I would rather vote for a credible and upstanding etheist that willing to lead Nigeria well than a wicked and twisted leader that claims to be a Christian or a Muslim .Anyone candidate with this attribute who does not belong to the two major religion is a welcome development to me. These two major religion( christain and Islam ) are filled up with hypocrites with wicked twisted minds . For a change let someone without any link to this two religion to take the center stage for once . |

TemmyT002: Olodo Religion is not the problem. The people are the problem. The same religion has saved a lot of lives since before you were born. ya ! religion itself is not a problem but the use of religion to cause problems by our corrupt politicians and fake and greedy religious leaders is the problem. They have turned religion into a tool to cause hatred & disharmony among people .They have succeeded in breeding bigotry among the people against others , they have use religion to oppression thier poor subject , and use it as a tool of distabilization and destruction among these people.Religion is supposed to be use for the good of humanity but some instructions written in the holy book are twisted and is being use to perpetuate evil against mankind . So religion can be use for both good & evil .The latter is what religion is been for in Nigeria . |

GodHatesBigots: Especially Islam and Christianity - they should be banned !!! ya ! They should be bound from our political space .Everyone should practice Thier religion privately. No public preaching and disturbing people with mega phone .Evangelism should be carried out just like the way the Jehovah witnesses preach quietly to people without making notice all over the place . .The morning call from the mosque should also be bound too..Anything that constitute to noise pollution must be eradicated.. Govt must have nothing to do we religion ..it is one of the problem of Nigeria. And the reason why Nigerians cannot think objectively. So I concur. |

God1000: We shouldn't be talking about something like this in a sane and well structured society, but Nigeria is the opposite of that, hence the need to ask this germane question.
Though it sounds risible but we're faced with ugly reality right now, the 2023 elections will be characterized by cynicism and skepticism, there are already suspicions here and there, the political desperados will do anything humanly possible to undermine our democracy and the will/wishes of well meaning Nigerians, these knaves are also heating up the polity! we must unite together and stop them.
Their parochial interest and inordinate ambitions supersede national interest, all they are after is self aggrandisement and preservation.
Winning a presidential election in Nigeria is a tall order, it requires alliances and serious political maneuvering.
My concern now is that if South East is denied the opportunity to govern Africa's largest democracy in 2023, what will happen? Nothing will happen..and beside who are the people desperate for the Igbo presidency ?If not their selfish and wicked leaders that do not care about Thier own people . The Igbo want BIAFRA or Restructuring..Soo their stupid & wicked politicians can go on Thier knees if they wish but Thier position as president will not change anything as long as Nigeria continue to operate under this faulty foundation. Neither will a Yoruba presidency change anything either . The only way their emergence as president will be a good thing is if they have the balls to restructure this country without any fear of offending the North. |

Rtk5: Men you need to hussle and if possible avoid marriage. The worst thing that can ever happen to a man is going broke.
Please I am not trying to poison anybody's heart. It is good to fall in love and marry the right partner. I tell you most solemnly, until things get bad, you will never know the real attitude of your partner.
I remember when I lost my job and things became so bad that I planned to kill my self on a certain day, what stopped me from committing suicide was I fell into a deep sleep that I didn't wake up till the next day at around 8am. On waking up i relaized that God did something to me that i couldn't explain till today and the thought of suicide vanished.
Back to my topic, there was a day during my times of trial and hardship that my wife told me she wanted to go and visit her male friend in his house, I stopped her by saying why will a married woman do that and you even have the guts to tell me. It ended in a fight, anytime we have any slight quarrel, she will pack her things and leave to her mum's place and the family always support her actions without knowing from me what happened.
There was a time when our child was just barely few months old, i left the house for an interview, i trecked about 3km to the venue, she left him at home and went to only God knows where, only for her to call me that she has left the house and my son for me, that i should get home before he wakes up from sleep, i couldn't wait for the interview to get to my turn, i begged a random person on the road and he gave me #1,000 that was after i begged more than ten different people with other refusing to answer me not to talk of helping. I ran home and thank God i met him just waking up. I took him back to the interview and a kind lady helped me with him until it got to my turn and i finished and went back home.
In the night at about 7pm while i was preparing to bath him, she entered the house and carried him to bath him, i didn't utter a word and i forgave her.
Guys, you need to see how thin i became during those trials, no single food to eat. I became a shadow of myself, i became so shy of walking in public because of how frustrated i became. I have many experiences but i rest my case here.
The sad reality right now is that we are still married, while the good is that things have improved 10times better than it has ever been but i've placed her where she belongs. The only thing stopping me from divorce is what people will say and my image. Do you know that honestly she hasn't learnt her lessons as she is still a problem to me, always nagging and i don't have peace in my own house.
Right now i'm on the process of divorce and i'm building resistance to whatever people will say. So sorry for your experience. You married a bad wife that didn't love you. That was why she misbehave badly after you lost your job . However,I dont think you should generalize that all women would mis-behave when thier husband is out of work . My sister's husband was in your shoe 5years ago..He lost his job and she had to step in to cater for the family for almost two years . I didn't know he lost his job until after a year .She just told me that he is about starting his business and all that . He is now doing very well with his business and they are doing fine . So not all women will behave like your wife that behaved badly when you lost your job . Pele. |

These people and the entire RCCG actually believed that Buhari had what it takes to lead Nigeria into a first world.
These people went to school. Many are professors. Some claimed to have direct access to God.
Some are gifted with "prophesies".
They read history. They understood international relations. They understood how societies work or so we thought.
They were more than 20 years old in 1983 when Buhari shot himself to power.
They saw Buhari murder innocent Nigerians in 1983.
They saw Buhari destroy the economy in 1983.
They saw the role Buhari played in Abacha's government.
They read all the threats of violence by Buhari against the nation.
They saw Buhari harass Lam Adesina the Oyo State Governor due to Fulani herdsmen conflicts with locals in Oyo State.
They saw Buhari lead the sharia protest that claimed the lives of innocent Nigerians in 2001.
They saw Buhari and his minions open the gate of hell on innocent Nigerians when he lost the presidential election in 2011.
If Buhari was not speaking and defending his Fulani heritage he would be fighting to defend his religious heritage.
Never for once did he defend Nigeria or gave interview on how to rebuild the economy, education, power, health, etc.
They saw everything this man did. They knew him too well to miss the little details of his violent life.
But they were united in hatred.
Hatred for Goodluck Ebele Jonathan. One among the few Nigeria leaders that actually wanted Nigeria to work.
Hatred became a unifying force to push forward a false narrative.
They exploited his humility.
They exploited his kindness.
They exploited his humanity
They danced and made merry in Ojota. They ate, drank and danced away the destiny of a nation.
Saints Tinubu, Amaechi, Fashola etc led the chorus against ‘corrupt’ Goodluck Jonathan.
Tinubu a private jet owner and owner of Lagos, Amaechi a private jet owner and funder of Buhari campaign, Atiku a University owner paid with his civil service allowance etc wanted ‘corrupt’ Goodluck Jonathan out.
But the people did not see the moral paradox because you see - hate is a unifying factor.
They mobilised thugs to stone a sitting President.
They harassed his family wherever they went.
Because they are from the hated minority who must NOT be king.
For Kings must come from the Fulani lineage. Jonathan is Ijaw. Ijaws should not be Kings.
Jonathan must not loot also.
For looters must come from enablers of evil.
These are intellectuals.
Amongst whom are Pastors and Prophets.
Wisdom failed.
Prophesies failed.
WAEC issued a fake WAEC attestation to Buhari.
It is possible many Nigerian "intellectuals" are working with fake certificates.
A nation without conscience is a curse to its people.
We all are standing on the podium of history.
Humanity beckons.
Surely our children will read the roles we played in the salvation or annihilation of humanity.

There are many such shipping ports dotted all over West Africa and other parts. Before Europeans arrived, that place must always have been a port!!. Otherwise, why did white people anchor their ships there? And how did they anchor there? Such places were originally meant for legitimate business before the Atlantic slave trade began. During slavery, they were used to process the slaves before shipping. IT WASN'T A MARKET!!!.
Do you think the only and first business to happen between Europe and Africa was slavery?

Some of you are just criticizing without any knowledge of basic economics.
Buhari has tried. Immediately he came on board, he instituted fertilizer and subsidy schemes in agriculture to diversify the economy away from oil.
He declared tax holidays in the mining industry to encourage investors to invest away from oil. But Nigerian billionaires like Dangote would rather invest in oil.
No administration has had a vibrant natural mineral ministry as the one Buhari led.

Insecurity: Buhari at 79: I appreciate the unseen works you’ve done ― Tinubu
Senator Bola Tinubu, a former Governor of Lagos State, has congratulated President Muhammadu Buhari on his 79th birthday.
Tinubu, in a statement signed by him on Friday in Lagos, described the President as a great reformer and democrat.
The All Progressives Congress (APC) National Leader said beyond his admiration and gratitude for the President’s achievements in office, he was proud to call him a friend and a brother.
“Your legacy as a great reformer and democrat will live long into the future.
” You are a man of high intellect and exceptional character,” he said.
Tinubu said that despite prevailing challenges, the president had continued to steer the ship of Nigeria through the most turbulent of waters.
“Your tenure in office has coincided with some of the most difficult and challenging times this country and, indeed, the entire global community has faced.
“Economic crises, global pandemics, insecurity and criminality have all played a role in making the past few years difficult for the people of our great country.
“Yet, despite it all, you continue, calmly and with uncommon dignity, to steer the ship of Nigeria through the most turbulent of waters.
“I, therefore, wish to appreciate the unseen and underappreciated work that you have done and continue to do to guide Nigeria ever nearer to its manifest destiny,” he said.
The former governor of Lagos said that through the careful leadership and measured governance of the country, the President’s administration had achieved many things for which the people could be proud.
He said that under President Buhari’s watch, previously abandoned infrastructure projects had been completed all over the country.
“Unheralded reforms and measures taken by your administration are also taking effect to bring greater transparency and accountability to governance,” he said
“I wish you a wonderful birthday and many more years in good health and renewed strength.
“Happy birthday Mr President,” he said.
