In Kano there were many dangerous killers (yan daba), they kill without second thought but since the second coming of Kwankwaso those ppl went to extinction; h E rebranded them, empowered them and put many back to Universities. Those ppl dnt mind who u are, always high on drugs, they will jst go to non-indigenes base area and start attacking but from 2011 to date have u heard any nonsense in Kano? North won't go back to the barbarism ur ppl has taken now.
That madness is not limited to Kano. It’s in every state of the nation. When you talk about kano, the westerners will remind you about Ibadan while Abia can also say a lot about Aba boys. So, did you get my point?

Devaluation of currency means more local production and diversification of local economy and not dependant on foriegn goods

Akpu people can't understand because everything to them is China made
Your economics teacher needs to be flog seriously. It favors China because they export most of their goods while we import most of our daily needs. Consult your textbooks for more explanation.

You are right. She’d be called “Iyawo wa” by the family members instead of Bunmi.

This story hit home and i can relate so i shed a tear. God dey, the first rule in life is trust NO ONE. you came alone and you will depart alone.

You might want to listen to BLESSED (schoolboy Q ft Kendrick Lamar) while reading while you light up a blunt, it'd help you a lot

Know this and know peace.

you can hit the ground running with a few tips below I you don't have any profitable venture at the monent, this..can be applied to almost anything if you think critically.

imma keep it real with you like my brother from another mother, The educational system in Nigeria has been watered down a great deal but there are still opportunities for grassroot hustlers, best believe that.

All you need now is a hustler's ambition / mindset, you need to grind like one who has no mother or father, its cold out there.

In Nigeria, there are two classes of people (Living things and non living things)...you need to be amongst the living and stop whinning and complaining about this and that, nobody has it easy. If everyone comes to Nairaland beer parlor with his or her story, you go thank God for your life.

Bum imma share some gems with you real quick and if you are street wise, you will take action immediately.

If you must make it in Nigeria, you must think like an OUTLAW. push your fine boy and degree aside, roll up your sleeves and hit the ground running.

however, If you are techy (digital marketing, ecommerce, mini importation)

If you are dead broke don't venture into programming, you cannot effectively learn programming on an empty stomach with lack of data

If you are hands on Plumbing, woodwork, electrical, interior design solar design and installation, phone and laptop repair

Let me give you a brotherly advice, and I hope you work on it...
First of all I counsel people and I have done that on nairaland for a while... I have met great and good guys...
I dropped a story about my experience teaching in two schools as a corper and would not mind partnering with schools in abuja, but some accused me of looking for teaching job... Never ever mind what people say...
Back to the matter...
As a graduate, teaching and earning 15k, e no bad... But once you have a good (android) phone, go to any car stand of your choice around your area... Listen well, any good car stand and ask to see the manager... Tell him you want to help him market his cars and get good buyers... 90% of car stand managers will sign u on... Tel him you will be paid a small commission after sales...
Pick up your phone, snap as many cars as your phone memory can take, open a dedicated twitter ac, IG ac, Facebook ac, WhatsApp ac, ac etc... Take out time to post this cars, make sure you have the actual prices of this cars... You can add as much as #250k on it... Bring down the negotiations to as low as making #50k if need be just so I can sell. Set your monthly target... I assure you, if you get I client in a month, u make around #100,000k once you start growing, you can get as much as 5-10 client from all over the country and that hits you over #1m for just helping others sell their cars, Note all you invested was your time, energy, phone and data... No big financial capital...
Do not restrict yourself to cars, go for industrial machines as well, caterpillars, mikano gens, any thing, then you look for those big companies that need them and try to call their attention to it or market it to them... You may not sell in 3 months but when you manage to get a client to buy just 1 caterpillars, my brother you will instantly forget that u suffered before...
A friend of mine was marketing a silo for a local wielder, he received a call all the way from kebbi state, the purchase was made in Ilorin, he made #1.8 mil from buyers and #400k from seller... He still got a referral from that deal. Wake up bro...
Within a month or two, come and pay (tite).
I drive uber/bolt in abuja, market cars, sell commodities such as beans, maize, wheat,
ginger, onions, name it... In bags and tonnes
And I make nothing less than half a mil monthly...We all blessed my nigga !

Reach me privately if you are interested in gadget importation and sales from US.

OIC that include Saudi, UAE, Kuwait, Bahrain and other Suni countries can/will do nothing but to bark like dogs they are. They'll rather expect Hisbullah(A Shia group) they hate so much to act on their behalf. Jobs/VacanciesRe: Let's Talk About Joining Confraternity Before Getting A Job by omosuper(m): 1:04pm On May 07, 2021
Frat is very common in every community of this Nigeria. The ones in the south south are well pronounced because they don't really carry religions for head like Yoruba, Igbo and Hausa thus less pretence from that side. You go fear the kind frat wey dey north, west and the Eastern part of the country. There's this case of a Hausa lady from one of the private schools in Kwara state whose code of dressing is red. Cloth, appliances, bed, rug and everything in her room is red. She'd initiated a lot of students. When the news got to the school authority and they put a call through to her parents, her mother who's the wife of a serving senator told them point blank that it's a family stuff and if they can't cope that the school should send her back home. It's a long story sha. Frat is common amongst pastors and alfas self. If you should take a glance at the Ogboni's hand book, you go shock no be small.
FamilyRe: Help! I Want To Leave My Wife by omosuper(m): 9:02pm On May 01, 2021
OfeAchi:
BACKGROUND:

I had a decent job before I met her and I was responsible for all the decisions I took, which mostly led to favourable outcomes.
However when I met her and began a relationship, I wasn't having the freedom I needed. Any decision I wanted to take without her authorization always ended badly. For example there was a period I wanted to jointly rent an apartment with a male friend of mine. She strongly opposed this but I still went ahead to pay rent. Unfortunately for me, within four months my friend had some issues with landlord and we were both evicted from the apartment. (although I got compensated)

Another instance was when I got paid some bonuses from company and decided to invest in some crypto projects during their ICOs (in 2017). I did some market analysis of these crypto projects before my decision to invest, only for her to advice me against it. She said we should instead, use the money to start farming. I didn't listen to her and went ahead to invest. THE RESULT: the investment that was supposed to take me to the moon now became more worthless than tissue paper! I shed tears because of this.

I now decided to get rid of her, but all plans of mine proved abortive. The more I tried to get her out of my life, the more we were brought together. Can you believe that the day I finally proposed to her was the very same day I tried to make out with an old girlfriend?

A friend of mine went to consult an ifa priest, who told him that my fiance has a cloud of good fortunes around her. But I don't believe in those spiritual mumbo-jumbos! I was determined to leave her. This made me begin applying for jobs in other states and towns, but nothing came forth. I even went for interview/test but didn't scale through. Some weeks later, she told me that she wasn't in support of me getting job in another town (she says she was scared of losing me).

Did you know? the time I decided to remove the thoughts of leaving her from mind and fully accept her into my life, was the time that I finally got a better job in another city!

MARRIAGE
We got married in 2019 and I was of the mindset that since she may be an ogbanje, therefore things would work in my favour and I would become a millionaire very quickly, but that's not the case.

Since marriage, any decision I take without her approval always leads to disaster!
I wanted to invest in a partnership deal and told her about it but she disapproved and said I should save the money instead. I went ahead to invest and I lost 400k! cry cry Same for other decisions in the house, the outcome was always negative whenever I don't heed her advice.

I hate all this! I'm a full grown man. Why should my life be based on the decisions of a woman? I feel like I'm no longer in control of my life.
I'm about to take a car loan from my company in order to escape this constant public commute and trekking but she has vehemently disapproved, that I should instead save for another year or two before buying car. But I still won't listen to her! If the loan ends in a disaster, I have decided that I would abandon this marriage and relocate to another country. A country where voodoo and religious mumbo-jumbo do not exist, so that I can be in full control of my life!

.......PS: we have a year old baby girl. Maybe I could be sending monthly upkeep from this new country I intend to relocate to.

Able readers, is my final decision a good one?
If you're a religious type, don't ever introduce this lady to your alfa/pastor/ifa priest. Otherwise, she's gone for good. These type of ladies are the pillars behind most daddy G.O and Missioners. You're also high in the spiritual realm(you might not discover yourself though) that's why you're attracted to her. You both need each other bro. Treat her well oooo

You publish the documented evidence you have .. you also have the fundamental rights to support any political party you like.... That aside

North has 19 states Governors 1 FCT Minister, 60 Senators

South has 17 state Governors , 51 Senators, out of the 51 Senators from the south 18 from the West and 15 from the East don't ever vote along same interest

So if majority always carries the votes, I strongly think even if North doesn't own Nigeria, they have a comfortable Shares in authority

.
Your 19 northern states include today's Kwara, Kogi, Plateau, Taraba and Benue right? Everyone's eyes don clear faa.

I have been waiting and searching for this useless and foolish statement to come from a fool.

I want to ask a question, when the schools were taken over by the government, did they pay the missionaries that built the schools for the building and the amount invested in those schools and on students before the takeover ?
The Schools remain missionary schools.

We have many great Universities that belong to Churches presently with few sub standard Universities that belong to other groups. I know many people will be happy today if Universities like Covenant, Landmark, Redeemers, Babcock and others too numerous to name here are taken over by the government. Tomorrow, they will now call them government universities where hijab should be worn. Is that possible ? No.

Let us be reasonable. Let us be logical.
You’re too aggressive Mr man. Did the missionaries pay a dime to the communities they built the schools on if we’re to agree with your points? Preach love and tolerance. You hear me so?

Why can't Muslims contribute money to build their own schools?...
Why would one of the two largest religions in Nigeria want to be benefitting off others as though it was a minority group... If islam was a minority group capable of being oppressed, I would have asked that the church let this matter rest.
It's like saying a staff of dangote cement has the right to be wearing Bua cement uniform inside dangote property.

Imagine a school like Landmark university in Kwara - just look at that beautiful school, fantastic road network and buildings with consistent electricity and zero input from govt. All built with over 15 billion naira solely from Christian people.

Instead of the Muslims to start funding theirs to match at par with Landmark, they won't.

Example, Christians are on number 40th university since privatization in 1999, Muslims are on number 5 since God knows when. Later they would be looking for govt to take over All those schools and want to wear hijab there. Knowing fully well Christians own 95% of religious founded schools.

Stop islamizing our church schools or public schools (which are meant to be secular).
If you want to challenge Christianity then collect license like everyone else.. Stop using government and sham judgements as a tool to compete. Fin.
Dangote’s staff might not be allowed to wear BUA vest in Dangote’s factory but NNPC staff can wear Conoil vest, Total vest, Oando vest ant etc. I hope you get the scope right?
