Yes walcom I agree with you. However, the only condition that a company would be deemed to have gone comatose in the real sense is if the company has been wound up or it has been de-Registered by the CAC. Given that either of these two conditions has not occured, then the company is still in theory in existence. All you need to do is to make one or too inquiries at the CAC. As for the Landed properties, they will always be there for you since there is nothing in our law that bars a foreigner from owing a property. My fear is the Nigeria of 1991 is not that of 2007. It means anybody could have laid hands on the title documents and dispose off the properties. The starting point is to obtain a Nigerian Visa and find your way here. You could still be fortunate to have them.

It is good that good people like you are thinking of investing in Nigeria. Before I make any meaningful suggestion(meaningful you know is relative), I will like to tell you about AA Rescue. Somebody sat down and thought of helping people whose car breakdown and by extension make his money. The company has close to 100,000 cars subscription on a yearly payment of 25,000 NGN. Whereever your vehicle breaks down all you need is a call. Now there is Durojaiye Mobile Toilet, providing mobile toilets for events, conference and occassions. Today I am aware that they have close to 50,000 mobile toilets or more which are constantly put to use, I must remind you that it is not free. There are a lot of pioneering business/investment that you can do well in. I am not too much in agreement with all these fast investments going on around here. I do not have problem with them but I think it is High Time we broke away from the norm of doing what everybody is doing. When there are actually things nobody is doing which can fetch money. Seun, pls watch the way you handle issues that relate to lawyers, I have read one or two of your comments in one or two threads in relation to LP they are not too fantastic. You are highly respected, don't bring yourself lo. ok. Meanwhile, there is no law in this country that bars professional from charging anyhow, that is why we call it profesional fee. If an accountant charges 2m for an audit job and you are not pleased with that you can go to another who will charge 1m or 500k. So also a lawyer. Professional fee is dependent upon the personality. After all OBJ paid 250m to a SAN for the same services(incoporation). Abi I lie?

well as far as incorporation is concerned if you are not a lawyer or accountant you cannot register a LLC (Limited Liability Company). So whatever info anybody gives you is at best a theory. Coz u will need an acrreditation number.
Don't worry I can do it for you for one week(putting in mind one day incoporation at the CAC Abuja which is 50k)- just prepare a fee of 250k and you will have your cert in 5 working days.

bros as an Immigration expert. If you want to travel by all means try Canada. Coz the BDHC keeps record. If you file an application even if you hide your history they will know. i give you an example, a client of mine filed an application at the BHC Abuja, he was denied, a year later he applied in Lagos and he denied ever being denied entry to the U.K . The denied him again on the grounds that He hid his history. It took me about 6 months be4 he could have the tribunal rule in his favour. so just like others have said don't bother. try elsewhere.

Hi, I am an Immigration Lawyer. Well nobody can give u 100% G. except they want to forge documents for you. On the other hand it is easier to travel to d U.K than to the U.S coz the U.K has appeal procedure and can also review refusal and turn the decision. As for the U. S once you are denied you are on your own. I advice that you try applying to U.K Schools if you have the Pay.
