MORE UNIVERSITIES? I heard this morning that the Federal Government intends to establish new Universities in Nigeria. What bothers my mind is that the administrators of the existing universities have complained times without number, of inadequate funding. My question: Do we need the establishment of new universities or adequate funding of the existing ones and establishment of their satellite campuses in different parts of Nigeria? ~OMOKEMESI |
