Hello guys, I want to study nursing in the UK but I am told I do not meet the entry requirements becos my last educational qualification was in 2008(12 yrs) while Thier limit is btw 5-10yrs for adult student . I was asked to go for Access courses from one of the colleges in the UK, so as get the needed qualification to apply for Nursing degree. Now my question is this : -Can I get a visa by applying through a college education? -The college education is usually two years , can I get a student visa as well as a post work visa, so that I can be able to save up for my nursing degree ? I am a bit confuse about this college affair . -Are there universities that offer foundation courses for nursing? I would prefer that as it will be easier to get into Thier undergraduate courses for nursing . Does any one know of a cheaper college that offers foundation courses in nursing with flexible payment options ? Thank you as I await a positive response from you . |

All Nigerian women? stop the stereotype. There are so many women out there that are footing major bills in the house and pushing the home front, without anyone one knowing it. They are good wives and most times cover up for thier husbands, who dont have a job or a better paying one. As soon as puberty is confirmed, it becomes OK to exploit them? What the hell are you talking about .? I am wondering how young girls could birth a child if not that they attained puberty quite early . I am only shocked that a child of nine could actually give birth to a baby at such a young age . That is why I was asking if girls now attain puberty much earlier than we expected . |

Justmesagi: I have seen and read here and other media outlets some comments like: "I would rather support Atiku instead of Tinubu", "if the Southwest are playing smart the North should contest in 2023", "Yorubas are too greedy" and so on....
I want to believe that this sentiment of voting in another Fulani in 2023 is limited to a minimum percentage of our population in the South. How would you vote another Fulani because you want to spite Tinubu or the Yoruba people and then face another 8 years of hardship? Think.
Economic downturn, worse Hdi, higher unemployment, nepotism, all round failure should make you have a logical rethink if you aren't blinded by hate. Or is this just a scare mongering strategy to deter the Southwest from presenting a candidate?
If so, where are your candidates from the East and South because pdp has had there convention and aspiring candidates have bared their ambition. Non from the East.
If you are hoping of contesting under APC then you are being unreasonable and hopelessly hopeful. Why? You have been in the PDP for so long yet they didn't consider you worthy enough to allow you contest under their platform. So why would the APC of yesterday trust you with the mandate? Secondly, you never laboured enmass (I repeat, enmass) to bring the APC to where it is today, or let me say your region is not a major shareholder in the party to be considered as strategic and so deserves compensation with the party ticket.
I am not saying I will support Tinubu or Osinbajo or any Yoruba candidate if they will be contesting against any Eastern or South South candidate in 2023, but I will definitely support a Yoruba candidate over another Fulani in 2023.
A lesser evil is manageable between two evils. Over my dead body if are to choose only between a Tinubu Vs Atiku .Non of them abeg . If we vote in Tinubu.. He might end up like Buhari ,who has made London his second home for his medical treatment. He is frail and not strong with the kind of problem that Nigeria is facing ..we need strong president with his full thinking faculty intact ..haba! . On the other hand , voting an Atiku, would enboldened the evil Fulanis' much more. This time around ,they will spit on our faces & tell us to do our worse, becos they have people backing them from above .Then the raping of our women & children will increase .They will continue to kill our farmers, and take possession of Thier crops & land for Thier cows to graze on and still ask us not to complain, nor seek any protective measures against them . Since it a taboo for the Fulanis to rebuke or confront thier kins men or call them to order when they have erred , then I suggest we hold on to A southern president for now , since we are currently under the occupation of the backward northern rule . .. For God's sake, we have an Osibanjo, Femi Adeshina, Peter Obi, Moghalu and so many capable hands that credible , strong and have the thinking cap to lead this country . Why are you asking us to choose between the Devil and the red blue sea ? Tinubu Vs Atiku is like that . Both are bad choices for us . Nigeria is going nowhere with either of these two men in power . I am surprised that a third force has still not been able to emerge & to bring in a new face that is worthy and credible to lead this great nation . Why must we be left to choose only between with two old hags ? |

Politics › Re: Is Southern Unity For Yoruba Gain Alone? by omoharry(f): 12:37pm On Nov 07, 2021 |
Penguin2: No Igbo wants to come out because should an Igbo man get the PDP ticket, it is you the Yoruba that kill his candidacy with propaganda with your media arsenal. You will make sure to remind northerners that a vote for an Igbo man is a vote for Nnamdi Kanu and that he will divide Nigeria.
We know you. We have seen through you.
And besides, who said power must be about contestations?
Why can’t Nigeria develop its brand of democracy where zoning is constitutionally entrenched? It will reduce apprehensions, bickering, violence and tensions that come with this struggle for power as we presently have it.
No region of this country is in lack of people with capacity. Or is there?
It is people like you who enjoy violence and spilling of blood that are against zoning so that power will be contested in the brutish old ways which brings about rancour and bitterness. Why must it be so? Can you please stop thinking that every body that does not agree with you way of doing things are Yorubas. It an insult to other minority tribe . |

tamdun: nobody is holding u back, all Southerners are free to present their candidate or are u telling us sw don't have the right to contest? Exactly my thought . The SE cannot expect the presidential ticket to fall on thier lap, just like that na! I am from the SS but I believe the Igbos are not serious in clinching that position yet..Just look at the last PDP convention , only the Northerners had flyers and posters every where to indicate Thier interest but Peter Obi posters were no where to be found . No region will go out of thier way to fight & support another region, knowing that every is region selfish and self centered, and only looking out for Thier own . You cannot complain that other region are not giving the SE a chance when you guys have not been able to launch any meaningful & massive campaign in support of one credible candidate from the SE. These other region can manage to look your way after various lobbying and convincing for them to see reason why your region should be given a chance. And at this junction , the SE must be able to bring forth a credible candidate that other regions can reckon with & reconsider for the sake of equity (especially now that Nigerians are looking for a viable person go lead us out of this hell hole that we have all found ourselves). Then the SE leaders can travel even further, across board to mend fences with old foes in other regions and create new allies as well; so as so as to lobby their support for your candidate. All I have been seeing from the SE is thier desire to clinch the presidential seat, which is executed by only talking , issuing threat here and there and telling Nigerians why the Igbo must be given the Number one seat but there is no concrete plan and any meaningful task on ground to achieve that . No consultation among themselves on who they should present for that position. No traveling across the nook &cranny of Nigeria to consult, lobby to sell Thier candidate. The only thing we have been seeing from Thier Governors are ass-licking and betrayal of Thier own people with the hope that they will be favoured to clinch the presidential seat. |
