Politics › Re: Why Are Nigerians Negative About Nigeria? by omogenaija(f): 2:53am On May 31, 2006 |
Nigeria just like any other country , has its negative and postive. Even America just has its negatives. But Nigeria has a bigger percent of negatives , but that doesnt mean people should 4get the good part of Naija. I know Nigeria's corrpution's level is high. There labs and hospitals arent as advance. Proverty level is high. But that doesnt mean we should 4get that the nigerian culture is beautiful. Nigerians are beautiful. Nigerian food taste good. Nigerian music is hotter than pepe soup. Nigerian movies are good and getting better. And lastly from what I've seen , students that go to high school in Nigeria are smarter than the high school students in America. So why are Nigerians negative about Nigeria Maybe because when they see the negative they forget about the postive parts of Nigeria. But thats just my view. What do I know |

As for me, I pick Atorise anyday and anytime because his voice is just too beautiful.
Dare Melody is nice to. But I have to go with Atorise. |

Zahymaka: Tochi, I understand what you mean. In some cases, birth control pills when prescribed by doctors are used to regularize the monthly flow and to alleviate some of the effects -- especially for people who secrete excess hormones.
Most pills however, upset the balance of the female body because they inhibit your hormones. They should be used with caution because you might turn out getting something you never expected.
Because it slows down hormones the subject might find it hard to get pregnant and even harder to lactate. isn't that the point of birth control. to find it hard to get pregnant ? |

leilata: @ omogenaija. the BC pills are very effective and safe (at least to my knowledge). but it works differently for everyone. For example i get migraines when i use them and i was advised to go for the patch or injection which i object to. You have to consult your gyneacologist before you take them. they will best advice you for what is suitable for you. also what you might be adminstered might be different depending on age size and other factors (are you forgetful or not etc) so you defo need to speak to a qualified doctor/specialist. thanks. |
Romance › Re: Girls! Would You Collect A Gift From A Man You Dont Want? by omogenaija(f): 2:08am On May 25, 2006 |
davidylan: Gift ko, present ni! When you asking a girl out, keep your gifts to your pocket, guys, they are not worth wasting until you are dead sure she's in!
I rarely do give gifts (material i mean) and when i do it's usually at least 2-3 weeks after we've started dating. There's so little to waste especially on someone who won't be worth it at the end of the day. Call me selfish, it's only being protective, no point casting your pearls before swine.
Gifts don't make the girl like you more ( a girl who needs gifts to decide to date you is someone to run away from if you are interested in a REAL long term commitment), the really serious, upright girls won't accept your gifts (those are the ones to die for, they have a sense of right and wrong and can be dependable in character), loose ones will accept in the name of ("sebi he wanted to waste his money), those ones you do not wish on your cousin! I agree with u 10000 %. omo dada ni e. |

@ hotangel i understand wat u mean by double dating because thats the same way i use it. but what the author of this topic is trying to say is double dating means for a person to knowingly date someone that already is seeing another person or other ppl. but i feel u. |
Romance › Re: Is it Ok To Double-Date? by omogenaija(f): 10:13pm On May 24, 2006 |
There's no pretence here. Double dating is not a sin. Wife/spouse swapping is wrong, i won't engage myself in such. But double dating is you and your boyfriend, your friend and her boyfriend. Two couples on a date. Dictionary meaning: # go out on a date with a partner and another couple; "let's double date this Saturday" aunty hot-angel ur right. i know wat ur talking bout. but i think the author of this topic is using the term double datinng in the sense that 2 girls dating 1 guy. 2 guys dating 1 girl etc. basically more than 1 person dating 1 person. do u feel me and i understand ur meaning , and the way u use double dating is how i use it. # A date in which two couples participate. I don't know wtf the noise is about. But seriously, is there another meaning to double dating?
|
Family › Re: Prenuptial Agreements by omogenaija(f): 3:27am On May 24, 2006 |
chinani: Yes, maybe. But then I have to ask, why marry someone you aren't sure about? It's a free world. If you aren't sure, WAIT! Patience is a virtue. I think people are very hasty & this is why PreNups are popular. But PreNups aren't air tight. Judges only give them a cursy glance in the UK - ask Mick Jagger. And in the US, well Donald Trump's 1st wife got more than their pre & post nuptial agreement specified. I guess a good lawyer makes a difference. His 2nd wife got the specified amount. His 3rd wife. . .well I guess THIS is why rich people get PreNups. They marry for a season.
@Seun I don't ski dive either. But really, if at the alter your bride shrugs & says "I guess so" instead of "I do" wouldn't you re-consider? To me, PreNups are the written equivalent. chinani: I disagree with it. Marriage is a risk. There is no minimizing this. Prenups are an illusion of protection. Anyhow, if a man is afraid to trust me then I'm afraid of him. I agree with u 100000000 % homegirl. u took the words right out of my mouth. I couldnt have said it better myself. |

DAMMYGLOW: i was watching a program on NTA and he was interviewed about the lady that was pregnant for him and he said to the presenter that he got someone pregnant when he did not want to.
then who the hell is he to tell people about using a condoms that AIDS is REAL on soundcity, when he has no self moral. only silly girls can fall for someone like him
i also want ti use this oppourtunity to say that tu face is not the best nigeria has to offer.
he is more like peak milk how? i know that's what most people will ask. peak milk has the priviledge of being the best milk in nigeria. when there are othere better one. he is where he is based in promotion not on talent.
i don't hate tu face. am just saying my mind. I agree with u. |
