3 out 5 could be an exaggeration in some settings but it won't be far from the truth in others.

In Canada, the country you guys love to cite as a well functioning one. The one most of you dream of traveling to. Doctors protested the underpayment of other health workers.
After Canada, where else?

Don't worry Nigeria and Nigerians will survive when we change our ways.

Enjoy the day!

Being a typical Nigerian is fighting to ensure other professionals don't get the remuneration they deserve even though it will in no way affect yours. A stark contrast to saner climes where doctors protest against underpayment of other health professionals.

Now that's being a typical, selfish, evil and backward Nigerian
Hear yourself 3 out of 5 significant errors. Is that True?

So in how many countries did doctors ask for raised pay for other health workers? Is that International best practice?

Very soon this will happen:

A doctor prescribes then the consultant pharmacist says prescription is wrong or not good enough. She becomes teacher and reviewer of doctor's diagnosis determined prescription....you can guess the outcome.

You point to international best practice. When it comes to Nigeria it's another ball game. Our corruption and near insanity exploits the IBP for selfish reasons.

Terrible!

Country where abnormality is becoming norm. In Nigeria of today even a male hospital orderly and CHEW present themselves as doctor. They are called doctor and they don't correct the people.

Pharmacists and Lab. Technologist / Scientists are also called doctors by ignorant populace and they are not corrected either.

Pharmacists now consult in their shops. They see customers and ask them to do lab tests, take blood pressure and prescribe drugs!! Even optometrists pose as ophthalmologists and say they are MD. If you press further they say MD means Managing Director!!!

A lot of stupid pride, inferiority complex and envy of doctors are involved here.

These people want their kids to become doctors. Some of them had wanted to study medicine but couldn't make cut off marks, etc

Patients come to see doctors. When JOHESU members are sick or their loved ones who do they go to see?

Lord have mercy on us. We are in a mess! The Health Sector may end up being privatised. We need a Surgeon-General of the Federation. Also we need a law that effectively ensures no one gets a medication without doctor's prescription. Culprits should be punished.

Terrible!

1.
Jesus strongly approves of the law and the prophets. He hasn't the slightest objection to the cruelties of the Old Testament. Mathew 5:17.

2.
Jesus criticizes the Jews for not killing their disobedient children as required by Old Testament law. (See Ex 21:15, Lev 20:9, Dt 21:18-21) Matthew 7:9-10

I pray your eyes opens.

Death for Blasphemy

One day a man who had an Israelite mother and an Egyptian father got into a fight with one of the Israelite men. During the fight, this son of an Israelite woman blasphemed the LORD’s name. So the man was brought to Moses for judgment. His mother’s name was Shelomith. She was the daughter of Dibri of the tribe of Dan. They put the man in custody until the LORD’s will in the matter should become clear. Then the LORD said to Moses, “Take the blasphemer outside the camp, and tell all those who heard him to lay their hands on his head. Then let the entire community stone him to death. Say to the people of Israel: Those who blaspheme God will suffer the consequences of their guilt and be punished. Anyone who blasphemes the LORD’s name must be stoned to death by the whole community of Israel. Any Israelite or foreigner among you who blasphemes the LORD’s name will surely die. PLEASE REFER TO MY RESPONSE TO YOUR BROTHER firstolalekan

Christianity has always been practised till date. Unfortunately, in most cases it has not been according to what Jesus intended. Real Christians according to the new testament are 'few'.

This discussion is not about tithe. So no comments.

What are your comments on Mat.15.4 & 10.35? What are you trying to say here?

New Testament mantra? Yes, I am a Christian. My focus is on the New Testament. The Jew was given the Old Testament referred to as 'shadow'. The NEW is the REALITY an update and upgrade.

The old is candle light. The new is Sunlight!

BetaThings:
1. Then Nobody has ever practised christianity
2. You lied Luke 22:36

Matthew 15:4

Matthew 10:35
All the above are from new testament by the way

All this resort to the New Testament, new Testament mantra will not work. Is the authority for tithe not in the old testament?

Your religion is an incomplete metamorphosis movement

Your bible is the most violence encouraging book in the world. From exodus to leviticus to numbers.
If you are a true Christian, you won't tell us craps about old and new testament when your 419 pastors still use malachi to Preach tithing, still uses genesis to teach creation etc. But avoid exodus, leviticus etc like plague. Is that not hypocrisy?

SEE SOME OF THE LAWS JESUS CAME TO FULFILL.

Death to Followers of Other Religions

Whoever sacrifices to any god, except the Lord alone, shall be doomed. (Exodus 22:19 NAB)

Kill Nonbelievers

They entered into a covenant to seek the Lord, the God of their fathers, with all their heart and soul; and everyone who would not seek the Lord, the God of Israel, was to be put to death, whether small or great, whether man or woman. (2 Chronicles 15:12-13 NAB)
YOUR RESPONSES ARE UNCOUTH AND VIOLENT. THEY REFLECT THE SPIRIT IN YOU. I UNDERSTAND YOU.

THE BIBLE IS THE MOST VIOLENT BOOK IN THE WORLD? REALLY?

GOD GAVE ISRAEL THE LAW THROUGH MOSES. THE LAW INCLUDED CEREMONIAL, CIVIL AND MORAL LAWS TO GUIDE A NATION. VARIOUS PUNISHMENTS WERE STATED FOR VARIOUS OFFENCES. IN SOME CASES THESE INCLUDED THE DEATH PENALTY LIKE ANY NATION. THIS IS NO VIOLENCE NOR TERRORISM.

OUR DISCUSSION HERE IS NOT ON TITHING. SO NO COMMENT.

HOW DID JESUS COME TO FULFIL THE LAW? IT'S NOT WHAT TO LISTED.

JESUS FULFILLED THE CEREMONIAL LAW BY SUBJECTING SELF TO THEM e.g. Sabbath worship.

HE FULFILLED THE CIVIL LAW OF MOSES BY BEING A LAW ABIDING JEW.

HE FULFILLED THE MORAL LAW BY LOVING HIS NEIGHBOUR

HE GAVE BETTER UNDERSTANDING OF THE LAW AND GAVE IT IT'S PROPER INTERPRETATIONS e.g. loving one's enemy not just a neighbour

TELL ME HOW MANY PEOPLE DID JESUS KILL?

YOU VERY WELL KNOW YOU ARE LYING.

Keep deceiving yourself.
Who told you war was a necessity? Why didn't your god not just kill all the enemies by himself?

Over time, Christians have been very violent. In the 17th century, millions non-Christians were killed for various crimes ranging from heresy to blasphemy to accusations of being witches.

Terrorism and violence is not synonymous to any religion.
There's nothing like earthly Christian nation. It's an abberation. Nations, institutions and individuals that killed in the name of Christianity or Jesus did it on their own. Jesus never asked them to. Violence is not synonymous with Jesus, Biblical New Testament Christianity and true Christians. Neither is terrorism.

It's not the same with your religion from its inception till date. And you know.

1) Thank God that there's an old testament and a new testament.

2) In the old testament God was establishing a nation, Israel, that had to wage wars to survive in the midst of enemy nations around. It was simply a necessity. Israel is still surrounded by enemy nations to this day and still fighting. If not for her military superiority, possession of nuclear device and American support no Jew would be alive today as few as they are and as small as their land is.

3) The new testament is about a spiritual nation called Church. We fight with spiritual weapons. Humans are not our REAL enemies. Satan and demons are. Jesus said we should love our human enemies and do good to them.

4) So if God commanded Israel to defend herself as a nation, are you justifying killing fellow citizens because of their faith?

5) As for Muslims being killed, who is killing them? Christians?

God dey!

Thank you very much!

Adieza:
I promised to write about what is killing people in Nigeria today. Nigerians should be focused on solving these problem instead of fighting over GMO they don't understand yet. This i what is causing most of the cancer going around now:

1.) Ripening agent for banana and plantain. Because people are in hurry to harvest their bananas and plantain. they spray it with Calcium carbide. This is a ripening agent and makes the plantain to ripen very quietly. It is extremely hazardous to the human body as it contains traces of arsenic and phosphorus.

So anytime you buy ripe plantain in the market chances are you are buying plantain ripened with Calcium carbide.

Solution: Buy unripe Plantains and Banana and keep it inside black plastic for few days, it will ripe naturally.

2.) Most Nigerian farmers, if not all of them use a chemical called "Sniper" as added ingredient for pest control. Sniper is potent and it scares me. It is a DDVP, 2,2-Dichlorovinyl dimethyl phosphate compound. An organophosphate that readily binds to the lungs and kidney causing cancer. It is almost in everything you eat in Nigeria. Even the looters eat it too.

Solution: You are on your own here because it is everywhere.

3.) Weevil controls in Beans with Aluminum phosphide (AlP). This is the most dangerous food pollution in Nigeria. Because weavil can destroy the entire year harvest of the farmer in few days. They drop tablets of Aluminum Phosphide inside each bag of beans.

They think that one tablet is enough to drive weevils away from the bag of beans. Yes they are right, but that one tablet can drive weevil away from an entire Silo or 50 tone of beans. Do the maths yourselves.

Unfortunately, it is now one of the most common causes of food poisoning in Nigeria. It liberates lethal phosphine gas when it comes in contact either with atmospheric moisture or with hydrochloric acid in the stomach.

Solution: Eat beans with Weevils.

4.) Chicken from China preserved using embalming substance. The same used to embalm dead bodies in Nigeria. This is cancer causing substance that will kill you slowing. How else do you think chicken gets to Nigeria from China without proper cooling system.

Solution: Eat only local chicken. don't buy frozen chicken. if you can't see it running around don't buy it.

The farmers don't want to kill people, but they are uneducated and don't know what they are doing and besides, they don't have tools to deal with the challenges they have.

This is why the European Union, United States don't want to have the Beans,Cocoa, Plantain and Pineapples from Nigeria. It has nothing to do with racism or because they are evil white people. They have warned Nigeria several times to clean up her food.

But we no dey hear word.

https://misspetitenaijablog.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/04/Command-nabs-five-currency-hawkers-in-Ogun-600x400.jpg
The police identified the suspects as Toyin Alegbe, Kehinde Akinbode, Shoneye Latifat, Kehinde Olanrewaju and Iyanuoluwa Shokunbi.

A police report indicated that the women were arrested in the Ijebu Ode, Sagamu, and Abeokuta areas of Ogun State during sting operations jointly carried out by operatives of the command and officials of the Central Bank of Nigeria on Thursday, April 12, and Friday, April 13, 2018.

The state Police Public Relations Officer, Abimbola Oyeyemi, said the operations were in line with the provisions of Section 21(1) of the CBN Act 2007, which made hawking, selling and abuse of the naira a punishable offence.

He said, “Various denominations of naira notes totalling N1,560,000 were recovered from the suspects who were publicly exhibiting their illicit trade.”

Meanwhile, the state Commissioner of Police, Ahmed Iliyasu, has directed the Deputy Commissioner of Police in charge of the State Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department, Aminu Alhassan, to commence a full scale investigation into the activities of the currency hawkers.

The suspects, he said, would be charged to court at the end of investigation.

Iliyasu also warned members of the public to desist from any act capable of soiling or destroying the naira, “which is one of the symbols of our national identity.”

Forgotten, uncommon and misunderstood employment is multilevel network marketing.

scholarsarena:
10 Ways to Reduce Unemployment in Nigeria. Unemployment is a huge problem all over the world, but it is worse in Nigeria with a very large youth population. The problem is a proof that the economic policies have not been successful.

This article will give you 10 ways to reduce unemployment in Nigeria.

The ideas are not new and they will show how government and the private sector can jointly bring down unemployment. It is my hope that you will be motivated to become a part of the solution.

Let us explore the subject a bit more and gain fresh understanding, about how Nigeria can permanently get rid of this problem.

What is unemployment?
Unemployment is lack of job for citizens, who are qualified and willing to work, but are unable to get work because there are no jobs.
Types of Unemployment

The following are types of unemployment. They are frictional, seasonal, structural, and cyclical.

Frictional unemployment occurs if there is supply and demand mismatch. It is the waiting time between seeking and finding a job.

Seasonal unemployment refers to periods firms have few jobs to offer, due to a slow down of the economy or season.

Structural unemployment takes place when traits and location disqualifies applicants and if there are no qualified applicants to fill vacant posts.

Cyclical unemployment refers to periods when firms are not hiring, due to recurring economic downturn.

What are the Causes of Unemployment?

Here are a few causes of unemployment for your perusal.
1. Bad leadership

Visionless leaders in government, who are unable to see and plan for the future of citizens, create unproductive nations that cannot employ its people.

2. Outdated Academic Curriculum

Universities produce unemployable graduates due to outdated academic curriculums.

3. Lack of Plan by University Authorities

Universities admit more students than they can handle and send poorly trained graduates into the labor market without marketable skills.

4. Overpopulation

Migration to cities people believe they can get employment to the disadvantage of other cities, which have vacant positions but nobody to fill them.

5. Un-attractiveness of Farming

Society relegates farmers to the background and rates them as failures. This makes people run to the cities, to struggle for nonexistent white-collar jobs in overpopulated cities.

6. Craze for White-Collar Jobs

People wishing to get an office job than do any other work; make them to seek for employment that may not exist.

7. Rural Urban Migration

Young adults seeking employment and a better life, migrate to places they hope to get it. This causes over population in the cities they migrate to triggering unemployment, lack of accommodation and other social issues.

8. Industries Performing at Low Installed Capacity

When there is economic downturn companies produce less, and as customer purchasing power weakens, this leads to temporary embargo on employment.

9. Foreign Exchange scarcity

Scarcity of foreign exchange to import raw materials, make industries to operate at low capacity, which leads to sack of some staff.

10. Economic Slow Down

Recession in the economy will cause companies to sack some of their workers.

We have seen the types and the causes of unemployment. Let us see the ways to reduce it.

Here we go …

10 Ways to Reduce Unemployment in nigeria

Here are ten ways for reducing unemployment in Nigeria.

1. Fiscal Policy of Government

Economic plan of any government depends on revenue and expenditure.

Fiscal policy shows how government spends the budget and collects revenues to run the country.

It collects revenue such as corporate and income tax, sales tax, custom duties and tariffs and spends it on repairs of roads and salary.

A Fiscal policy is either expansionary or contractionary, but we are focusing on the former.

Expansionary fiscal policy occurs when government reduces tax and spends more money to make the economy grow.

Because of this growth in the economy, individuals and firms have more money to spend, which raises output. This increase in production adds to growth and lowers unemployment in the economy.

2. Central Bank and Nigeria Monetary Policy

Monetary policy refers to money supply, interest rates, credit in the economy, and rules guiding the financial sector issued by the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) on behalf of the government.

Every year CBN makes rules for easy operation of the financial sector. It manages money supply by:

the lending rates going up
the lending rates going down
lending more
lending less

Lending rate affects individuals who borrow from banks to pay for their personal needs and firms who borrow from banks to grow their businesses.

Capital is crucial for any business to survive so companies must borrow at sensible interest rates to make profit.

Monetary policy makes it easy for companies to plan the time to borrow from their banks and do so when interest rates are low.

Getting a loan enlarges their business, which increases output and profit, and helps these companies create more jobs.

3. Government Spending

Due to limited resources and competing needs, it is difficult to get required funds from Government to fix infrastructures that need urgent repairs.

However, if government spends money to repair roads, purchase hospital equipment, and fix public schools, its effect on the economy is visible.

For example to repair any road, government must hire contractors who will employ people to work on the project sites.

The effect, repairing a road, will have on employment is that many laborers will get a job.

The second is that the job increases hired workers purchasing power.

The third is that people will patronize any support businesses, set up near any of the projects sites.

4. Agric Sector Reform

Agriculture is the second largest employer of labor in Nigeria. The agro allied value chain can become the hub for creating more jobs for Nigerians.

Let us use a recent case to support this claim. For example, in December 2016, Lagos state government sold Lake Rice to Lagos residents.

This happened due to a deal between Kebbi and Lagos State for the production of Lake Rice brand, and this alliance created many jobs.

Imagine that all states in the country copy this example, and produce one agric commodity; this would not only reduce unemployment but feed the country as well.

5. Government Intervention in Micro Lending

The government can disburse money to micro finance banks for lending to market women, petty traders, and artisans to stimulate economic growth.

How it will work is that the bank will ask these people to form corporative societies, to enable members get small loans to expand their businesses.

The corporative societies will act as a guarantor for members to ensure borrowers repay the loans.

This plan can help many poor Nigerians become self-reliant and as their business grows; they will create jobs as one of the 10 Ways to Reduce Unemployment in nigeria.

6. Getting Professional Education

Education sets people free from poverty. Educated people, especially professionals are assets to the nation.

For example, a lawyer could specialize in corporate or marine law. These professionals may work in public service or set up their own practice and employ individuals to work for them.

Let us encourage professionalism so they can become employers as one of the 10 Ways to Reduce Unemployment in nigeria.

7. Finishing School

Government has failed to fund the education sector, which have led universities to turn out half-baked graduates with little chance to secure employment.

Thankfully, grooming schools have come to the rescue to retrain and make these graduates valuable and employable.

8. Changing University Curriculum

You can change university curriculum to introduce subjects to train undergraduates for skills that are lacking, but essential for the labor market of today.

The present limited curriculum must change to add subjects such as cybernetics and robotics, computer animation, web courses, data capture, and other technology courses.

If we implement this change, graduates will become qualified for positions in the current labor market and reduce unemployment in Nigeria.

9. Training Entrepreneurs

Government can start a program to train entrepreneurs instead of allowing unemployed graduates to search for jobs that are not there.

For example, the National Youths Service Corp program (NYSC) could become a one-year entrepreneurial training program for all graduates who will pass out to create jobs.

In addition, you can set up an internet business by becoming a blogger, website designer, and copywriter, to reduce unemployment in Nigeria.

10. Setting Up Customer Service Centers

You can set up customer service business, to serve the global community.

All that is required is for employees to accept excellence as a personal value and be able to speak English without any accent, to be able to work for firms abroad.

A customer service center, which can employ large numbers of people, is a doable business that can reduce unemployment.

In Conclusion:

Unemployment is a ticking time bomb, which we must not allow to explode on our faces.

Let us all join hands to provide jobs for unemployed people, mostly made up of youths if we all wish to sleep at night with our eyes closed

I AGREE WITH YOU.

BUT WHAT YOU REFER TO IS NOT THE AUTHENTIC NEW TESTAMENT CHRISTIANITY THAT JESUS ESTABLISHED. THIS WAS NOT AND HAS NEVER AND WILL NEVER BE RELIGION.

SATAN BROUGHT SIN AND CREATED ALL RELIGIONS INCLUDING THE SO CALLED CHRISTIAN RELIGION.

HE BROUGHT RELIGION TO DECEIVE HUMANITY THAT IT IS THE SOLUTION TO THE SIN PROBLEM. CHRISTIAN RELIGION IS A MISREPRESENTATION OF CHRIST'S CHURCH.

AUTHENTIC CHRISTIANITY IS THE 'NARROW WAY'. ALL RELIGIONS INCLUDING 'CHRISTIAN' RELIGION ARE THE 'BROAD WAY'.

Kingsley10000:
China is currently the world's leading economic power, in
China there is Zero Church!
Finland has the most stable economy in the world today.
There are less than twenty churches in Finland!
Switzerland has the second most stable economy in the
world. Switzerland has fewer than thirty churches!
Denmark is the third most stable economy in the world,
there are about 23 churches in Denmark.
These countries are considered to have the highest number
of atheists, but they are blessed!
Come to Nigeria, there are more than 70,000 churches.
+25 000 churches in Lagos.
+2 500 churches in Oyo
+30000 churches in the south east
In Africa, we have more churches than schools and
hospitals combined!
More pastors than doctors.
Everyone is born again!o
Everyone is covered with the blood of Jesus!
Jesus even became the husband of all single women
(according to them) in revival churches!
Everyone is filled with the Holy Spirit!
However, none of these claims reflect the moral elevation
that is hoped for in a society.
We are among the laziest, the most deceiving, the most
corrupt, the most hypocritical, the most hateful on the planet
today, with all our Jesus and the Holy Spirit!
Our people need to distinguish between religion and
stupidity or between spirituality and tradition!.
Wake up!!!
religion is the modern day slavery holding Africans down...
