If I were the mods, I would ban for a couple of days anyone who says this on threads.

There is a thread dedicated to complaints and suggestions at the top of this board. Go there and make your suggestion and stop this irritating attitude already.

We seem to be unanimous in condemnation of this 130million buy. Talk about the big GOs who spend billions of private jets (CAN president inclusive) and you would be amazed the discordant tunes you would get here.

obyrich: Will you support him if he investigates OBJ's regime? Did you know that OBJ doubled as the petroleum minister during his tenure? Have you forgotten the constant increment in fuel prices and endless queues at the petrol stations. Was there any year during OBJ's regime that Nigerians celebrated the Yuletide without the hardship of fuel scarcity foisted on us by the criminal cartel OBJ created, and which GEJ has dismantled. Have you forgotten? Why did OBJ appoint FUNSHO KUPOLOKUN from retirement to be the GMD of NNPC if he were not tribalistic? GEJ is no saint, but he towers above OBJ in moral rectitude. Was it the 'snipers' trained by GEJ that killed Chief Bola Ige, Funsho Williams, Marshal Harry, Dikibo etc ? ODI and Zakibiam were mowed down by OBJ because of few dissidents who killed military personnel but more soldiers have been killed by insurgents up North yet GEJ has not ordered that those states be wiped out by the military. Is it not his discretionary approach to issues that earned GEJ the 'slowpoke' derogatory appellation? Who asked Peter Odili to step down from contesting for the presidency at the PDP convention at the Eagle Square in 2006? OBJ. Was that fair? Is it not because we have been used to the fire-brigade approach to issues that we think GEJ is too slow in handling issues? Who sold off BAKASSI and signed the Green Tree Pact without senate ratification? OBJ! Today the people of Bakassi are slaves in their country courtesy of this man's indiscretion. Do you know Sanusi Lamido Sanusi has apologised for misinforming Nigerians on the missing 49.8 bn dollars? My dear, the shout of crucify him, crucify him, no matter how loud, did not make Christ culpable of the charges levied on him. Will you support GEJ if he drags the culprits of the Harliburton bribery to prison? Hope you know the people involved are in the opposition? Do you know that politics is a game of interests? Have you asked what is the interest of these men? GEJ is no saint but he is better than his accusers.
What is stoping Jo from probing and prosecuting these THIEVEShuh Is that too big a task for him??
Jo who doesn't double as a petroleum minister stole over a trillion naira in an election year under the guise of fuel subsidy. I can bet my last breath Jo will go to jail along with Madueke and Iweala over that theft. All we need is the right person at the helm of affairs. We were spending between 250mill and 400mill in Obj and Yar'Adua's regimes, Jo came and in a space of one year, the number of cars and generators in Nigeria mysteriously QUADRUPLED and we wound up spending over a trillion, without supplementary appropriation!!!

Talk about pots calling kettle black.

ilugunboy: Thieves and opportunists are coming out.....knowing fully well that an open attack on OBJ now is likely going to win you some mouth watering patronage from the seat of corruption...Aso Rock.
Oga, you have no right to get into my head and steal words and ideas!!! Was about saying exactly dsame!!

I just picture all these letter critics queuing up with plate in hand like beggars at the gate of a big man's house.

Any day, anytime, posterity would favour a demonic Obj who dared to speak out when he saw evil, than these "let me mind my business" angels who perpetually keep mum in the face of the most horrible of crimes.

I don't like Obj. He is hugely responsible for what we are passing through today by foisting one f00l after another on us as leaders. He is a terrible dad and a disapointing husband. But on the issue of this letter, I'm on his side. Whether or not his motive for writing the letter was selfless, I really don't care. What I care about is the content of the letter and how indeed it reflects the stark realities on ground, except of course for the president's alleged training of a killer squad. But hey, who knows, the kinda info these big players are privy to are stuff of great confidentiality that you and I may never ever get to know. I don't think someone as important as Obj would just imagine stuff of such huge significance and implication and put it in a letter which is to be made public. Between the both of them, the truth is known.

This would be the last I'd say of this letter. The next grizzly can come out of hibernation to join the ongoing feast, that is their business. Obj has said what he has said and so have I.

God bless Nigeria.

touch4mony: all APC e-rats will avoid this thread because they hate to hear the truth.
And all PDP e-vultures would descend on the thread like vultures on a corpse. The same troglodytes that said Falana is a confused, insignificant, medlesome charge and bail lawyer. Same way they regarded Bakare!! Now, he's their hero for he has "spoken the truth", and it has to be "front paged" otherwise, "Seun has been bribed" by "Tinubu".

Every time I try to grasp how these deadbeats reason, a brickwall is what I run into.

Nuryn: only fool will accept this, why not face d challenge by then and be an hero.
Thank you my brother.
And by the way, he still appears to be the coward he was by not mentioning the name of the supposed "godfather".
And if we are to talk about character, it would be abominable for the name Mbadinuju and the word "good" to exist in thesame sentence.
We've not forgotten the case of the Igwe's where a man and his wife were slain because he dared to accuse the governor of embezling monies meant for the payment of salaries of civil servants.

All of you castigating Obj should take a brief trip down memory lane and tell us if Mbadinuju is anything close to being clean.

Buhari: Contesting in 2015 is an obligation - Daily
Trust
http://dailytrust.info/index.php/top-stories/2947-
buhari-contesting-in-2015-is-an-obligation[/quote]The above is my main grouse with this thread.

How could the mods so easily fall for this cheap blackmail again (the "it will never make fp" thingy), posting a thread replete with fallacious info onto the fp, without necesarilly going through the "proofs" (links) as provided by the Op, to assertain the veracity or otherwise of his claim?

I went through the links to see if there is any point where the general was QUOTED saying the things the op is claiming he said (as shown in the portion of the post I quoted above). Infact, the account of one of the links provided is SUSPENDED and one can't get a reading from there!!! The op said Buhari says only death would stop him from contesting when infact what the general said was only death would stop him from active politics. There is a world of difference between those two statements!

This is but a desperate attempt to malign the image of the general. But we know what we know. No amount of mud slinging and propaganda can change the facts.

If one says his "body language" says he's interested in running, that I would understand (even though he isn't showing any such signs anymore), but saying he categorically said "I will contest" is taking a lie too far!

God bless the General
God bless FRN.

I don't know about anywhere else, but in my place of work, most people that were pro PDP (or do I say pro Jonathan) have switched lanes and are now fully in support of APC. It is not because they like APC per se, but their argument is that Jonathan is a huge disappointment, and they believe in terms of progress, the APC states have been faring far better than the PDPs.
The situation isn't different where I live, and their reason is that Jo is a disappointment.
Even here on nairaland, we've seen some die hard pdp supporters turn their backs on the party.

So I beg to differ from your analysis op.
