At least, the Iranian regime can tell their people that they did "something" And it takes how many country to take them down? Even with all the combined effort from allies, two airbase still got hit and an aircraft damaged. |

usmanpogo: I doubt the Russians will ever do that. The relationship between Russia and Israel is really complicated, Take Syria as a case study, the Russians could have supplied air defense to protect all of Syria but yet they decided against it, giving the Israelis free reign over Syria. I understand it could have been worse for Assad if not for the Russians and Iranians.
However, invading Iran was nearly impossible 2 decades ago, why would it be easy now? I believe the Iranian response was more of a message than revenge. It was just a show of force and they were within their rights to retaliate.
In addition, we all know the IDF and mossads are not what they use to be or perhaps they never were as strong as we all perceive. The whole Gaza thing with the hostages shouldn't take this long according to Hollywood 😂😂😂 Seriously, Hamas are no longer getting weapons from outside, the whole gaze strip is under the Israelis control and yet they've got military aid from the US like twice or thrice if I'm correct, come on
In fewer terse, Russia will not stick it's neck out for Iran to attack Israel, I'm pretty sure it's not gonna happen, I think the main weapon they've is not nuclear weapons, Iran has the capacity to cripple the whole middle east, mine the straight of Hormuz, send the price of oil to the sky and every part of the earth would feel the affect effect.
But it's geopolitics, never say never. MOSSAD have always been a joke. Nobody takes them serious. |

WritterNg: ⚡The withdrawal of three countries from ECOWAS means a turning point in France's growing isolation.
"Geopolitical shifts in the Sahel have led to a turning point in France's growing isolation in this strategically important region".
This turn is linked to the withdrawal of Burkina Faso, Mali and Niger from ECOWAS, reflecting their desire to strengthen their sovereignty, their rejection of the regional co-operation mechanisms created with French support and attempts at external pressure, particularly from France. Lol! Three shithole leaving ECOWAS is nothing to worry about. |

SuperSixSeven: The preferred scenario would be for the factions of the Nigerien Army that do not support the coup to join the intervention forces in the initial phase of the operation. An armored company of 12-14 VT-4s and an artillery battery FH-77 or 122mm MLRS would be sufficient to head an advance into the outskirts of Niamey and occupy key strategic positions to allow loyal Nigerien forces to liberate the capital. Situational awareness through air platforms, HUMNIT intelligence, and speed of operation are key elements in this type of operation.
Many observers wonder why intervene in Niger but not previously in Mali, Guinea, and Burkina Faso? The answer: there, the toppled presidents agreed to resign, thereby endorsing the coups. In Niger this is not the case and Mohamed Bazoum remains the legal head of state. Exploiting the cracks in their ranks is the best way to go. |

Every corner of Niger rep in what stance? 85% of the country lacks electricity, and even the 15% connected to electricity consume low power. I mean Niger has one of the lowest, if not the lowest energy consumption in the world. You can't compare them to Nigeria. |

In Niger Rep, the only off the light for maintenance and it only happens once a month and also same thing in Senegal. Kazeem47: Nigeria's Interference on Niger Republic Coup will only bring negative effects in Nigeria.Imposing sanctions is not the way out.Below are some of the effects which I think might follow up in Nigeria. 1-Diplomatic ties will be cut off Temporary till the coup plotters are dismissed. Kazeem47: 2-Insecurity will increase because Niger will pull out their troops that are on joint operations with Nigerian Military in the Lake Chad region Wrong, security will improve instead. The border with Niger will be properly mounted by the armed force, with no single fly coming in or out in the guise of ECOWAS free trade. Kazeem47: 3-Price of grains and Animals we use to buy from them e.g.Cows,Goats, Donkeys, Horses etc will increase thereby doubling the current food crisis we are facing. There are always other source, Niger on the order hand will bleed without Nigeria. Kazeem47: 4-As Nigeria cut off electricity supply to Niger, they will build dam on the River Niger(which runs through their country before flowing into Nigeria) thereby reducing the producing power of Kainji Dam Let them feed themselves before building a dam, with paper in their account. Kazeem47: 5-The military will end up overworking because of the fight in many fronts which in turn will give rise to internal security. The relevant bodies and authorities should advice the president to use peaceful means to tackle Niger's issues. They can send in delegates like the peace ambassador Jonathan and others to talk to them.If they can't hand over back to the deposed president then they should appoint another civil leader before they will prepare for another election. Any military action against Niger is an ECOWAS thing not just Nigeria. Every member will contribute troops. |

Horus: ‘Russia Will Back Niger Republic Against Nigeria’ — Tinubu Warned Against Starting ‘War’
Nigeria’s President Bola Tinubu has been urged to exercise caution after West African leaders led by him threatened to take military action against the new junta that recently ousted President Mohamed Bazoum of Niger Republic.
Bazoum was removed by his personal security aides in the country’s presidential guard — making it the sixth successful coup to be recorded in West Africa since August 2020.
Colonel Major Amadou Abdramane announced the overthrow of Bazoum who took power on April 2, 2021.
THE WHISTLER reported that President Tinubu who doubles as the chairperson of ECOWAS had in his first reaction warned the junta that “the world will not tolerate any situation that incapacitates the democratically-elected government” of Niger Republic.
The ECOWAS leaders subsequently held an emergency meeting on Sunday in Abuja, where they resolved to forcefully invade Niger Republic to restore democratic order in the country.
Amid the threat, the junta reportedly announced that it was immediately suspending the export of uranium and gold to France, with the country said to account for 24% export of uranium to the EU.
But Shehu Sani, the former Senator representing Kaduna Central Senatorial District of Kaduna State, has warned President Tinubu not to “allow himself to be pushed to initiate and trigger a war with a neighbouring country and later be left stranded”.
According to him, Russia may back Niger Republic against Nigeria in the event that a war supervenes.
In a tweet, Sani gave the following thirteen reasons Tinubu should tow the path of negotiation instead of subscribing to use of force in resolving the problem.
1 Ecowas armed invasion of Niger Republic is simply a war between Nigeria and Niger because of our proximity.
2 Russia and Wagner May come in support of Niger Republic and Nigeria will have to use its own money to prosecute the operation; Nigeria offsets 70percent of the budget of Ecowas. I don’t see the US Congress approving unlimited arm supplies for Ecowas to wage war against another country.
3 Our Bordering states of Sokoto, Zamfara, Katsina, Jigawa and Yobe will incur direct hit in the event of war.
4 If there was no military action to dislodge the military coupists in Guinea, Mali, Burkina Faso and Chad, why that of Niger Republic?.
5 Why did the American and French military bases inside Niger Republic refused to stop the coup and now they are encouraging us to go to war?
6 Niger has been helpful to Nigeria in the fight against terrorists groups and the country is currently hosting over 303 thousand Nigerian refugees; in the event of war this can be in danger.
7 President Tinubu should not allow himself to be pushed to initiate and trigger a war with a neighbouring country and later be left stranded. No west African country has any military capability to start or sustain a war with Niger Republic;everyone will be relying on Nigeria.
8 We should not cry more than the bereaved; If the people of Niger Republic don’t want Military rule, let them fight to remove it themselves. We fought our own military rulers and some of us even went to jail in that struggle.Let them fight their fight.
9 Saudi Arabia is still bugged down in Yemen after spending hundreds of billions of dollars which we don’t have.
10 The Military Regime in Myanmar is still there and not one stronger nation is contemplating military action.
11 We have a war at home against terrorism let’s concentrate here.
12 Mali, Burkina Faso and Guinean forces will likely enter the war to Support Niger Republic and they will attack Nigerian territories.
13 President Tinubu must continue to toe the line of dialogue with the military authorities in Niger and not War.
