IamSoluble: The question is not clear. Are you trying to say how much do you need to keep in order to apply for visa/resident permit for study in Estonia? |

aussielover: I want to believe that you can self-sponsor. However the question is, how do you do that? Were you working before now. And its not a big deal as I know, especially if your parent etc can stand as sponsor for you. In summary, you need to demonstrate that you have enough to sustain your study. |

ELECHRITA: Unfortunately you have to travel to another country since Estonia does not have an embassy in Nigeria. Fortunately, they now have an Embassy in Update I mean they have an embassy in Abu dahbi. 2 Likes |

Skymoore1004: Just like in every countries, there are different groups of people and political (people or party). Some are more liberal and business minded, and others are more conservative and focus more on the citizens, heritage, and survival above all. The conservative ones are the ones proposing laws that does not favour foreigners with the view of how it would benefit their citizens alone. The above mentioned proposed amendment to the law to limit foreigners (especially those from third world countries) was rejected by companies, schools, institutions, and reasonable residents of Estonia on the basis that it was not thought through and it would result to counter the suggested benefit. What am I trying to say? I would be careful to get more information about something more carefully before making my judgment, especially when it comes to how Estonians threat foreigners. I am not trying to defend some of unkind gestures that some Estonians show to foreigners, but to assert that "Estonians are very mean to foreigners" is taking it too far. Generally, Estonia is one of the easiest country to get their resident permit. They have some of the most flexible and easily approachable immigration requirements as far as I know. They have these of course because it benefits them, foreigners contributes to the economy and reputation of the Estonian state in one way or the other. 2 Likes |

jessetom: Usually you should apply for longstay visa. That is the minimum document you need on order to get into Estonia. It's better to apply for both longstay visa and trp but at least get a long stay visa there. |

Bhorbymills1990: The best answer is it depends. I see from here that it takes 4 weeks: https://www.naijagoingabroad.com/visa-application/apply-estonia-student-visa-nigeria/ But its not certain how much long it can take . |

Luxiana19: Well, Estonia does not have an embassy in Nigeria. Belgium embassy issues C-Visa (short stay). That's why you need to travel to their embassy to get a C-Visa(long stay). |

jaykuul: 1. I have never heard of age restrictions on applying for a bachelor's course. 2. I don't think that is it. But usually every programme or school states the required level of credits on their website for this purpose. |

drakura: If you're referring to issuance of Estonia visa then I'll answer. It should not take up to 2 weeks to get your visa to Estonia ofcourse provided you have all their required documents. Ps. The embassy could change the time they take but from different testimonies two weeks is even too long. |

justnock: What makes you think Estonia does not worth it. It would be helpful if you can state your reasons for this statement so to help others think their decision through. I am in Estonia and I would say it worth it. The only hard part is just having to travel to Estonia through another country and ofcourse the cold which I am already used to. |

OlakunmiSMELTD: Just a note, uppercase words are hard to read and its usually interpreted to mean you're yelling. So better to use lower case. 1. First and foremost is to get admitted. If you're admitted then this issues can come to the table. 1. You can easily get approximate amount of flight to Egypt using one of the booking sites like Expedia (I don't know the amount that's why I said this). 2. Again similarly, you can find out which is cheaper for the time you want to travel. I think usually Ethiopian airline but I cannot say. Flight price is very unpredictable. 3. Estonian don't issue a separate study visa. They issue D-Visa which is the same as long stay visa. The duration of the processing is at the descretion of the embassy but usually it takes average of 1 week (based on people's feedback, anything can change though). 4. This is also subject to you checking the hotels available in the country where you are going to apply for visa. You can check booking.com to have a rough idea how much this could cost. 5. I can't say but I would advice I think 50 dollar per day, but I don't know. Any one who has traveled to this place can give you an idea how or you can search online what average spending in that country. 6. Now this question sounds like you're now talking about when you get to Estonia. The previous questions sounds like what you would do in the country where Estonia has embassy (presumably Egypt). If you're referring to Estonia then your master card should still work there, and of course your bank will rip you off for every transaction (this is normal). But If you're referring to Egypt then it should still be handy to have your card with you. You can have a little local currency with you for emergency. But I would mention that you need to get the more important information before commiting your emotions into things like flights, master card etc 1. Admission, do you have an admission. 2. Have you decided on what route to take? If its Estonian embassy in Cairo, I will inform you that they don't have appointment slot till the end of April (as at today, they might have for other months in the future though) so consider your options well. UPDATE The appointment availability changes and so sometimes there might be appointment available again on those booked days. 1 Like 1 Share |

OlakunmiSMELTD: I think no country will issue you a tourist visa without confirmation of your return and you could be denied an entry if the immigration in the country can't see a proof that you'll be leaving. They might not even allow you to leave at Nigerian airport if you don't have return ticket. So you need two-way travel ticket when going for tourism. But once you get your visa from that country, then one way to the country of your destination. |

I will advice you to contact the school to explain the situation to them so they can guide you promptly on what to do. I believe they would anticipate such a situation. |
