Damage controller.

The demolition was targatted at the Igbos who constitute the large majority of traders in this computer village. Who be Powa? An unseen group through which Tinubu does his vengeance, this time, in Computer Village.

lol anything you say bro. God is your strength.

Who owns the police I mean who pays them right now? it is our dear president Bola Ahmed Tinubu links with the state governor to demolish powa and mega city they said "he who pays the Piper calls the tune." You can not tell me that Lagos state governor is not included in the plan demolition.

If the state really wants to target the igbos. There are lots of complex owned by the igbos that they would have demolished. Like Dallas building or even the sot one. And some of the complex on Ola Ayeni street.

The powa building is not that big and there are lots of yorubas there. Their chairman is even Yoruba. Channels tv interviewed him some days back after the court ruled against them.

My office is close to the building and I know what I’m talking about. They’ve evicted them since. They are not even paying rent. All they needed to do is get another shop.

shut up and leave all these propaganda used to cover up the well planned and systematic wickedness and atrocities against Igbos, just because dem no vote their God jagaban

It’s just 1 single building. My office is at no 6 on that same street. They’ve been on this for a while. People have been calling to confirm if they demolish computer village.

It’s not targeted at any tribe. Channels tv came there about a week ago before the demolition. The spoke with the chairman of the tenants association. He’s a Yoruba man. I know lots of yorubas in that same building. The video is on their instagram page. And powa have been dragging with them for a while now. They didn’t even take rent from them.

This is not about election or anything. I’ve also had to move my office once because our old landlord sold his building. I’m surprised lots of people were calling me yesterday and asking if they demolished computer village. If you want I can even upload some chats I had With people chatting me to confirm. I know you are pissed and all. But always get your facts rights bro.

Stop talking rubbish. You want people to pay for darkness. We are the ones that wired our communities. We bought Transformers, high tension wires, poles with our hard earned money.
After all these they can not give people light. Then you now expect people to pay for service not rendered.

This is why there are prepaid meters. You don’t have to pay for what you didn’t consume. People have been buying transformers since time immemorial all over Nigeria. If you have prepaid meter. You only pay for what you consume.

So, after much market research and advise I got from this thread https://www.nairaland.com/7161605/good-people-buy-tokunbo-e250, I finally decided to 'risk' it and purchase the vehicle.

I paid for it 1.4m, gave the ford mechanic 8k to service it (Nozzle and oil change), and also bought gear oil and engine oil. Then I gave it a small body wash.

In all, I spent about 1,430,000. Now vehicle speeds like mad, and is a Rear wheel drive.

So all I need to do is panel beater work. I'm budgeting like 200k for it.

So all in all, this vehicle at 1,630,000 is an excellent buy.

Or what do you think

Bro I have 2 E350 and 1 Renault. If you are in Lagos and interested I can introduce you to my line of business. We move goods from companies in sango otta to every part of Naija. I can hook you up.

I think only Abeokuta and the ijebus have been enjoying when it comes to governance in Ogun state. For years winners chapel has been responsible for fixing Sango- Idiroko road. The road is in total shambles now. I was there on Saturday.
Sango - Abeokuta express road has been bad since 1999. Now it’s hell. That road has made front page here more than 10 times. Nothing is working in Ogun state. The state is too dirty and the roads are bad. I’ve been trying to reach our senators. I saw their numbers on this forum. But it’s not going through. mambilla power project started In 1982. I know you want to blame the delay on PDP as if Nigeria started existing in 1999.

No I don’t want to blame pdp. I want to blame the past presidents that didn’t do anything about a contract awarded 16 years ago. Obj awarded the contract. And his 2 successor couldn’t do nothing about it. For a reason we don’t know. We all know the project will improve the power problem we are facing. But for one problem or the other, nothing was done till it was awarded to the Chinese. Now the company is now crying fowl.

See them now again reneging on already established contract agreement they met or signed again with the company but later will start looking for who to blame.

Meanwhile, how on earth does Abba Kyari single handedly re-assigned the same contract to 3 other companies without FEC authorization or informing the primary contractor?

Since 2003? Why won’t they award it to other companies. 16 good years and little or nothing was done till it was awarded to another company. I don’t know about you. But that is what I’d have done if I was the commander in chief.

niaralandtopuser:

you should wait to know what lead to the delay before typing this nonsense.
what if the delay was FG fault?

What could the delay be? 3 different presidents couldn’t do anything till Buhari decided to award it to the Chinese. If the past presidents abs and the company are all serious about the project it should have been completed in the last decade then. They are all mad. Fine kill them there.

Blood of Buhari o...so you are saying wikipedia is fake and full of lies?Wikipedia that is the number 1 source of getting facts and figures worldwide?Wikipedia is fake, but you are giving me a link to go read..A link that was written by Yakubu Aliyu a known Buharist and member of the inner think tank of oshimole

Below are the words and the link of Honourable David Setonji,an engineer,an APC member and a member of the Lagos state house of assembly in tribune newspaper telling you how Lagosians had to pay for the cancellation due to the ineppitude of Buhari

"“The population of the state is over 20 million and we don’t have the commensurate transportation system.

“During the tenure of Alhaji Lateef Kayode Jakande as the governor of the state in the second republic, there were plans for a metroline project and the state had an agreement with a French company on this with an advanced payment.

“Unfortunately for us, in December 1983, the military government took over and truncated the project. I appeal to President Muhammadu Buhari, who was in-charge then, to help revive the project like the recently launched rail line from Abuja to Kaduna,” he said.

The trained engineer added that the transportation burden in the state was too much for the state government to bear.

He explained that the agreement then was that if there was a breach of the contract by the state government, they would lose the deposit and still pay damages to the company.

“The money was much then, but I cannot remember the exact amount. We are appealing to the Federal Government to assist us in reviving the project or start another one.

“I am a civil engineer by profession and I know there is no problem without solution. We know that things have skyrocketed, but if the Federal Government is ready, they would do it.

https://tribuneonlineng.com/13809/

P.S..Mr honourable sef knew the money was much then so tey he could not even mention it...Nonesense and Iberism.. grin

Wikipedia?? That Wikipedia article was also written by one Nigerian and he didn’t back up his claims with one single fact. And Wikipedia defined itself as an online encyclopedia created and edited by online volunteers. So if I decided to write up some junks and host on Wikipedia. Does that make it correct? Different people can edit an article, add to or remove from it. So don’t tell me to believe that wiki nonsense article.

And the tribune article you quoted said they’ll lose the deposit if they backed out. And jakande said the CBN did not release the money to them. No one can proof anywhere if Lagos state paid any $78m except for one Wikipedia article. Now someone said they’ll lose the deposit that buhari didn’t allow the cbn to release. The project was canceled. Because the government felt it’ll put more financial burden on nigeria. But people are playing too much politics with it. There’s are tons of projects nationwide that billions has been spent on and abandoned.

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lagos_Rail_Mass_Transit

No wonder you are a buharist..Yes Lagos borrowed money like all of them..The terms of the loan was for the project..Buhari came in and claimed one thing one thing..He cancelled it and the cancellation according to the terms of the loan cost Lagos $70million..Not even Lagos alone but the whole of Nigeria cos the loan was among the $30billon loan written off for us by the Paris club due to the ingenuity of Obasanjo and Okonjo Iweala..These are facts and not propaganda.

So when you get into the perennial lagos traffic that cuts shorts the life span of most lagosians just know that it was caused by your saint Buhari president.

That Wikipedia link you posted is inaccurate. And there’s nothing to back up the claim that the cancellation cost Lagos money. The loan is the reason the project was canceled in the first place. Back in 2015. I spent hours reading about this project. There’s even an interview from jakande himself. Shagari was the one that sabotaged the project because jakande was an opposition and he didn’t congratulate shagari when he was elected. Buhari has to cancel it because the federal government can not stand as a guarantor for Lagos state government to get the loan. You can read more about it here.

https://newsdiaryonline.com/setting-record-straight-buhari-lagos-metro-line-project/

I can give you more links from different sources if you need. Forget about being a buharist or not. Always get your facts right. It’s easy Na. I need a better proof than that Wikipedia link you posted up there.
