nivlek000: Hello Frank,
I feel you're being unduly defensive. It doesn't appear to me that the lady is blaming anyone. Yes you tried your best in helping her with her SOP and I trust she appreciated that. However, I don't see the point of your condescending tone or choice of words. She's clearly devastated she doesn't need this attitude from anyone. You're a great guy, you've been really helpful here; let's stick with that narrative.
Hi Guys!!! Another hopeful Hopeful here. TRV fall on us! Thanks for this! I didn’t put the blame on anyone and I clearly stated that it was my sop, Mr frank I’m grateful for the help you rendered but I don’t think I need this now, Thanks all the same, I’ll do better next time |

[quote author=Asapant post=68109919]I see.. Seems your SOP wasn't well detailed enough and not convincing . "purpose of visit arose from here" i think the V.O feels why didn't you apply to schs in Uk, State or Nigeria. Why Canny which you haven't been to ?
In your next SOP, you need to convince the V.O well concerning reasons and benefits for studying abroad and why you decided to choose Canny.

In your SOP, did you explain why Canada instead of the US or Uk where you have valid visas and have visited before?
Goingforward. I actually didnt do that, i guess the issue came from my SOP |

HiSignature: I could be wrong but i think being unemployed and volunteering at the moment might be a flag because the VO can see it as something not too tangible as a reason to come back to Nigeria. I think this has been said on this forum in previous threads; Aged parents, spouses, children can be regarded and easily recognised as family ties but once you are over 18 years of age, using siblings as family ties does not ' have that much weight'. If you have younger ones, far below 18 years of age, you can talk abit about your responsibilities on them, may be that might fly too. But if all your siblings are all of independent age, siblings love has little effect (either with NPC birth certificate/ sworn affidavit of age/ church issued certificate) If we want to be sincere, irrespective of the love amongst siblings, everyone is responsible for themselves.
As advised, get your GCMS note and i hope being unemployed and volunteering at the moment wont be part of the VO's discussion.
I wish you all the best. hello, Thank you so much, i have requested the notes already and i didn't put that i am unemployed all i put was thr volunteering as i just finished my nysc, i added my siblings birth certificates and the oldest among them is 18, hopefully the notes will help |

Phocusjosh: Sorry bro. Financially you are covered but you are yet to convince the VO that you will leave Canada at the end of your program with proofs. This can be done by writing a dynamite SOP (@TheSoj), link your undergraduate studies, employment, and your long term-goals with your intended course of study at University of Windsor. Please, order for your GCMS to know the actual reason you were rejected. It will end in praise. i am a sis lol, i have applied for my GCMS notes but i will really like the house to help analyze the whole thing for me, and is september resumption still possible? |

I will like to advise us, when a contribution is given, and you know it applicable to you or you will definitely need later in future, copy the contribution I. E the question and the answer and save it in your email, when you need it you can retrieve it and you would not disturb the thread much. There are some questions people are asking that has already been asked by the same person without taking good recording of answer and still come again to disturbe the platform, It’s just amazing how someone who constantly sp asked one question over ten times after getting responses can talk like this, my brother remove the speck in your eyes before talking about other people, every one has unique situations needing validation!! Don’t come and talk in a very condescending manner to people, if you can’t respond jump and pass!! It’s a public forum Best regards |

Omoarukheo: Hi guys,
i am about to submit my application, my sponsor is my dad and the balance of all his bank statements put together is about 500k
he has invested in treasury bills which would be liquidated in june 2018 worth about 4.5m, he has contribution with his cooperative society worth about 4.4m, he has printed his pension statement with 7.8m though hes just in his 50's and not due for retirement yet, he has also given me his dorm account statement of 7.6k dollars.
his cooperative society has issued a letter and i have the treasury bills certificate, How do i explain all of this so i do not end up being slammed with insufficient funds and do you think my funds are enough
N.B tuition is 32k for the whole program, first year is 17k and i have paid 6k as deposit, my dad has 3 dependents and they are all in school
Thanks for your favorable response Cc frankrobben1 |

Frankrobbn1: Omoarukheo, 1-) Current employment situation shouldn't be your worries now, simply let them know you're a fresh graduate, you just finished serving your home country and since then you have gathering and preparing for your masters degree in Canada. You will be fine, they won't question you for that.
2-) You must not have property before your application can be approved. Simply add your parents landed property, business assests it's also a good tie to you and also include the birth certificates of each and every members of your family.
3-) 10Million is good to some extent. If I may ask how many dependants does your father have matters alot. Sponsporing your education in Canada will it pose to be a burden to his business, family and personal welfare?. After paying your tuition how much is remaining as the available balance. Remember you need to show proof of funds for your first year tuition and living expenses of 10,000CAD. Yes you can use a co-sponspor if the financial strain will be much on your dad and will affect his available balance. Just make sure the co-sponsor shows commitment to financing your studies in Canada by either paying paying your tuition or transferring funds into your personal account.
4-) Since your co-sponspor is no way related to you. Let her pay your tuition or transfer funds into your account, it will go a long way in addressing proof of relationship. Also, remember to get vital documents from your co-sponsor and everything will be equal.
All the best! Thanks a lot, God bless you |
