FYI I have never voted in any election in this nation and it's certainly not because of age restriction.

The ones removing it now are not doing so because they have a grand plan of using the funds to better the lives of ordinary Nigerians, it is to have more funds to loot.

Like every well brought up young man, I'm in my early 30's and really doing fine at least I'm not begging for anything from anyone.

I set out this year to wife my girlfriend whom I had dated for 2 years but her character made me think twice so we broke up and I moved on. I have tried to make friends with matured ladies in the church I worship but it's been from one bad experience to another.

Ever since I started looking for a woman to call my wife I have been meeting different characteristics of women.
Within the space of 1 year I've met one who is a maniac, one I met at a hangout didn't hesitate to show her lazy attitude the day she came to my place to see I'm a bit comfortable, another one I met recently in church turned out to be a thief.

You seem to think protest will have immediate effect on insecurity. It won't.
Asking the government to exercise its power such as in the case of EndSars or subsidy protest
is quite different. There is no off and on switch for insecurity.

When a core tribalist like Buhari's can't even protect his close clans in his village
from violence, that should give you a hint of what is happening.

OBJ said it better few days ago.
Buhari has nothing more to offer. The situation is beyond his capability.
So people have to buckle their belt as the insecurity issue rages on or prepare
for a marathon protest into 2023.

I'll try to be brief on this.


During the dedication service of a new Church building, Vicarage and Church Hall of St. Peter's Anglican Church, Magbon-Alade, in Eti-Okun Archdeaconry, Lagos, yesterday, Saturday, 11 December 2021, I witness something that I still ponder on and will still be memorable.

In the past, bodies like MURIC and other religious groups tend to make one believe there's much division and the Yorubas religious wise but seems that may not be entirely true.

During the dedication service, one of my colleagues and I were opportune to be around a young lady who took out her time to interpreting some of the proceedings in Yoruba to us. The said lady during the service sang along, prayed, participated in all other events. Moreover, she also dressed in the event attire "ashoebi".

Towards the end of the programme, I try to inquire the particular parish she worship. To my surprise, she said, she's a Muslim but was only invited. This was a great surprise to my colleague and I since she participated in most of the activities of that day.

Ever since that shocking revelation by her, I have been wondering and pondering on, what could be the missing line to the series of publications about religious intolerance among the Yorubas? Can we as a people not learn from such act of harmonious life style? Should religion or even denomination divide us?

Religious and community leaders should look for ways to promote harmonious living and religious tolerance among our people.
