chibenn:
there is one woman , a business partner whom I always buy goods together in Onitsha market .
but I have don't to her things he will never forgive me if she know ,
although she didn't know I was the one who hacked her goods then,
but now I an burn again , but when ever I see this woman my mind run over that which I have don't to her,
but I am afraid to go for a restitution,

so , is the restitution really necessary for my repentance?
RESTITUTE IF POSSIBLE AND UNDER THE LEADING OF THE HOLY SPIRIT NOT ON SENTIMENTS OR GUILTY FEELINGS.

Joavid:
1. In reality, western medicines has done a lot of good, especially to us Africans but it's not enough to totally discard our traditional medicine.

2. Part of my aim for this thread is to highlight how our pharmacists and pharmacologists are being useless as well as the university that produces them.

3. I read an article about the guy that invented alabukun, that pain killer, yea, y'all know it. it's made from herb extracts and it works. So, my rants below is partly as a result of that article and ofcourse the recession.

If there was something I never took as a child, it was the white man's medicine.
I remember following my mum to an old woman's little wooden shop to get some herbs and barks when anyone of us got sick. After my mum would list out the symptoms to her, the old woman would smile and gather some herbs, or seeds, barks, hand it over to my mum with some instructions on how to brew it and the dosage. My mum would do as instructed and within a few days, the sickness is gone. She always had a tomtom handy to gift me with whenever I finished my dosage.
The old woman always complained about not having anyone committed who would learn from her.

What we see around today that is been paraded as herbal medicine is a mediocre to what it really is.(I mean, those bottled herbal gin) So it's important everyone understands that when we make reference to herbal medicines we are not talking about the bottled 'bitters' mixed with alcohol and packed in unappealing bottles. We are not talking about the ones hawked at the bus stops in various colours in transparent plastic bottles.
We are talking about the ones our ancestors had and passed on to our parents.

Why then have we dumped it totally for a white man's medicine? That's treating your diabetes problem and probably breeding the ground for another bigger disease?

Why do we import malaria medicines from India when we have thousands of pharmacy/pharmacology graduates in the country who can learn from this native herbs, modernise it and do what they were trained to do?

And errm, the old woman I mentioned earlier is dead, and her vast knowledge of herbs, died with her.

#rantover!
No, Traditional Herbal Medicine is not dead. There are several educated and professional herbalists trained in Nigeria and abroad who work in Nigeria.

Ife has a BSc program in herbal medicine and many pharmacy departments in Nigerian universities have done and are doing lots of work in this direction. So are some private companies and charities. The WHO has programmes and projects. for traditional medicine. Some State Ministries of Health have Boards of Traditional Medicine in the country.

The problem is government's lack of seriousness and the resistance of for profit Big Pharma.

Yeah Jesus said so but not in the sense of being in a Church building together but in the world at large is what He meant by that.

The idea of having a building called Church where a man or selected group of men lord it over their supposedly brethren isn't what Jesus instructed nor what the Apostles intended in the Acts of Apostle where they gather together to share or contribute to meet each other's needs.
I agree with you. But even in the local church or group you have the mix.

Men by the deception of the god of this world have turned Christianity into a religion and church into something else: materialistic, occultic, entertainment centre and political platform.

They are the once mocking themselves and those that follow them because the real Church of Christ resides in the heart and mind of the true believer far away and impossible to be mocked by nonbelievers except by the believer himself who has tasted of the goodness of God in his/her life and doesn't show it or denys it by his/her actions.

Kemi Olunloyo has expressed her disregard for the bible in a fresh social media message to her thousands of followers. She took her time to explain her stand, as she claims the bible is riddled with 'fake' stories.

She also claimed Christmas is not associated with being a Christian as its being purported all over the world. Miss Olunloyo has a histroy of provoking people on social media with questionable posts for the purpose of staying relevant.

Read her views on the bible below titled "Why I Don't Believe in the Bible":

"Many of u fans all over social are asking me how I knew about Jesus and God if not the bible. Stupid dumbass question.

The answer is FROM MY UGLY SUNDAY SCHOOL TEACHER who told us stories. I don't believe or read the bible. I will never touch it again. It is full of fake stories. God NEVER ENDORSED the bible! He asked us to worship him directly not thru a book or pastor. If more people were spiritual like me rather than being religious, this will be a better world.

I became a born again spiritual being Sunday December 25th 2011 and now this Sunday December 25th 2016 #Kesus is back. Remember Kesus, my spiritual name. I don't do church, don't respect pastors or read the bible. So many versions of it too. That King James (Lebron) version is the FAKEST!

The real King in the biblical days was not even A CHRISTIAN and his royal biblicalness had no business writing a BIBLE. Christianity has nothing to do with Christmas! Jesus was not even born December 25th either. Lies everywhere. 400 ppl got blocked off my verified Facebook page's 77,000 and I'm ready to block another 400 who insult me.

There is an Igbo guy in my inbox now who says he wants to marry me and get rid of my bachelorette reality show, good looking and all and I must "give my life to Jesus" begging me. He says if I do he will give me $100K aka N48M. He's a company CEO. You can't even "buy" me with these Jesus freak lines. I already love Jesus and God and that's why my Christmas name is #KESUS.

Absolutely no bibles, pastors or church. Religion is the biggest lie to mankind. I see ppl heading to #Mecca to stone the devil. The devil is already in ur home, office, everywhere and many DIE in stampedes there! I'm not religious, I'm spiritual.
STAY SPIRITUAL! I LOVE YOU ALL!! #MerryChristmas

Incoherent.

But she's right about Christmas and religion.

She can't be born again by Bible definition and still hold these conflicting views.

She's under the influence of another spirit not that of Christ, the Holy Spirit.

Authentic New Testament Christianity IS NOT a religion.

Christianity Etc › Re: Atheists Protected By New Law That Obama Signed by omojeesu(m): 11:44am On Dec 20, 2016
Immorttal:
For the first time, atheists and other nonreligious persons are explicitly named as a class protected by the law.

President Barack Obama has signed into law the Frank Wolf International Religious Freedom Act. The new law protects atheists, humanists, and other freethinkers around the world from religious persecution.

Congress passed the international religious freedom bill protecting atheists, humanists, and other non-theists last week with overwhelming bipartisan support, and Obama signed the legislation into law last Friday, Dec. 16.
The new law explicitly protects atheists, humanists, and other non-theists, and upgrades the 1998 International Religious Freedom Act. In particular, the new law states:

The freedom of thought, conscience, and religion is understood to protect theistic and non-theistic beliefs as well as the right not to profess or practice any religion

The Act also condemns “specific targeting of non-theists, humanists, and atheists because of their beliefs” and attempts to forcibly compel “non-believers or non-theists to recant their beliefs or to convert.”

Commenting on the new law, Caroline Mala Corbin, professor of law at the University of Miami, said:

The new law has some really interesting language in it. It takes an expansive view of religious liberty, saying freedom of religion is not just about the right to practice religion. It is also about the right to have your own views about religion including being agnostic and atheistic

Religious News Service reports Corbin also links the president’s signing of this act to another first:

President Obama was the first president to explicitly acknowledge nonbelievers in his inaugural address, so this seems to fit into his legacy vis-a-vis nonbelievers

The American Humanist Association is celebrating the new law. In a press release the group explains the importance of the new, updated legislation:

The persecution of openly humanist and atheist writers has become an area of increasing concern especially after the string of murders of secular bloggers and publishers by religious extremists in Bangladesh. The American Humanist Association, along with other international advocates for religious freedom, have also been critical of the flogging of secular writers in Saudi Arabia, as well as a Saudi law that equates atheism with terrorism

In a statement, Roy Speckhardt, executive director of the American Humanist Association, said:

The American Humanist Association is proud to see this historic legislation signed into law and looks forward to working with the US Department of State to ensure religious liberty for non-theists and religious minorities abroad. That non-theists are now recognized as a protected class is a significant step toward full acceptance and inclusion for non-religious individuals, who are still far too often stigmatized and persecuted around the world
