Romance › Re: Do You Believe In Luck? Destiny? Why? by Omotaday(m): 3:27pm On Nov 07, 2019 |
I once argued this with a friend when i was still in school. I believed there is nothing called “luck”, i believed “luck” is a result of some certain actions and attempts, no matter how little the attempt or action is. I believed something triggers what they call “luck”, it don’t just find you. Well, my believe changed. I believe there is luck, but personally, i don’t put my hope in luck. About Destiny, my IRK teacher once told us “Destiny can change, through prayers”, so i asked, “if it can change, why is it Destiny then?” However, i believe i’m destined for great |

Mimirabelle4: Which King of boys? The one I watched or another? If you are to be very honest that movie was horribly directed. Some scenes were not detailed & not to forget it was averagely financed to my taste. King of boys, Lionheart, Chief Daddy are all average movies. Try “October 1st”. That is my best movies in recent years. |

femi4: They lack the basics ...everything is not dribble
The best 4 sets at this level for Nigeria remains 2015, 2013, 1993 and 2007 God bless you. The guys are very good individually. Imagine, if they have a coach like the Angola coach, i don't think any team would be able to stop them. Those Angola boys were playing like Champions league team, i watched their match from start to finish, with joy. The Eaglet coach needs to go learn more about technicality, not just picking boys on the field to play whatever they like and just score. They should not destory these talented boys career with "wuruwuru to the answer" style of football. |

I have watched few matches from this tournament. Watching Eaglets play like this is a big dissapointment. I am not talking about the cheap goals they scored. Even Tajikistan, Cameron style of play is by far superior to us.
Everything Nigeria no dey ever dey organized. Na rough rough.
Tijani is a star in making, seems he is the only one that did training. |

Iran women are beautiful. I swear.
I heard they only gave them 4% of the stand, and barred men from watching with them. Iran has not fully complied with the Fifa order. Fifa should look into it asap. These beautiful ladies are a plus to the game.

tiwiex: I like the question he posed. And it's actually worth discussing.
I think he refers to Nigerians who have left the country and have excelled in various fields. Yes, Nigerians are smart. The question is which side of the country produces most of these great stories? I leave you to answer.
The answer tells you which Nigerians are in quest of progress, knowledge and development.
Unfortunately we run a system that will never be productive or competitive. I described it recently as a communist government structure allowing some level of capitalism across board. Unfortunately, government provides public goods and since they seem to be communist in their administrative composition, nothing gets done. The regions have been stifled from growing at their own pace.
I hear there are plans to integrate the Almajiri system into our educational system. What does that even mean? We operate the system like a cook trying to prepare vegetarian meal and non-vegetarian meal inside one pot. Is that even possible?
Teaser: what's the opposite of vegetarian? You are trying to attack the north. are the north the people who voted a drug baron Buruki kasamu into the senate? Is the north who use their money to vote and protest for Tacha on the street when Sowore was locked? |
