Consider that Jesus stated in Matthew chapter 24:29-31 that He would send His angels to gather His elects all over the world 'immediately AFTER the tribulation of those days'. Also in 2Thessalonians chapter 2: 1-3, Paul says this gathering (rapture) won't take place until 2 things happen first: falling away of people and the emergence of antichrist. |
We have been told that before the antichrist emerges on the world scene the rapture would take place. Is this really correct in the face of Biblical accounts in Daniel, the Gospels, Paul's letters and the Revelation? We must not be wrong on this matter because of associated serious implication: If indeed antichrist will deal with God's people and we are not ready to meet him because we've been told we won't meet him then many may fall away and take his 666 mark to their eternal doom. Please, let's consider this. The Great Tribulation - Resolving the Confusion a. Regarding ‘tribulation’: The word appears in the KJV 25 times: 4 times in the OT (Deuteronomy, Judges and twice in 1 Samuel). 21 times in the NT. The 4 times in the OT all referred to Israel. The NT books where found are: The Gospels: Matthew (3), Mark (1), John (1). Acts (1), Romans (4); 2Corinthians (2), Ephesians (1), 1Thessalonians (1), 2Thessalonians (2) and Revelations (5). Of the 21 times in the NT: it is associated with believers 19 times and only twice in reference to unbelievers / backsliders Two adjectives are associated with the word: b. ‘great’ 2 times i. Revelation 2:22: Behold, I will cast her into a bed, and them that commit adultery with her into great tribulation, except they repent of their deeds. ii. Revelation 7:14: And I said unto him, Sir, thou knowest. And he said to me, These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb. c. ‘much’ once i. Acts 14:22: Confirming the souls of the disciples, and exhorting them to continue in the faith, and that we must through much tribulation enter into the kingdom of God. The ‘tribulation’ verses 2. The way things are going it appears WW3 is imminent. With all the major powers at loggerhead notably USA vs Russia and China vs USA, China vs Japan, India vs Pakistan, the war in Syria and Iraq, the Israeli-Palestinian issue, etc, etc. and weapons of mass destruction abound. What's your take? Are we really at the brink of the next WW? What do you think will happen in Nigeria if WW3 starts since there will be total breakdown of international law and order? - ?? Secessionist movements - ?? Attempt at Islamic takeover - ?? Military coup. Or Will we be non-aligned? Be united as one nation? Or in fact seize the opportunity to build a virile nation that after the war we would have an advantage over nations that have wearied themselves by the war? |
None of the duo will do neither America nor the world good. Clinton more likely will win. She's probably destined to by the god of this world. She's the preferred choice of the Globalists of this world that Obama represents. They will have their way NOW, but God will have His way later. Jesus is Lord! |
Lacomus:There's nothing stoping WW3. It must happen for a New World Order to be established by Satan's ultimate ManOfWar, the Beast of Biblical apocalypse. |
iLiquidator:Deception! Which Jesus? The Jesus of the Koran? Yes. The Jesus of the Bible? No. |
crosbreaka:Then they should just debate and leave all to the judgement day instead of killing themselves. |
rudepen:It is not a hard thing for me to seek forgiveness. But on which of the points listed should I ask for forgiveness? Please, let me no my sin(s) and provide appropriate bible verses. Thank you. |
FriendChoice:OK. HE LIED. BUT SEARCH YOUR CONSCIENCE. WILL YOU DO THE SAME? AND WILL YOU GIVE YOUR 6 YR OLD DAUGHTER TO BE ENGAGED THEN MARRIED AT 9 ? I NOW UNDERSTAND BETTER THE KIDNAP OF THE CHIBOKS GIRLS. ALL OF US WILL DIE ONE DAY. THEN WE WILL FINALLY KNOW THE TRUTH. |
victorvezx:1) This has nothing to do with God, Jesus or the Bible. 2) You don't abandon God because someone who says he's of God is fake. 3) How and when did you become a Christian? I did in the 1980s. Wrong ways people become 'Christian': 1) Born into a home where parents go to some church. So called Christian Home or Family. 2) By marriage. 3) By joining or becoming a member of a church. 4) Because you've been baptized. 5) You eat Lord's supper. You become a Christian by becoming a child of God, 'born of God' = born again. No child of God leaves God because of a fake prophet. |
Toks2008:WE WOULD BE NO BETTER NOR WORSE THAN ANIMALS OR EVEN NON-LIVING MATTER BUT FORTUNATELY THERE IS HEAVEN AND UNFORTUNATELY THERE IS HELL. WE CANT WISH OR IMAGINE EITHER AWAY. IT IS OF NO CONSEQUENCE. |
I'm afraid for her life. God help her. |
TheGoodJoe:YOU DON'T SEEM TO GET IT. NO ONE IS JUSTIFYING CORRUPTION. BUT THIS IS NOT DEMOCRACY NOR RULE OF LAW. THAT'S THE POINT HE IS MAKING. |
hahn:WHICH RELIGION IS YOURS? |
They may just be paid agents testing waters for nudism. |
Ruin the economy by corruption. Then turn round to use the corruption money to buy national assets. |
obowunmi:Pastors, true and false, remain mere men. Until you become a child of God who knows the God he serves the problem will continue. |
TheSixthSense:Con artist? I don't know. I leave that to his conscience and to God. In heaven on that great day there will be surprises. The first may be the last and the last may be the first. God help us all who say we are His children and servants. |
7lives:1) Abraham did not have a religion. He had a relationship with God. 2) Jesus 'law' was love God, neighbor and enemy. 3) Anyone born of God, like you I believe and I. |
Mascotlawman:The constrictor was obeying nature and the law of the jungle. Humans are the ones to be careful. The swamps belong to animals as this and crocks. May people not use their money to create problems for themselves. It's ok to watch wildlife on TV. |
henrydadon:Correct. Religion is essentially a scam. It is exactly what has kept you away from God who created you and is still sustaining you though in your rebellion against Him. You won't be the first atheist not the last. Be sure, however, that God's loving hands remain stretched towards you. |
Guyman02:Right and Wrong. Unity, Yes, but not at the expense of the Truth? Not all that is church is Church of Jesus Christ and not all that say they are 'Christian' are Christians. You are not a Christian simply because you a member of a church or you belong to a family that has adopted a church. Going to a Church doesn't make any one a Christian. The devil goes to church too! If you are not born of God (i.e. born again) you are NOT and CAN NOT BE a Christian. A TERRIBLE TRUTH many who say they are Christian but are not born again hate to hear. Jesus DID NOT establish a religion, not even the CHRISTIAN RELIGION. He came to establish instead A RELATIONSHIP, or better still, to RE-ESTABLISH the intimate relationship that ADAM stupidly lost. Adam did not lose a religion. He lost for himself and us a family relationship with God, the Father. This Jesus came to re-establish! But again Satan came and twisted and perverted much of this truth to this day even among genuine children of God. Biblical New Testament Christianity IS NOT a religion. Thank God Murdock declined at the last minute because many children of God take him to be one of them. |

Are YOU a CHILD of God, Jehovah ![]() |
JMAN05:ARE YOU A CHILD OF GOD? ARE YOU ONE OF THE 144,000? |
gemale:BOTH OF YOU ARE RIGHT. JESUS HAD FOREKNOWLEDGE AND SPOKE WITHOUT EXPLAINING THE SCIENCE. THERE WAS NO WAY THEY COULD UNDERSTAND THAT - THAT UNBRIDLED HUMAN 'DEVELOPMENT' ACTIVITIES OF THE LAST 150 YEARS OR SO WOULD DISTURB EARTH'S DELICATE NATURAL PHYSICAL BALANCE AND RYTHM. CLEARLY, GOD DID NOT CAUSE THE TREMOR. IT IS A CAUSE AND EFFECT THING. |
salients:Matthew 24:7 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places. |
fxskye:Oh no! Another illogical response. I dont think you understand my post. Thanks. I'm done. |
True or not. God's will alone will prevail. |
nextprince:Compare your post with what God and Jesus said in the Bible: 1) Love your neighbour. 2) Love your enemies. 3) Pray for those that hate you and abuse you. 4) Dont revenge. Vengeance is mine. How many times have Christians in Nigeria and anywhere in the world attacked atheist who REGULARLY blaspheme Yahweh, Jesus and the Bible. You Muslims say our Bible is corrupted. Do we physically attack you. Check your conscience. |
fxskye:You Muslims and your logic! So, OFFICIAL DIPLOMATIC VISIT = CHRISTIAN CRUSADES by Nigerians in their own country? Na wah o! |
Reference:Correct, but this same Biblical principle has been exploited to promote money worship and materialism in the Church. Believers are warned not to be carried away by the deceitfulness of riches by Mammon. |
What illogicality! Many times I dont understand Muslim logic. So TBJ = The Sultan? Kerry's OFFICIAL visit = PERSONAL visits of fetish African leaders to a false prophet. These Religionists dont represent God. I wonder how much of CAN represents Jesus. |
