Nigerians could be such pathetic slobs sometimes. Here are people jubilant over the abuse of the rights of an individual by presumably State agents who are paid by all of us to uphold such rights!! Tomorrow, a state agent shoots a conductor or a fellow countryman over a little squabble and we all scream blue murder forgetting that we had tacitly endorsed such brutality previously!!

My people indeed perish for lack of wisdom!

Qelvin: Colonel Agu(I suppose he is Igbo) should know better than risking his life for a worthless country, any Igbo in such situation is a fool...let the Hausa animals fight their own war...the man who brings junk to his house should be ready to play host to a infestation of ants.
When you see a kid desperate for attention, you know right away.

@post: I keep wondering, what exactly is the role of the Nigerian Air Force in this battlehuh Why can't we have a situation in which ground troops lure those vampires out of their hideouts and call in air support to finish the job?? What is really going onhuh Is someone deliberately sabotaging the Nigerian Army??

This is so disheartening to say the least.

Wow!!! Can foolishness and hate get any worse?? We never knew Fashola is a naralander posting pictures of his every deed....

What a dense headed neanderthal.

Politics › Re: Aftermath Of Sanusi's Sack: Foreign Reserve & Excess Crude Account Rise Steadily by omenka(m): 10:06am On Aug 08, 2014
Every single development that has come to the country since the emergence of this intricately corrupt administration, that stumble from one financial scandal to another, has been ON PAPER!!!

1) I buy fuel at a higher cost!!

2) More and more people turn up for job interviews with unimaginably limited job openings.

3) Insecurity has been on the rise.

4) Industrial actions are more frequent than ever.

5) The politicosphare remains highly charged.

6) An epidemic which poses an existential threat to the country found its way into our borders.

7) Inflation is constantly on the rise. One can hardly find a commodity that sells for N5 these days.

8.) Oil bunkering reached neck breaking levels despite a fraudulent multi million dollars contract awarded criminals by the government to protect the water ways. Piracy along our maritime borders has also been on a steady but alarming increase.

9) More committees have been set up with huge amounts of moneys expended on them than we had in the two regimes that preceded this one, without a single benefit to account for all that had been spent.

10) Recurrent expenditure has burgeoned in the last four years to the detriment of the people.

11) The government is yet to explain how it came about spending over four times the expenditure on subsidy as we used to prior 2011. I mean, did the consumption of petroleum products quadruple within four years??

.... too many to mention.

And what has the government done besides blaming every one but itself for its failureshuh

Sickening piece of sh!t.

Politics › Re: President Obama Approves US Military Action In Iraq by omenka(m): 7:53am On Aug 08, 2014
texazzpete: Well, for one the US didn't arm ISIS. And it would be nice to stay on topic. ISIS is a menace to the Middle East right now. The foreign policy if the Arab league that have done nothing to intervene as ISIS slaughters Christians and other minorities is even more nauseous in this situation.

The US has made very many foolish mistakes and stupid decisions in the Middle East crisis, but in this one they are doing the right thing.
I beg your pardon sir. How does waiting until your consulate is threatened, after thousands of innocent people have been slained, amount to doing the right thinghuh

If US had not surreptitiously sabotaged the national security of Libya and Syria, along with France, throwing open the gates of the countries' armoury to all manner of groups, IS wouldn't have had access to the kind of military hardware they possess today. US has decided to intervene to save itself from a repeat of the embarrassment it suffered in Bengazi. They are the reason why the Iraqi security force is so depleted the country can't even defend itself against a small legion of armed bandits let alone a highly skilled and motivated army!! They one question I keep asking is: where are the weapons of mass destruction Sadam was sad to have?? Why isn't Bush answering questions at the Hague right now??

The US should stop running away and clean up the mess it created. Ariel bombardment alone wouldn't solve the problem posed by IS. Boots on ground with ariel support will!

Politics › Re: President Obama Approves US Military Action In Iraq by omenka(m): 5:12am On Aug 08, 2014
BekeeBuAgbara: When they're in Iraq, they are bad guys, terrorists who need to be killed, but when cross into Syria, they're the good guys fighting the evil dictator Assad. ''Obama asks congress for $500m to arm moderate Syrian rebels''. But when they take the arms given to them by US back into Iraq, they are bad again, horrible terrorists. If Syria bombs them in Syria-Iraqi border, Assad is threatend because US doesn't want him bombing people who will be freedom fighters when they go back to Syria.
I give up.
You have summarised it all!!

I keep saying it, United States is one of the biggest headaches of our time. Her disposition towards issues especially as regards world peace and security leaves a very sour taste in the mouth. They have assumed the right to designate a group "terrorist" depending on how you rapport with them and just how much you hurt their interests. They have created such a huge mess in the mideast turning the region into one massive killing field to promote their world depopulation agenda!

US armed groups in Syria and Libya to take down regimes that seem unfriendly towards them but leaning more towards Moscow, now we have two protracted insurrection whose end no one can tell. Thesame US armed the Mujahedeens to take out Russia from Afghanistan and when they tried to operate independent of handouts and orders from Washington, Uncle Sam proscribed the group and labelled it terrorist!

Now we have the crises of the Islamic States on our hands and they seem primed to take over the entire Iraq, and would do so if the US doesn't stop their advancement. There is no gainsaying the fighters were at some point getting support from the US when they fought against Asad. Thesame weapons that were supplied them are the weapons being used to deny Iraqis the right to live!! The US should stop jeopardising chances of peace in the mideast by constantly arming non state actors simply because a regime refuses to be a puppet! The more arms that get into that region, the more volatile it gets!!

CFCfan: That would be sad. Financing shouldn't be much of a problem, as each of new universities should cost not more than N8-10bn.
Those sons of Baal and Patrons of the Coven of Darkness would rather spend that money transmitting or contracting STDs to/fro wh0res imported from Bangladesh or Cambodia or Malaysia than spending it on giving Nigerians qualitative education!!

I work close to them and know exactly what I'm saying!!!

Politics › Re: Chibok Girls : We Are Not Against Third Party Dialogue – Jonathan by omenka(m):
Indeed!!

Thesame president who commissions layabouts to label anybody who volunteers to help mediate in the crises Boko Haram is the one saying this rubbish!!

The president is so blinded by hate for faithfuls of Islam, just like the trolls they pay per post on the internet, and would be quick to ostracise anyone who dares to make any attempt at initiating dialogue and bring about an amicable end to this mess so Nigerians to go back to living normal lives.

What did they say about Buhari when the sect unilaterally chosed him to speak to the govt on their behalf?? Yet they never called Wole Soyinka a militant when the militants chosed him to represent them in talks with the government.

The government by its own doing makes it very difficult for anyone to volunteer help!!

I wonder if the President has ever heard of Islamic State, or ISIS or ISIL and what they've done recently!!

Instead of sending our security forces to the troubled region to check the advancement of these murderers, the president is more interested in eliminating perceived snags to his 2015 project, turning Osun state into a military barracks!!

This man is deliberately promoting the demise of this nation!!

Sincere9gerian: Whereas we had all the time in the world to prepare for possible Ebola outbreak in Nigeria since March this year when the current outbreak was reported in Liberia, now we have no choice but to try to play catch up. That is what you get in a country that expends so much energy and time on SHARING of national cake. Always reactive, never proactive.
