram, that whole area's farming is down. But the bottom line is, the so called food basket is north central Nigeria.
I think that "food basket of the nation" is the Motto of Benue State. Now I don't know how much you know about that state, but I spent a coupla years in the state on deployment and I can tell you, of a truth, that Benue state is overrated when it comes to agro products. The cost of food is no different there than in Warri!!

Granted, it has enormous potential of attaining awesome heights in that regard given its vast arable lands, but presently, they are hugely under utilised.

Even the yams I spoke about earlier could be found in larger quantities in Nassarawa than Benue. I stand to be corrected though.

Ogar soiled her image (if she ever had one) and that of DSS when she became overtly partisan in her comments, sounding like Abati or Okupe rather than an intelligence officer!!

She is now persona non grata!

Collynzo14: I have never seen such a facts-twisting analysis in all my life.
In addition the the other lies told by the OP which have been bursted above, he also attributed Nigeria's footwear exports to the North and Southwest, however a look at the footwear manufacturing companies in Nigeria, shows that 80% of them are located in Abia state, south east Nigeria.
http://companylist.org/Nigeria/Keywords/Footwear_Exporters/
This even goes to further illustrate our interdependence. The North produces the raw materials that is being used to drive that industry which is hyde and skin. This is why I don't subscribe to calling any region "parasitic."
Business › Re: Nigerian Non-Oil Industry Discussion Thread by omenka(m): 6:50pm On Aug 23, 2014
atlwireles: Majority of Northern farming is done in the North central. Beans, tomatoes, ginger, Onions, pepper, cashews, yams and today rice are produce mainly in Taraba, southern kaduna, plateau, Nassarwa, Parts of bauchi, kogi and benue.
Are you sure the highlighted are not derived from the core North?? And I think the East produces a lot of cashew nuts too. And whenever people say "Aba made" I count it as a complement and a pointer to the fact that lots of finished consumer products are derived from there.
Business › Re: Nigerian Non-Oil Industry Discussion Thread by omenka(m): 6:43pm On Aug 23, 2014
@POPEII and T9ksy, can we just have some friendly discussion, keep our tempers and our voices down. Thread might turn out to be very interesting if we manage to maintain courtesy and not have the mods tamper with it. smiley

I'm against the term "parasite" though. Perhaps, "more dependent" sounds more humane.
Business › Re: Nigerian Non-Oil Industry Discussion Thread by omenka(m): 6:36pm On Aug 23, 2014
Some interesting points up there. cool

But fact remains that each region contributes substantially to the overall growth and well being of the country. The only region whose role I don't quite get is the North Central. But I understand Benue produces a lot of yams and cassava. I don't know about what Plateau, Nassarawa and Taraba states produce tho.

Politics › Re: **President Jonathan Named As A Patron To MEND by omenka(m): 4:08pm On Aug 23, 2014
Nothing points to the fact that Jonathan is an overt supporter and sponsor of the terrorist group MEND than his remarks after the October 1st bombing!!

Imagine what would be the case if a prominent northern politician comes out to exonerate Boko Haram after a bomb goes off!! That was exactly what the President of the country did!!

I keep wondering what grudge the president holds against the country that he relentlessly chases this vendetta to bring the country down on her knees.

All of these just to make sure they justify the monies they collected from desperate unemployed Nigerians!!

Why aren't Nigerians asking the hard questions: "Where is the money the Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces, Federal Republic of Nigeria ordered an Appointed Minister to return back to their owners??"

They keep asking Nigerians to stop insulting the president. What bigger insult is there than a minister blatantly refusing to carry out the orders of the presidenthuh

How I wish not a single applicant would turn up for this!! angry
