I kinda share your sentiments my dear. But one thing I know is, there's nowhere in the world where holistic positive change came without a huge cost. Such cost could range from emotional, physical, financial, and indeed lives! The struggle here has taken a toll on me emotionally, especially given the barrage of hate induced threads that some posters churn out daily without the mods doing anything to stem the tide. Very painful seeing nigerians go for each other's jugular simply because they come from a different tribe, religion or region. Tried as much we can to advocate and promote love and tolerance but sadly, the more you try, the more vicious the attacks get. Guess I might as well just take refuge in some much more mundane sections of the forum. At least, there, I wld be spared the agony of seeing all that bitterness that characterise this section.

It remains to be seen if despite the grudge Ibori bears against the president, for being the mastermind behind his incarceration in London, he would still work with the president towards 2015. This is likely the question on the minds of most political pundits for we know no sooner than he's given a cell in Nigeria would he be released, and likely for Project2015. He just might petend to be willing to assist and to shore up the president's grassroot leverage agaisnt suposed renegades like Amaechi from the home front, but covertly working on getting his pound of flesh from the president. Whatever it is, his eventual release and deployment would add yet another interesting ingredient to this already overly spicy 2015 broth. The president seems to have a thing for vonvicts. Perhaps he's just taking lessons preparatory to his future.

Such a nuseating display of cluelesness. Sanusi has been the cbn gov for as long as we can remember. He's been the fed govt. banker for that long as well. Never before (at least not to our knowledge) has he raised an alarm over unremitted funds. He knows the nitty gritty of how funds are being remitted like the back of his hand and i doubt the schematic was altered over the last one year.. In essence if he says something doesnt add up, indeed it doesnt! What the fvck has arabic, or islam, or hausa, or fulani, etc, got to do with the facts?? @ Op. Why hyperventilate over an event who's details you are oblivious of? Firstly, do you know what time of the day the pic was taken? What makes you think the child is suposed to be in school at that time? Secondly, do you know what transpired between the gov and the kid? For instance, there was a day i was at a gas station to get some fuel. Saw a kid hawking kashew nuts looking shaby and all. Twas around 9am n i thought she should be in school. Called her, bought one and enquired why she isnt in school and she told me she was chased away cos she had yet to pay her fees. Asked how much n she said N500 (guesed they run the ubec stuff). Luckily i had just that amount left on me. Handed it to her and told her to make sure she goes to school the next day. I'm saying this cos from your viewpoint, the gov erred but i put it to you the pic tells us nothing about what hapened there on the long run but just captures a PARTICULAR SECOND of time. He may have issued some huge money or scholarship or anything, the pic doesnt say. And by the way, would it have been more appropriate had he totally ignored the hawker, since your query borders on his patronage?
