Hello house. I entered the pool Nov. 7, 2017. My present CRS point is 441. Does it mean i will get ITA in today's draw? Because i am yet to understand this tie-breaking rule. Many thanks.

Nothing to hide. I heard CBPs can be harsh at times. POE at Dulles Airport on my first trip was nice and smooth. Thanks for your responses. God bless you sir.

It is an international airport. I got in through Dulles on my last trip but BWI is closer to my destination.

He hasn't been informed of any punishment neither does he know the reasons for his previous denials. I was the one that advised that it's best to state the truth ASAP.

Thanks @kaptainAfrika. He has actually applied twice misrepresenting. He decided to apply now (3rd app) only to clear his wrongs following my advice. He is not expecting a visa in this new application but only hope to clear his misrepresentations so as not to have adverse effect in future applications. Again, many thanks sir.

Good evening everyone. This forum has been of a huge benefit to me. I was able to get my visa app approved 2 years ago after reading through all the submissions here. @ladyg, @seyewest and everyone, I need your honest take as usual on this issue. I met someone who has misrepresented in his application due to an agent's "wickedness". In his first application, his agent convinced him to lie about his marital status (he claimed married while single) stating that unmarried applicants do not have a chance with USA Visa. He was also encouraged to lie about his monthly income to show he has the funds to sponsor himself and he has applied twice. I heard the story and advised him to reapply and come out clean by stating th truth with the sole aim of clearing his misrepresentation. Please, i will appreciate your thoughts on this. Many thanks.

The tie-breaking rule date for today's draw is May 29, 2017. If more than one candidate has the lowest score, the cut-off is based on the date and time they submitted their Express Entry profiles. This means that anyone with a CRS score of 442 (using today's draw as an example) who didn't enter the pool before May 29, 2017 will not receive ITA. Yours is November 2017 which is after May 29, 2017.

Dont loose all hope just yet. I entered the pool in November and got invited in less than 8days. Even after the tie breaker tingy. Just keep being hopeful. Network Glitch fit happen favor u, , u never can tell.

That is really encouraging as I will be loosing 5points in 12days (Birthday).

Hello house, I need your advise. I paid for IELTS using a friend's First Bank mobile app. I filled in all my details on the remark before confirming the payment.
After this I sent a mail to British Council with the receipt of the transfer. Since then, I didn't get any acknowledgement mail neither was my payment confirmed.
A friend linked me up with a contact that works with British Council who I reported the case to, and he said they.have been having issues with people who paid with other people's account, that the remark details are not reflecting on their account. He promised to help see what he can do about this on Monday.
Yesterday I got a mail from British Council saying I have 24 hours to make my payment, failure to pay will make them cancel my registration.

Please has anyone here experienced same and how was this resolved?

I paid on behalf of my niece who will be writing in Ibadan. I had to call the Kano branch exactly a week later to complain and within one hour, the payment was effected and she got her acknowledgement. I would advice you try that. The man asked me for her details and the date payment was made. You can check their website for the contact. All the best.

Please can anyone predict what the CRS Cut-off could be this week? I have been trying to do some permutations and i prayerfully hope i get an ITA soon. (Team 442).

If the Provinces will not issue ITAs before the next draw, I believe and hope CRS Cut-off will come down a bit by next draw.
