I suggest u do what is best as the mother. dont do her legs like ur neighbour suggestd since u just started backing her. if u had been backing her before that age then u could do the legs like dat.u r not spoiling her legs. give urselves tym since u n ur baby are both new to this. wit tym u ll start drawing her legs apart. but make sure u do it the yorba way. ., i.e iro and ifunja for now

i hope they aint local /stray dogs. Or r they the foreign types. If they r, try n get d owner to know the health records of the dog.

sweettweet: my daughter had something similar too wjen i had her; i could feel a little lump in her breast. my peadiatrician told me that some babies continue some development in their nipples after birth that it was nothing to worry about that it would go off. i did not even notice whn the thing went off, i just saw it was gone. to allay your fears, take her to ur paed.

@celyt, do not use any drug for baby for teething. if he is hot, use paracetamol, else take him to the clinic. make baby's environment clean, make sure he does not put dirty things in his mouth. these are things that can give him diarrhoea. if he gets very sick, it is possible it is something other than teething.
Paed will tell u that teething is not supposed to make a baby ill.
For the itching enamel, give him a teether to chew on.

na so pead. to tell me o. but he gave me vinaquin and paracetamol. funny thing is that my baby just finishd coatem and paracetamol. i told him but he told me to repeat another. i was skeptical but i gave her. the 2nd day i stopped coz i noticed she was very dull. today i havnt given her and paracetamol or vinaquin and she is quite bubbly. my neighbour gives her son gbomoro or smth like that but i am looking to buy pican

u can use coconut oil either alone or mixed with shea butter i.e if its the original one. it was what antenatal nurses told us to use when i was still doing antenatal check up even a pregnant lady testifyd to it but she said she does it herself. as for u BF and losing weight just try and eat well three times or even four times. eat as much as u like and drink lots of fluid, water to be precise. dont worry u ll be fyn. it just needs getting used to.

sorry i havent being available. what is the situation now with ur animals. the drugs u mentioned was meant to deworm and to make them eat better. how far now? i hope the one down is getting better now.

@toyemz,its a kind of infection that mostly affects babies. I understand it a fungal infection. The yoruba name is 'eela'. dnt knw if u can pronounce it well. It affects d hairline of babies causing hair loss. N also parts of d body causing smkinds of discolouration. I dnt knw how 2 xplin well but i hope ds lil explanatn will help.

THAT THING CAN BE QUITE STUBBORN TO TREAT.IT A FUNGAL INFECTION. THERE IS A PARTICULAR LEAF THAT'S BOILED AND USED IN BATHING THE BABY. ITS KIND OF RED IN COLOUR I DONT KNOW IF U CAN GET IT AROUND. ASK NURSING OR ELDERLY MOTHERS TO DISCRIBE IT TO U. I GOT MINE FROM MY CHURCH COMPOUND. NEXT I USE SHEA BUTTER, COCONUT OIL AND TRIBACT(IT A NEW PRODUCT) MIXED TOGETHER. SOME PEOPLE USE FUNBACT A OR EPIDERM (SMALL AMOUNTS). NORMALLY THE ACTUAL THING IS SHEA BUTTER MIXED WITH ANY OF THESE CREAMS I MENTIONED BUT I ADD EXTRA EFFECT BY ADDING COCONUT OIL BCOZ OF ITS PROPERTIRES. PLEASE TRY IT. ITS NOT BABY OIL THAT CAUSES IT.
ANOTHER THING IS IF UR BABY SWEATS ALOT DURING THE NITE, TRY AND HELP CHANGE HER CLOTHES, NOT DIAPER EXCEPT OF COURSE IF U NEED TO. MOST TIMES SWEAT CAUSES IT.
PLS DONT GO TO HERBAL PEOPLE. IS IT AL OVER THE BODY OR THE HAIRLINE?

The wahala that comes with it both in the womb and after they've been delivered is too much so just thank God for giving Madam what her strenght can carry. Secondly don't wish for a particular sex too before u end up having the opposite. Lol!!! Am taking from experience and the experience of so many of my friends. Though I won't mind being ur inlaw if they turn out to be super falcons just that the list of NL chics on the queue is already long but not to worry, urs too can join the queue. Finally beg Madam to join NL so she can tell us how the twins are kicking her directly. Am happy for u my brother and I wish u both a stressfree pregnancy. The vomiting and nausea should stop in 6wks time by God's grace. Our love to her.

Pls be steadfast n prayerful coz dt God is still alive since the days of Abraham, hanna n even up till now. He did it for me, blendy n other mothers on ds forum n u all r next in line.
Whateva treatment u are onto or about to embark, i pray dt God has made it successfull in d mighty name of Jesus. U all are testimonies. because He has said we should be fruitful n multiply, therefore dt womb MUST carry twins ds year IJN.

its very good for preventing stretch marks. I started using it early in pregnancy and i am still using it. Smtimes i mix a little cream with it. I dnt have a single stretch mark on my skin. I also use for my baby too along with coconut oil. It makes her skin smooth and glossy. It doesnt change d skin colour, it only smoothens it and make it skin look silky n smooth.
I use it for my hair too. I recently had a domestic accident. Hot water poured on my leg. Immediately i applied shea butter. I dnt even have a scar or any mark to show that i had an injury.

and yes llulabi is rite. when they are sweaty clean them up. as for me when her clothe is soaked in sweat, i just change her clothes imm.

hey Blendyy77. i am really happy for you on the birth of ur twins. thank the Lord Jesus for answering us in his waiting room. i remember how u advise it that ivf section. praise the lord for u and ur family. it shall be well with u all. as for ur babies i suggest u use savlon for their bath and use a mild soap like cussons baby soap. johnsons baby products are quite harsh,it affected my baby too. the cussons baby soap is okay cos of its mildness. then try using sheabutter and tribact(its new).its what i used for my daughter when she had some rashes that were springing up here and there. i am still using it with sheabutter and coconut oil mixed together. her skin is very smooth. it clears heat rash too.pls try it. a nurse actually recomended it to me cos it was what she was using for her new baby. i was sceptical at first but now i can testify
as for dusting pwder, u can use agnesia( its is in a red tin)u can use it on their body at nite to bed.. (its what i do)

@blank., pls where is ur pedeatrician located. i need one. i dont have any around my area here except general hospital and we know what that means

@ona2 my baby is also 3months plus soon to be 4months and i have beeen using teething powder since she was 3months, 1/2 morning and night. U can also start with it. Also Pican is when the baby has high temperature due to teehting but i ll advise u not to use Pican without a peadiatrician's advise. Reason is some babies may not have fever during their teething period and some may. Its different for each baby. Teething powder is safer to use.

first n foremost what did ur vet inject the animals with? cos u have a right ti know. Did they poop after that n what was the colour of the poop before n after d injection? Was it watery? Truth is most animals learn to adapt to new environment mostly by not eating. It may take time. U should have been patient n let these animals observe their environment first before they were injected. Is the vet a qualifyed vet doc. The one that isnt eating give it water in a clean bowl n leave the water with it. What is ur location?

@helix and @hannydarl. . . Pls i want ur advice here. My baby will soon be 4months old. When she was 3 1/2 mnths she was weighing 5.7kg so she shuld be 6kg by now. Is her weight ok for her age? Apart from vit c drops, she isnt on any multivitamins but lately she tends to play more and suck a bit here and there and not at once like she used to do; thats during the day. She 's on EBF. Also is there anyone who knows a good pediatrician around Iyana Ipaja. These P.H nurses can be unqualified @ times.

@helixmanager., she is 2 months + and i notice she sneezes one in a while and lil cough when she cries hard. although i asked a doctor friend before i started giving her and he said its ok due to the weather. i give her 0.2 once a day (in the morning).I on the other hand am experiencing loss of appetite. what can i do? i just finished a pack of Pregnancare Breastfeeding and i havnt bought another one yet.

@HELIXMANAGER can i take paracetamol while bfing. i have body pains all over and sometimes i wake up with an headache. i am presently on pregnancare breastfeeding. also can i take vit c. i notice my baby stools so much when i give her baby vit.c (0.2 on the dropper)

@shiles maybe u r feeding ur baby with the foremilk only. try feeding ur baby with one breast at a time i.e. let him/her drain one breast during one feeding. the next feeding give the baby the second breast. the milk that comes out first is light, that is the foremilk and the thicker milk comes later; the hindmilk that is where the fat is. i used to have this problem untill i googled it out. though i was told green stool is normal, i was very woried then i searched online. now i let my baby finish a breast during a feeding (we were also told this at the Health center). the next feeding u offer the other breast.since i started this method, her stool has been a normal colour. pls try it.

@julesboom, it wont darken her. It will only clean her skin and make it soft. I use it for my baby after i tried to use johnson products wch reacted on her skin. The ori is helping to heal her skin as well as makin her skin supple n soft.
I also used it on my skin during pregnancy to prevent stretch marks

@maran, julesboom she was given her 1st immunizatn on 22 oct n my nxt appointment is 4th Dec. She ws given in a Public Health facility. Is d dat nt too far? Coz i m quite worryd.
As for d skin patches, sometimes these foreign things may b too harsh 4 their skin or it may b a particular ingredient. Try cussons baby soap. Its very mild. I use it with Ori(shea butter).

Pls whateva drug u r prescribed, take it but u must always ask questions as well as try and observe ur body; either during ur period or not and pls pray, pray, pray.

I knw the Lord has startd a new thing for me and everyone of u. Just believe and it will be so for u all. To all women out there, there isnt any barren coz God creatd us women fruitful and we are all wonderfuly made. Pls dnt lose hope no matter d report. . . God has done it for us all. Its a good concept. . Is it also open to nigerian women not living in UK? Also i ll lyk u to include fundraising for charities: children with special needs, motherless homes, old peoples home, people living with Hiv/AIDS e.t.c. . . @mrs chima, d issue of infertility is quite a sensitive one esp. on ds thread. Its obvious u never went thru infertility else u wouldnt say 'some women are nt meant to have kids.' its quite hurtful frm a fellow woman to another. Let me ask u: y did u have kids with ur husband? Y did u nt adopt kids urself irrespective of d kids u have? Or y dnt u give ur kids up for adoption? Have u ever experienced 'infertility'? Will u want ur daughter or son's wife never to have kids cos accdn to u, not every woman is meant to have?
U need to b encouraging n nt critizing. D fact that u had ur kids easily dsnt give u room to 'critisize' others. It is said that in situations lyk these if u have nothin to say then dnt say anythin at all. U really need to think before u talk. . .and also learn to respect other people in whateva situation u find them in.

There are other ways u can raise money 4 ur biz. . Y try to make ur wife do smth both of u will hate each other for in future? Or are u tryin 2 'collect' all d things u gave her. . Sorry to say this o, but @ 40+ u are a fool.
