Understand the reason behind this gesture. Hope came via Supreme Court judgment which we knew was teleguided by the Presidency. He came 4th in the elections that produced Ihedioha as Governor in 2019.

He knew a government, apart from APC, will upturn the judgment and correct the injustice. The problems in IMO state, and South East by extension, is the unjust imposition of Hope Uzodinjo,sorry Uzodinma, on the people of IMO state.

So,Hope will continue to support APC to ensure his position as Governor of the state is not threatened by emergence of another successor. Hence his is support for Tinubu's APC.
